It’s a guest house. Or rather bed n breakfast + resturant. Cons: - it’s in middle of nowhere, there is not a soul nearby after 8pm. UBER ride might come to the area in 20 mins and UBER eat does not cater to the area. Taxi wont come either if you don’t have your own mobile to call them from. -No phone in the room & they won’t let you make calls from reception either, no matter the emergency as they don’t know how to bill it. - restaurant closes after breakfast till 5pm so lunch is not possible. Nor can you ask for any pop or coffee. - the entire hotel will close for all activities after 7.30 pm/8pm depending on their business so you are confined to your room and can use back entrance for entry or exit. - There is no resturant nearby so you will be at the bar man’s mercy if you come back late and he happens to be there for closing (note: he won't even give you water if he is not in a good mood) - internet credentials expire every 24/7 and you got to keep the username and password on you or else you are stranded till they reopen in the morning. Pros : - Staff & owner are really nice and kind. While they are available, they try to do their best to be helpful. - Very clean and neat facility. - if u don't care about the above cons and have business to attend nearby then this is a good facility to stay at.

We are very pleased with the hotel, we stayed one night. Excellent service, good food and good rooms with comfortable beds. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but I passed the buffet which looked perfectly ok. I highly recommend the hotel.

Everything was the way it has to be. Big clean room, quiet neighborhood, friendly staff, easy access. Special thanks goes to chef Daniel for his excellent dishes, helping with translations and making us feel like at home. Thank you all.

1. Pictures look better than reality. 2. Toilet wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived. 3. When I mentioned the toilet issue the next morning, the reaction of reception was a almost a shrug. Everything else was average.

Totally over rated. Let's be fair. Room is clean and modern. But no lift so if you are on the third floor, good luck with heavy luggage.. Service OK, nothing special Worst part is the breakfast, Very limited choice and cheap products.. For 20 EUR, I'd have expected more I usually stay in another hotel in Leverkusen (same price but better), I wanted to give a try to this one given the high ranking..

The hotel is modern and seems like it was recently renovated. The rooms are also renovated and a lot of materials are new. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is no lift and the stairs is easy accessible. We enjoyed our stay (2 nights and it was very practical) but in all honesty we did not enjoy the breakfast, too expensive for what you get and not very much tasteful. Even the coffee tasted bland. If I had known I would have never beforehand paid for the breakfast and would have had breakfast somewhere else. I can recommend the hotel if the price per night was a bit lower and do not recommend the breakfast. Location wise it is fine, the highway is close and Cologne or Düsseldorf is a short drive away.

Clean and lovely hotel with amazing staff.

Enjoyed our stay in Kristallhotel. We had a triple room with an extra bed, spacious room perfect for 4 pers. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Staff very good. Perfect hotel to visit Koln, only 15 minutes by car. I can recommend to everyone

Only best words for the hotel and staff. We often go there for lunch which is perfect - both food and atmosphere. Hotel rooms are also very nice, clean and cosy. Highest reccomendations from my side.
