Our stay at the Doubletree was thoroughly disappointing. I had 2 rooms for four nights and I would say it was the single worst stay I’ve ever had at a Hilton property. Between work and personal travel I spend roughly 50 nights a year in hotels across North America so I have exposure to a variety of different properties. The staff at this particular hotel would be best described as cordial but apathetic. It was a strange experience for me and completely out of step with other Hilton properties. There appears to be ongoing investment at the property and it is needed! The office chair in one of my rooms was worn to the point where there were holes through the seat with hardware sticking through! The shower would sometimes supply only hot water making showering impossible, fixtures in different public places were damaged and falling off the walls. The pool was dirty. The staff appeared to be in another world at times, for example: when I checked in my two different rooms I went through the full set of questions twice, presented my ID twice; not a big deal but very strange explaining a short time apart that I still don’t have a vehicle to park……? The most frustrating part of the whole stay was certainly related to the cleaning of one of our rooms. We checked in Wednesday and asked for our room to be cleaned Thursday and Saturday. We were out Thursday morning and stopped by our room early afternoon and it had not been cleaned so we went to the front desk to confirm it was booked, which they assured us it was. Our room did not get cleaned that day. We then stopped by the front desk Friday morning to ask that the room be cleaned as it was missed the day before, again we were assured it would be addressed. Again as we returned in the evening nothing had been done. At this point I spoke to the manager on duty and expressed that I felt this was unacceptable, they let me know they had no one to clean the room, there was nothing to be done, and there would be no consideration on my bill. I also emailed the GM of the facility about our stay and have received no response. Our room did get cleaned Saturday……. finally. I give this hotel 2 stars only because of location (walking distance to outlet mall and Angel’s Field) otherwise it would be one for sure. Find another option, the room rate and brand of this hotel had me expecting a far better experience than what I had.

Where do I start. We flew from Washington state to go to Disneyland and made a mistake by staying here. Our room was clean but felt out dated and some of the furniture was worn out and old (see pics) something you don't expect for the double tree. Also our remote didn't work for the TV and the A/C worked terrible and would not get our room cold. Also the shower was definitely a let down they still use the old tub style which I haven't seen in awhile. staff was friendly for the most part. Parking an extra $24! For self parking Just a total rip off. My family members rooms we're dirty. And they don't clean your room until you check out so all in all I would not recommend staying here there are much better and nicer hotels nearby. We will not come back to this location.

Do not stay here. They do not clean your room if you are on a multi-night stay. The elevators are dangerous and out of condition. The elevator dropped 5 floors for a family here while I was here. They employees in the lobby are nice enough. Our door lock broke mid stay and we were locked out of our room for 2 hours. We have not been offered any sort of compensation for being locked out of our rooms. Its the worst Hilton I've ever stayed at. I'll be sticking to Marriotts from now on.

I would give zero stars for this hotel if I could. The only positive I have is it’s location. From beginning to end the customer service and attitude of front desk staff was horrendous. The hotel needs to do a major training on customer service skills. The hotel lobby is beautiful but the rooms are very dated (not a big deal) but they smell musty and headboards are old/ visibly dirty. Paint is also chipping from room ceiling and bathroom ceiling. The icing on the cake is they will put unethical and illegal charges on your account without telling you. Thankfully, I checked my bill before departing and they said they reversed the charge but zero apology for their purposeful error. Without going into personal/private information they charged for something that was discussed prior to check in and that is 100% illegal to charge for. I even had documentation I could provide however was told multiple times they did not need it (nor legally can they require it anyways). I spent tons of time following up weeks after my stay about the inaccurate charge. I would wait on hold for 30+ minutes to even get someone to answer the phone. I emailed their accounting/ billing staff twice with never a response. They kept telling me it was reversed when my credit card company assured me there was no refund on my card. Ultimately I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company after hours wasted following up with Hotel Fera. In summary, stay here for the location but if you’re looking for even somewhat decent customer service look elsewhere.

Was looking forward to another good Hilton experience, but this hotel was a let down. The staff at the front counter were helpful enough, however the room did not live up to expectation. The room for starters did not have a refrigerator. The staff at the front counter stated that this was planned during upcoming renovations when I asked. The beds were okay. The cooling was good. Maybe I'm being a little critical, but for a Hilton hotel not to have refrigerators in rooms is very ordinary, especially when looking to stay for multiple days. Needless to say I checked out after 1 night and found a more suitable hotel.

