Great Park. I take my dog there and walk 5 mi along the damn everyday. Great exercise two to go up and down the stairs. Kids enjoy hanging out at the playground and it seems to be a pretty cool place to go fishing.

Beautiful park with multiple entrances on S Old State Road, Lewis Center Road and Africa Road. Home to Ohio’s largest inland beach, lots of options for recreational activities. There is a winter park for kids’ sledding. Lots of hiking and bike trails as well as boating opportunities.

Great views, lots of different terrain to explore and activities to do. There's a nice park with playgrounds, sitting areas, shaded tree cover, grills, etc. There are trails and walking paths. You can hike the stairs up to the top of the dam. Plenty of boats were in the water and people fishing. There's a beach too.

The playgrounds have a nice, squishy floor. There is an OPEN restroom at this time that is decent. They have lots of things for kids to climb on and open space to run. It doesn't have a fence, but it pretty good other than that. 😃😃😃

My family and I had a WONDERFUL time! It was so nice to go out and try to catch some fish, people watch, and just enjoy being on the water. I've been coming to ACSP to use the camping grounds ever since I was a kid and my family would go. We also appreciate the dog park now that we have a four legged friend who needs a LOT of exercise! If you're ever in the Galena area, a visit to alum creek is well worth it!

I love this park. I wish it had more walking trails, but on the dam is a beautiful spot to watch the sun set.

Great park, great place to take family and friends. They have a lot of seating/picnic areas at the lower level of the dam. There is a nice playground for the smaller kids. Plenty of parking, it can be a bit tricky to get in and out of depending on the traffic levels and what time of day you visit. I went for fishing, didn't catch any fish but did get a crawdad. There are restrooms that are decent, plenty of trash cans, shade. Very good walking trail on the top of the dam. I would recommend checking it out.

It was a decent place my kids really enjoyed themselves and the bathroom facilities were really nice compared to other places I’ve been closer to the beach. I just wish there was more shade outside of the big tent because if someone is having a gathering then there’s not much shelter from the sun. The parking was free and they had a beverage vending machine and plenty of places to fish and grill.

Windy almost year round but what an amazing walk close to Columbus. You really feel like you are miles away in a coastal city. If you squint a bit. Nice sunset sunrise spot. If you like fitness punish yourself on the steps and hill. Playground has some broken bits but the kids don't seem to mind. Haven't fished but always a steady crowd.

The vibe here is simply amazing, although it would be better if more trees were planted and the top of the dam was fully paved in order for bikes to drive more easily
