The place and service looks like they are running an organ business, it's expensive , served with plastic kettles, BUT... It is so good. So we will come again. We took black and rino ribs. Both are excellent but my heart goes to rino ones. Wow this is simply great. We came back this year again, and all stays the same. Great place to go. For me, it is the number 1 restaurant in NYC. We came back again during summertime, this was great but please STOP using the BBQ sauce in all dishes. Great meat doesn't need sauce at all.

Definitely lives up to the hype! Been following for a long time and always wanted to come, so when I was in NY this week I had to go. The food and portions were excellent and something you definitely cannot get elsewhere. Highly recommend the smoked chicken sandwich and the tacos! Service was great and the food was fresh with amazing flavour. Would love to see a location in London 😉 Definitely take the time to visit and enjoy!

Now New York ain’t known for its bbq but this spot is def making a statement. Grab four friends, order the sampler, and your day will be made! Was very impressed. Ordered the bbq sampler. Expensive so was worried, but out came a piping hot meal meticulously put together. The pastrami was the winner for me in terms of tenderness and flavor but the burnt ends was barking with bbq flavor. You could just tell they put crazy amount of efforts in this. They bbq sauce was delicious and that radish mayo made everything better. Excited to come back and try the ribs!

I decided to come here for lunch and order the fried chicken sandwich to-go; It was my first time coming here and I read so many great reviews and the food looked amazing online. I was very disappointed at what I seen when I opened my meal I am not sure what was going on that day but It was very disturbing to look at, I couldn’t help but to think are they really cooking the food in the kitchen. I just wanted to advise anyone to be careful when ordering at this establishment.

A high level smokehouse!! Delicious food, great service, I have tried most of the menu and I can recommend my top three must have, burnt ends, smoked fried chicken sandwich and the pastrami brisket, Dino ribs - overrated.

The Chutney on the chicken is finger lickin’ good. Give this place a shot- it’s delish.

We got the corn, egg roll, hot wings, and ends. The reason why this gets a second star is only because it was freshly made. The corn was $6 for an ear of corn wrapped in tin foil. That’s it’s 😂. It wasn’t even toasted. The hot wings were not hot and were lazily made - they were covered in hair, not cut, and super greasy. The egg roll was okay but completely lacks flavor. The ends were the best but very average for the price tag.

One of the first things I saw when I got to the front of the line was the cook slicing the meat. It looked so good! It is a small place so there are not many seats. It is not fancy either; people are in and out quickly. Everything is served on trays too. We were able to get seats pretty quickly. The vibe is kind of dark but energized. We got the dino ribs, back ribs, the smoked brisket, and some sides. They were so tender. The spotlight is totally on the meat- very little sides (just some cabbage salad and pickles) and sauce to distract from the focus on the meat's texture and flavor. I heard the best thing is the fried chicken. I am excited to go back and try that and everything else!!!

I've been excited to go here for a long time, as kosher bbq is hard to find, and I don't know if they slipped, or they were always like this, but: I had ribs, pulled beef tacos, brisket tacos, sangria, and coleslaw. -The ribs didn't have a lot meat on them, and the sauce was like slightly spicy ketchup. The meat wasn't fall off the bone at all. -The pulled beef tacos were just bad. -The brisket tacos were good. That was the only saving grace. -The coleslaw was just purple cabbage cut up. -The sangria was some cold wine with apple chunks in it, no extra flavor. What a disappointment.

Phenomenal brisket. The juice, the fat, the pull, the smoke, the bark... Perfection. The sides were great too, I really appreciated the sweet and acidic contrasts of the pickles and slaw as well as the caramelized onion mashed potatoes that were incredibly rich and smooth.

The meat is delicious and the amount given this time was enough for three people The food is sweet For those who like very sweet food the place is not big and not fancy but worth a visit at least once a year

Food was delicious. The ambience is plain: It's a little hole in the wall, with a small second place to sit down next door. It's messy with limited decor, and you have to order in advance and listen for them to holler your name. The focus is on the food. But the food is very good. I went with a few friends, and shared 3 dishes: Dino ribs- A. You have to order 1.5 pounds, but we polished that off no problem. Parts are a little fatty, but it enhanced the flavor. The meat was succulent, and easily fell off the bone and melted in our mouths. Pulled brisket flatbread- A. Comes with 4 pieces. Delicious taste, and works really well as a group appetizer. Smoked brisket tacos- A-. Comes with 2 tacos. Pretty good mix of flavors, but it's not quite the taco-level taste. Great place to come with friends to enjoy quality smoked meats, if you're not hung up on ambience. It knows what it is: it's all about the meat.