November 12 through 18th, 2023: Signed up for Hilton Honors membership thinking it would save me money booking directly through Hilton, but room prices ended up about $20 to $30 more expensive. They charge additional $25 to $30 per night to park a car for a paying “guest”. Never mind all that… their “amenities” are unavailable. Closed pool, closed hot tub, closed gym, closed lobby, no business center (see pictures). On top of all that, the room is no better than a Motel 6, just 6X more expensive. The toilet was leaking from behind, missing a fire suppression sprinkler, other busted fire suppression sprinkler, moldy shower/tub (see pictures). Room had a super tiny fridge, no microwave oven, AND they charge additional for “complimentary” water (see picture). One day after “housecleaning,” I retuned to find a dirty used toilet (see picture). Gross! And, I’m a guy with super short hairs… so the hairs in those pictures are not mine, but they appear daily. I need to return to this area next year, and absolutely avoiding this hole!! Hotel Fera (11/21/23): You have my contact information, please tell me how you plan on fixing or making up for this terrible experience...

Currently undergoing renovations, but with a flipper’s sensibility - lots of fancy finishes but with the old yellowing light switches, wobbly chipped toilets, and doors that don’t necessarily latch without a shove. The elevators have a fancy new system where you pick the floor before boarding and must go to the right elevator. Oddly though, the elevator still waits on each floor as if it didn’t know who it was there to pick up. You can’t change your mind. There’s no buttons inside, but it’s still a long pause before doors close. The hotel lacks basic amenities - no mini fridge in the room, no EV charging, no chilled water dispenser for bottle filling, no shuttle service to Disneyland. You can rent a fridge for $10 a night, if they have one available. Overall, fine for a single business traveler, but not a great choice for a family.

The staff were really friendly and polite. We checked in a little after 4 and got a room that had the Disney fireworks view at night. The room was spacious. It did had a strong smell when we walked in but figured it was from the cleaning in the bathroom. The room is outdated but still functional as the beds were fine. Wish there was a mini fridge in the room along with a fan in the bathroom. The location overall was a nice spot as it is close to the Orange outlet mall. Cookies were delicious of course and they were nice to provide more when asking. We would probably stay here again next time. Hopefully by then they update the rooms.

We stayed one night before heading into Disneyland. Every single person working was friendly and polite. There were no stuffy attitudes. The fan that's part of the heating and cooling can be set to run all night. The room was large, beds and chairs comfortable. A groovy coffee shop in the lobby. Also a bar and a restaurant that makes hearty food that tastes good.

Had a great experience staying this weekend at this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean, very modern and new. We stayed for a Disneyland vacation and used the ART bus to travel to and from the hotel. The restaurant below was also very nice to eat at. The hotels service was also very nice in letting us check in a bit earlier, getting us help on utilizing the ART bus and just being friendly. I would stay here again or recommend.

So this place looks nice, but the misses can be significant. We checked into room 1506 for a quick one night stay for business. The bathroom had the most horrid mildew smell. It was so bad you didn't want to be in the bathroom. It got me thinking, what the heck would cause that? Couldn't see any water stains or anything obvious anywhere. Then I took a shower. The glass shower door, which looks nice enough, doesn't keep water in the shower. I got out of my quick shower and there was about a half gallon of water on the floor covering about a third of the surface area of the bathroom floor. How long had this been going on? I hope this review serves as notice to them about the issue. I have to assume its not the first they have heard of it. Won't stay here again.

On two different occasions did we come home from Disney, after 17 hours of being there, and only have scalding hot water come out of the shower. No matter which way we turned the dial, not an ounce of cold water or warm water come out. It got fixed the first time but it happened a second time. We were too exhausted to have it fix and one of us had already half showered. It made coming back to the hotel miserable. On the last night of our stay, we came back to a completely untouched, uncleaned room. None of the room cleaners came and took our dirty towels, cups, trash, or made the bed or anything. Not only that but most of the staff is completely incompetent. When he had questions, they gave vague answers that were completely unhelpful. There wasn’t an ice machine on our floor; I visited five different floors which did have an ice machine but none of which worked. They turned the water off in the entire hotel without warning or notice. Their pool was unavailable so they sent us to a hotel to use a pool that was freezing cold and completely dirty. Looked like mold or dirt in the grout of the shower and bathroom.

Wish we had small mini fridges in our room. We stayed for 7 days. This would have been a mice bonus and score the place a perfect 5. Worthy to also note no hot tub just an out door heated pool.

The hotel is very nice and clean. However, it is misleading staying here. Parking is NOT included. It is $28 per day and the parking structure is around the corner, and not very well lit. The photos are also misleading. Breakfast is NOT included unless you are a premium member. Upon arrival, staff was not friendly. Be aware if you stay here of the extra expenses. They caught me off guard and I had no choice but to pay them.

