This was a nice property. The room was clean and the furnishings seemed pretty new. The staff was friendly. After I was checked in I was on the app looking at the hotel amenities and noticed it said firearms were not allowed on the property. I am a Texas license to carry holder and I am pretty familiar with the laws. To start with there are no 30.06 or 30.07 signs at the hotel entrance so this little blip on the website really doesnโ€™t mean anything. If they did have either one of these signs, 30.06 or 30.07, as of September 2021 they would not be enforceable. Last September SB20 went into effect, it basically says a hotel can not prevent a guest from having their firearm or ammunition in their room or on the property unless it is prohibited by state or federal law.

Overpriced and overrated. $175.00, on a Monday night, for a basic room with a king-size bed, is way overpriced. This location doesn't honor any discounts. I presented my federal ID card, and requested a government rate. I was told this location does not offer government rates. I've stayed at much nicer Hampton Inns, and have paid less. I won't be back.

My original reservation was for 3 nights. I ended up staying 2 additional nights due to my own circumstances but the front desk accommodated the requests and kept me in the same room. I had a lot of personal items in my room due to being in the process of moving. So I only swapped linens/towels as needed and put the trash out which saved housekeeping the time and labor to service my room for 4 days. And I'm an extremely clean, organized and very aware type person. I was shocked that the hotel shared me an additional $200 "CLEANING FEE": I've attempted to call and speak to them twice since with no luck being able to talk to anyone that could discuss it, So I decide simply to dis;pute it with my AMEX. 12/16: I sent these details to the Hilton support contact as requested in the owner reply and will update with details.

We stayed here while passing through for one night. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the parking lot was very well lit. The staff was great. We enjoyed our stay so much that we rebooked the hotel on our way back through town. There was a situation in the city they are in that was completely out of their control with a blackout, but the owner handled it like a champion. After we arrived and realized we were unable to stay there, we booked a hotel in the next town over. I emailed the owner to ask for a refund, and she quickly responded and refunded our stay. She was very apologetic about the situation, which we understood she had no control over and appreciated her attention and quick action.

Paid way too much for this place. Musty moldy smell is overwhelming, rusted light fixtures, fridge temp knob is broken, no idea if it's going to work...kinda don't want to sleep here..or take my shoes off... Front desk staff were very nice though.

My room was facing this very very busy highway. Trucks run 24x7 non-stop. The first night I woke up in the middle of the night because of the noise. After the first night I had to check out and went somewhere else more quiet.

Great hotel! Very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly! The breakfast was delicious and had different options from cereal to eggs and sausage! The next time I'm in Orange, TX I will be staying at this hotel again!

Nice but charged an extra 75.00 fee I wasn't expecting. Breakfast was the best part of our stay.

Room was fairly clean. Bed was old and lumpy. Bathroom was falling apart. Needs to be sprayed for bugs.
