Nice place to take art classes or shop for art items. They have plenty of outdoor water front area to walk around that is also dog friendly. There is kids playground nearby. Family friendly.

Absolutely the most beautiful art center we have seen in our travels across America. Extraordinary art by coastal artists and a staff absolutely committed to service excellence. The annual arts festival is one of the best I’ve ever been to: fantastic food, beautiful art by visiting artists, and ongoing demonstrations of glass blowing and pottery-making by resident artists at the center.

The CAC is the most beautiful venue inside and out. Not only does this venue provide you with a ton of options but it also is so unique so that you can truly make it your own. When my husband and I arrived at the venue for the very first time, we knew it was the one. One of the aspects we loved most about this place is the spectacular bay views and gorgeous plantation-style building, seriously the best of both worlds. I fell more in love with this venue after meeting Katrina Anderson. Katrina is one of the kindest people I know. She is filled with so much love for what she does that you can't help but love her! She made my experience one that I will never forget! She just had this overwhelming confidence that my day was going to be perfect, and IT WAS! I was completely worry free, largely in part to her and my amazing planner, Eventive Occasions! I am so glad I chose the CAC, and you will be too!

I like this place so much! It's well organized and such a wonderful location to visit with family and friends. I participated in the Pottery class offered in the mornings. Ms. Maia was an excellent instructor and very personable! She gave clear instructions and was able to help each step of the way. We made a small bowl on the wheel and were able to pick from a wide variety of glaze colours. Take note that it will take 1 week for your bowl to be ready as the kiln process does take time. This experience was an amazing birthday gift from a close friend! So grateful for the experience.

We had a great time learning about making glass art here in the Hot Shop. They gave a very informative presentation, showing how to make 3 different pieces (a paperweight, an ornament and a flower) and then one at a time, you can choose which you would like to make. The artists are very patient and give each person a very personal experience and they do not rush you at all. There are many colors to choose from when making your piece and there are lot of examples for inspiration. When you are all finished, your pieces need to be placed in a kiln for a while, so you can't take your art home the same day, you will have to plan to come back to pick it up. I am not sure if they ship, but I am sure they would be more than happy to let you know if you give them a quick phone call. I would definitely suggest trying this place out if you have some time and you are interested in the art of glass blowing. The group classes are currently Monday - Friday at 9am. Space is limited. They like to keep the classes small so everyone gets plenty of time and a bit of one on one. I am definitely going to come back here and do the glass blowing again.

Truly lovely grounds and artist spaces... glass blowing, pottery, and artist gallery make for an excellent art experience with the added benefit of being able to purchase the displays.

This beautiful facility is full of beautiful things! Locally crafted glass work, clay pieces, woodwork, and paintings. We spent nearly an hour enjoying the gallery. Awesome stop for those who love pretty, creative, interesting things.

Had a great time here. Watched guys blow glass. No one was working in claynstudio. And the artist displays were impressive. Even watched dolphins off the dock around back! Plus beautiful trees...

We enjoyed meeting Dan & Athan at the hot shop. They were making beautiful art pieces (pumpkins) and taught us as they went through the steps. My kids didn't want to leave. The pottery house had beautiful pieces and it was neat to see things in different stages. If we were local, we'd take advantage of their classes. The art gallery is beautiful, filled with friendly people and you'll want to meet the gallery pups! :) Before heading back to TN, we bought a couple of things to bring home as mementos from our trip. We bought a glass pumpkin and an adorable clay bird. ***There are items for every budget, so don't be afraid to go.***

Our daughter was married here on September 16, 2023. The venue was perfect for this occasion. I’ve never met a staff of people who were so warm, inviting, and helpful! They really seemed like family. The facility and grounds were immaculate in every way. We would highly recommend this to anyone considering this location for any occasion!