Great location. It's super close to a mall and bowling alley. Very clean and nice area. The hotel was beautiful in the lobby and in the rooms. The outdoor fire pit area was really nice. The restaurant had really good food and service. I had the salmon. It was the best salmon I've ever had. I definitely would stay here again.

I normally travel for business and I have stayed here a few times. However after my last recent stay I will no longer choose to stay here. The rooms are really loud as there is no sound proof between the rooms. It’s hard to get a good night sleep. The outlets in the rooms are so old they don’t hold the plugs in, making it difficult to plug or charge anything. The linen always smell musty and they don’t use fabric conditioning on their towels so it feels you are drying yourself with sandpaper.

I had no idea what to expect, but wow! What an amazing hotel and the service was outstanding. Alan was superb, he helped me and a friend with a smile on his face. This may be minimal to some but, now a days it's hard-to-find good service. It was getting a little windy out on the beautiful patio and the heat lamp was not turning on and he happily went and retrieved a full tank. He was just very nice and helpful, and I think someone should know! Merry Christmas everyone! Thaks Alan if you are reading this post.

The remodel they did in this hotel is exquisite!! Seriously sooo pretty. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, they provided a crib like we asked and it was all set up for us, welcomed with the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered and warm cookies, had a great view of the Disneyland fireworks from our room window which my 2 boys loved so much. And we didn’t rent a car so we thought we would have to Uber everywhere but this hotel is in such a great location, we were able to walk very short distances to food places and the fun outdoor mall!! Will definitely be staying again. Great price for great quality! 🙌🏻 👏🏻

100% worth every penny! I thought for the price I would get an "okay" hotel, so I was amazed just pulling up to the beautiful building. It felt like an extremely high class, but welcoming place as soon as we walked in. The staff was so nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and the room refresh while we were at Disney was beautiful, the restaurant (The Peel) downstairs was so delicious, and the views were beautiful!

I'm a Gold Member. I had 2 rooms. I booked a King and 2 Doubles. I spoke to 3 different people got 3 different answers with questions on my King as when we got there there were no more Kings available. I was told we'd have a Refrigerator and microwave...They said our room did not have those options. I told them thats not what I was told when I called the day before check in to verify our rooms and ask why my King was changed to a double. I was then told they would at least bring up a refrigerator to at least one of the rooms and that never happened. I asked for a printout of my bill....It does not match what I was charged! I never received an email for one of the rooms They sent me 3 emails for the other room. Im very disappointed in this location. Also One room had scalding hot water even in the toilet!!! When you sat down you got steam on your behind. They never fixed this issue! They also carried cereal to buy but no white milk just chocolate and strawberry. Very frustrated overall.

The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Everyone greets you with a smile! The location is great for hanging out at the block and going to Disneyland and the Packing District. I love visiting The Blind Rabbit, Ketel Bar, Iron Press as well as Rolling Boil when I stay here. The hotel has always been clean and in good shape maintenance wise. Looking forward to my next stay. Shout out to the guys who run Valet Alex and Colby as well as the Front desk staff Alex and John!!! Thank you so much for making our stays amazing!!!

I stayed here many times between 2015-2018 and am back working in the area. What a change. This hotel has really gone down hill. They are doing renovations in the lobby which I knew about ahead of time and was told they recently finished renovations on three different floors but the room I stayed in was horrible, not worth the money spent and grounds to cancel future reservations. Time to pick a different hotel. The bed was fine. There were missing wall hangings with hooks still in the wall. A mirror, a picture....who knows what went there at one time. The desk chair was in such poor shape, I would be embarrassed to donate it to a donation center. If I was paying $50/night, no big deal but nearly $200/nt.....no way. The power source for all three lamps in the room were so worn out, you could not get a phone charger or laptop cord to stay inserted.....a fire hazard maybe. I asked the front desk to replace at least one of the lamps next to the bed and to clean the room. After a long day of work, coming back to the room around 8:00PM, the room was not clean and none of the lamps had been fixed or replaced. I called the front desk - they sent up "engineering". I was told there were no available lamps in the entire hotel to replace the faulty ones in my room but they could put an extension cord. Yes it solved the problem but I would have expected the front desk to respond with - "we can't fix the lamps and we failed to clean your room even though you requested it, can we offer you a different room?" I planned to share my experience with the front desk when I checked out. I indicated I was checking out and asked for a printed receipt. I was told they are unable to provide printed receipts showing the transaction, instead, I need to check my email. I was not asked "how was your stay" or any of the other things a hotel might ask if they actually cared. I decided to head to the airport and vow, this hotel will never see me again.

