Just
got
off
the
phone
with
Jody
Butler.
Been
considering
this
place
for
an
extended
stay
while
awaiting
to
start
my
travel
nursing
assignment.
I’m
moving
out
of
my
current
place
on
July
20
which
is
in
4
days
and
needed
somewhere
to
live
until
then.
This
location
wants
$1335
for
28
days
to
stay
on
Lee
Road
OR
$375
a
week.
The
site
list
$1064/
month
so
apparently
taxes
and
extra
fees
are
$300.
I
currently
pay
$1423
for
a
2/1
luxury
apartment
in
Maitland.
Stainless
steel
appliances,
faux
wood
floors,
granite
counter
tops,
tile
black
splash,
etc
(nice
area).
Electric
is
under
$50
and
WiFi
is
$70,
all
other
utilities
are
included.
I
called
for
two
things.
I
wanted
to
see
if
I
could
walk
through
my
exact
room
before
signing
anything
and
to
confirm
price
/
see
if
there
was
room
for
negotiating
the
monthly
price.
1.
Based
on
their
mixed
reviews
and
based
on
the
quality
of
living
im
accustomed
to
,
I
wanted
to
ensure
that
the
space
was
clean
,
free
of
rodents
/
roaches
/
bed
bugs
and
smelled
nice.
If
I’m
doing
a
monthly
stay,
I’d
want
to
inspect
my
space
as
if
I
would
by
renting
an
apartment,
purchasing
a
home
or
buying
a
car,
it’s
no
different.
He
told
me,
it’s
law/procedure
for
me
to
review
the
space,
near
the
time
I’m
moving
in.
I
don’t
really
know
what
he
meant
by
that
because
we
immediately
went
into
talking
about
the
price.
Which
He
tried
to
tell
me
I’m
saving
money
but
not
in
my
case
because
for
a
$100
more
,
I’d
have
my
own
space
with
a
guarantee
of
no
roaches,
no
bed
bugs
,
cleanliness
and
fair
management
company
so
not
a
good
sales
point.
Also,
I
asked
if
he
could
do
better
on
the
price.
I’ve
been
a
business
owner
for
4
years
and
have
stayed
in
a
plethora
of
hotels
(usually
Marriott
properties).
If
you
speak
with
the
sales
department
at
hotels,
for
the
most
part,
they’re
always
willing
to
give
some
wiggle
room
because
at
the
end
of
the
day,
they
want
occupied
rooms.
If
they’re
not
occupied,
they’re
not
bringing
income.
Jody
told
me
$1335
was
firm.
For
the
location,
small
space
,
living
in
a
1
star
hotel
and
small
space.
It’s
not
worth
$1355.
It’s
also
not
worth
the
high
weekly
rates
which
is
advertised
as
$287
online.
Best
of
luck
to
anyone
struggling
who
feels
this
is
their
last
resort.
I
will
happily
find
something
nicer
and
more
affordable.