Wow wow wow, literally the place to go if you want pure unadulterated beef!! Starting with the chicken adobo tacos, the combination of a soft flour tortilla combined with moist chicken and a savory blend of toppings and sauce, absolutely delicious. From there we move on to the holy grail of smoked meats - The Dino rib! Just imagine tender melt in your mouth pieces of meat with that perfect smoke ring and a beautiful salt and pepper bark flavor. You have to get this if you come! To top it all off we had the pulled beef fries which honestly was just plain yum, the horseradish mayo really gave that nice kick and finished off the sweetness of the pulled beef. Overall 5/5 and definitely going to be here often, I just can’t think of another place that offers comparable beef. Period.

I got to get my Izzy every week. Taking my family and enjoying amazing kosher bbq - plenty of food, seating, and always find parking nearby. Love Izzy!

I spent $74 on my food alone and it wasn’t much but not worth it. Afterwards I just thought of the good food I could’ve had with that money. The guy at the register wasn’t friendly or anything like that but maybe that’s not really their focus. If your looking for Kosher BBQ specifically it’s a good place. I just wanted really good bbq and didn’t measure up for me.

Went already 3 times, food is just amazing, everything on spot. These guys know how to make BBQ! Steak and ribs that melt in your mouth, succulent chicken & turkey. Really, everything i tasted (and I tasted everything😀) was superb. Why only 4 stars? Well, they need a better ordering system, it takes too long, but food arrives quickly. Also, just know this place is very focused on smoked meat. They do not have vegetarian or fish options (beyond the sides), and is really for meat lovers.no kids menu either.

Overpriced and underseasoned. This restaurant was highly recommended. We spent almost $100 on a slab of ribs and brisket. The brisket was very dry and had very little seasoning. The portion was also extremely small for the price. The ribs were 70% bone and barely had any meat. The "cream" slaw almost seemed as if it had just come out of a bag. I will never visit this place again.

This place used to hit the spot but no more. Ordered an app and main for $50 and was charged $1 per sauce on top. Pastrami was mostly fat not meat. Would not recommend.

Highly recommend all the meat. We ordered the lamb ribs, burned ends, wings, and pastrami. Every entree comes with pickles and red cabbage. Everything was ready in ten minutes. It was all licking my fingers delicious!! The best in my opinion was the lamb ribs. Interesting options for local beer. I added a photo of what i got, it had a tropical flavor that i enjoyed greatly. The place is small, only 4 tables (seats 18) and a few outdoor as well. We came at 4:30 and by 5 the line was almost out the door and no seating available. Definitely go early if you want to sit down. Husbands favorite was the pastrami, which came with a horseradish mayo and mustard! We definitely will eat here again! Great food!

Didn't disappoint! Very good smoke on the brisket. Nice red color at the edge. Melted in my mouth. No knife is necessary. Pulled beef had great flavor and texture. Shared some of the side dishes and apps as well. Worth the visit.

Kosher BBQ in the heart of Jewish Brooklyn. Did not meet my high expectations. Ribs were tender, but bland. Lukewarm. Beef tacos very good but small and only two. Fries excellent. Expensive.

Fantastic 1/2 lb of brisket - tender, spicy, and great texture. I tried my friend’s burnt ends, and they were also delicious. Edgar at the front welcomed us warmly. Highly recommend running here!

I saw this place on a TV show in Israel and said to myself I must go. It took me 1 hour from Manhattan (subway and some walking) and unfortunately it wasn't worth it. I had the briskit sandwich. The meat was dry and bland with a lot of ketchop on it. The fries was a McDonalds fries. Huge disappointment.

Solid food every time I come here and very fair portions. Everything is flavored perfectly. It's not a sit down restaurant vibe but the food more than makes up for it and honestly I enjoy the casual vibe. It's a small place but they have the next door restaurant just for seating ao definitely check that out

Ordered delivery for my guy. Didn't receive a beer. Called to let them know and I overheard the delivery guy calling me a liar 🤦‍♀️ got a refund but would have rather my man had the beer. Food is great however slight salt in my experience

Ive been here many times and it's well worth the hype. The food is consistently delicious. Kosher BBQ smokehouse with a variety of different kinds of meat. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I always look forward to my next experience.

I’ve been here a few times. Love the food. I’m not a big meat eater, but when I do eat meat, I always eat here. Nice, casual atmosphere. Good vibes, outdoor seating. Authentic smoked meat.