Love the view, amazing receptionist, unfortunately when we entered the room was very dirty the soap was used and had hair on it. As for the bed it was full of hair. Wasn’t sure if they wash the sheets after every guest. But when we told the receptionist they moved me to a different. The view was ok but most of the lights weren’t working. I went to sleep so didn’t need all of them to work anyway. Love how they have iron in the room. When I told the receptionist as I finished my check out that most of the lights didn’t work she thought I was begging for a discount she was very rude. Even though, I didn’t need any discounts. When I told her that “I was telling her that not to get any discounts but to improve their rooms” she showed some respect and started taking notes. Now Double Tree always clean, but sometimes hotels get booked and forget to clean but I like the management. They tried to take care of everything and not make us wait for too long.

Booked this hotel for a family trip. This hotel is in a great location. Not only close to Disney but there are lots of stores and restaurants around the area and I mean under a mile. From the moment you get off you vehicle the staff is so friendly and attentive to your needs. Rooms are kept so clean while you're out. From the parking lot, the lobby and to your room cleanest hotel. We will be booking with this hotel on returning trips.

We had a great stay at this Double Tree property. Our room was in decent shape, as well, it was clean. It had an awesome shower that the water gets hot very fast. The breakfast crew was polite and awesome! They were very attentive to our meal needs while also being very talkative. The evening bar was fun, also. We were surprised at how active it was each night. And , the property has a pretty expansive pool, hot tub, and outdoor seating area.

Staff was super helpful, attentive and friendly. The room was clean, which is all I ask when traveling. I don’t spend much time in the room, so I am not too picky, but it would be nice to have a small fridge to keep some drinks in.…although I feel like less hotels have fridges now. Either way, nice place, and the cookies they give you when you check in are crack!!

This hotel was ill prepared for a large convention... 1. Short-staffed (yes this could be COVID related) but also poorly scheduled staff at peak times. 2. The two on-site food service areas (restaurant and cafe) were not open flexible hours and even opened late on mornings when there were early meetings. 3. The cafe ran out of sandwiches and salads and other lunch items and there are not many options within close walking distance for lunch in-between meetings. 4. The shower has a high step into a fiberglass floor that is dangerously slick when wet. 5. Some of the furniture in the room was worn and torn and in desperate need of replacement. 6. Refrigerators do not come in the room and I was told you had to rent/reserve one and they were out by the time we checked in on Wednesday afternoon. 7. Do not get a room on the east side facing the 5 freeway and the UCI emergency room unless you enjoy the clear and loud sound of police sirens and people screaming from the streets late at night. 8. Of the four elevators for 21 floors, there were two button styles. Two were the typical button per floor and the other two had a system where you were to punch in the floor number on a numeric keypad and hit enter. One elevator had a sign with these instructions and the other did not and neither had a sign that warned users the system would only take two floors at a time and if you didn't enter in a lower floor in time, that person had to take a long ride. 9. The covered parking structure is shared with local businesses and gets full quickly in the day. It's also quite a walk to check-in so I suggest dropping off your luggage and anyone with mobility issues before parking. 10. The A/C in the meeting rooms would suddenly go on high part way through our meeting and freeze us all out. 11. The event staff constantly interrupted our meeting from doors all around the room instead of simply checking in with one of the designated pages or organizers or at the attendee entrance. 12. Where they had us place our check-in table was directly across a hallway from the Amazon self-pick-up leaving only 2-3 feet for people to line-up and pass through to the meeting rooms. 13. The suites are on the small side and are really just rooms with an additional small living room and kitchenette. Positives are the central location to north and south Orange County, close proximity to the freeway, short drive or long walk to Outlets of Orange shopping center, on-site full bar (though it was small and did not have the best hours for a weekday conference), the staff were kind and as helpful as they were given the flexibility to be, and the rooms were clean.

The location is fantastic and you can get to a lot of places fast. Especially for vacationing. Rooms are decent. Service was horrible. No one seems to really care. I stayed 7 days and attempted multiple times to get my room cleaned without a success. No one could give me an answer nor care to help. No apology, no explanation, no nothing.

Nice hotel, rooms a but dated but overall great stay. Hotel has parking at additional price. Restaurant on site, Starbucks kiosk inside as well. Meeting room was well set up. Hotel bar was busy, nice to see during these times. Staff was friendly and went out of way to help. Lobby is spacious and great spot to hang out. Walking distance to orange outlets, and one exit away from downtown Disney.
