Our dog, Cooper is super fearful. I was really nervous about finding her a new vet after we moved too far away from our old one. Everyone at VCA Orange has been so great with her in our two visits so far! In fact, Cooper warmed right up to one of the girls there who we really appreciated showing Coop that strangers aren't scary! Our other dog, Fidus, is scared of needles (I know, how does he even know what they are, right?) but the staff has given him his vaccines twice with no issues! We are really pleased and feel safe with our dogs in their hands!

Front desk staff is wonderful. Rest of experience has me looking elsewhere. We were able to sneak in due to a cancellation. We found a stray and wanted to get her checked out and fully vaccinated. The initial quote that was presented to us was $1200+. We worked with the vet tech to cut some things out that didn't seem necessary and brought the bill down to around ~$500. We were not informed we would need to do additional tapeworm treatments until I called today. When I called today the vet says she told us during the initial visit, but neither of us heard it. I don't blame her, it sounds like they are understaffed and stretched all the way thin and she seemed to have been on a timer when she walked into chat with us. I'm sure she sees a lot of patients. When I looked into the tapeworm medication I found the injectable medication on chewy rx. Is it normal to charge 4x+ the RETAIL price of medication? Seems like a big corporate machine. Appreciate the urgent first visit, but will not return here. Felt jerked around and don't trust their lab tests (got a negative fecal test despite visually confirming there are worms)

Save yourself the trouble. Dr. vole is wonderful and provided care for the pet. She is there on Thursdays only. However everything else from billing to getting transparency on medications and 3rd party pharmacies is nearly impossible. Looking for clear answers and accountability. Depending who you speak with you may or may not get answers. It has been a frustrating back and forth. I have only been a patient for 4 months and had 2 visits with Dr. Vole. The front staff would benefit from offering better communication skills and customer service. I will no longer be a patient if the VCA Orange location due to the front staff.

Recently Ace ("him" and/or "his") developed anxiety and stomach discomfort due to our recent move to Anaheim. His upset stomach developed into vomiting and loss of appetite. We took him to VCA Orange ("VCA") thinking that the care and treatment we would receive would be the same excellent service we received at the VCA near our previous home. The VCA Orange staff and doctors have no consideration for the welfare of the animals and/or the animal parents who walk through their doors. The only concern on the minds of every VCA Orange staff member and doctor is to maximize the profits extracted from every animal parent who walks through their doors. To the point that they negotiate upfront the cost that is required to treat your animal, like you would discuss the cost of replacing your transmission with your mechanic. Animals are living breathing members of our families not inanimate objects. I would strongly urge you to reconsider when thinking of walking through the doors of this animal hospital. As a dog parent I consider my dog to be my child and expect my child to be treated and looked after with the utmost care. Animal parents are not dollar signs. VCA Orange does not exemplify behavior of which is trustworthy and caring. VCA only wants your money. Dr. Belinda Lee and her staff at VCA Orange are extortionists who pry on the hearts and miss fortunes of animal parents. If your animal is sick select another animal hospital to take your pet to. Best regards to all animal lovers. Don't fall victim to the VCA money trap.

Brought my dog in very sick I thought she was dying turns out she was having an allergic reaction to something and they were so great with her. Took her in on a gurney kept her over night and gave her all the medical attention needed. I was so happy to pick her up the next day as her energetic self again. Thank you to all the staff for their service.

After taking my dog here after he injured his toenail on one of his paws, I was immediately met with hostility from one of the nurses. Then, when discussing treatment options I asked for cheaper options as I am an 18 year old student and had to pay the full bill. The nurse immediately became passive aggressive and basically blamed me for anything bad that would result from not surgically removing the toenail and using sleeping gas. Since then, the nail fell out a day later and the dog has made a quick and easy recovery with only antibiotics in case of infection. So not only was I lied to about the consequences of not performing surgery, but this hospital also attempted to scam me out of hundreds of more dollars after spending an already absurd amount on antibiotics and bogus “inspection fees”. Avoid at all costs and go to your family vet if you can.

Brought my kitten and 9 year old cat in for a general check up and shots on two separate occasions and everyone was so so nice. Everyone from the staff at the front desk, to the vet tech and the vet were extremely helpful and informative through my visit. So happy to have found a great vet!

I had a great experience here for the first time. Appoint was on time, doctor made sure to go over everything with me. The staff were warm and welcoming. Ireland made the process that much easier, and my dog Max responded well to her kindness. Thank you!

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. I took my pregnant dog for a check up and she couldn’t tell me if she was pregnant unless she did an $300 ultrasound even tho she she was obviously due in a month. I was charged $80 just for a vet to suggest giving her puppy food. I tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt after visiting a few times but the service is very disappointing and to add expensive. Never again

Take your pet elsewhere...The vets do an outstanding job, It is the front desk girls on the weekends who show an attitude and clearly don't care about your pets. To them, it is just another day at "work" inputting data for things/pets they do not care for.

I recently moved into an area that made VCA Orange my closest pet hospital and I am so thankful for them. I have been a VCA client for years and have yet to have a bad experience at any location. The Orange location in particular has been so kind and supportive of all my pets needs. I have had all my little babies be taken care of by the VCA Orange team and everyone from the wonderful ladies at the front desk to the doctors themselves have always been such obvious animal lovers and the absolute sweetest people. I want to especially thank Dr. Reams for my most recent emergency visit; She was so patient, supportive, and reassuring. She messaged me when we were back home, post procedure, in addition to the hospital messaging me the next morning to check in on her. So much compassion and care on their part, please take your pets here, I recommend VCA to all of my friends with pets. PSA: They also accept CareCredit which lets you pay your vet bills, interest free! This saved me when I had a puppy years ago that got Parvo, probably from another sketchy vet place my parents took her to to initially figure out what was wrong with her, and VCA educated me on Care Credit. VCA even called me everyday to tell me how my little one was recovering, even if it was just to tell me minor improvements (extra VCA credit). Vet bills are expensive so I also tell my friends to just apply for Care Credit. You don't have to drop stacks of cash at the hospital, no interest, and it helps your credit score - I appreciate it!

I came for the first time with my baby girl. My doggy was 16 years old. She l had been with me since I was 14 and was the only pet I have ever had. Dr. Connelly was so gentle and empathetic. She explained all the options I had and wasn’t pushy about anything. I recommend doctor if you are looking for someone to give you babies wonderful care.

Friendly staff, short wait times. I take all 3 of my dogs here and wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else! Even during covid they have owners park in the parking lot and they come to get your pet.

I created a super long post expressing my absolute gratitude for this place and never had the chance to post. I'm a little short on time, but to sum up my experience here is like receiving relief from years of worry and distrust for the veterinary field. As an experienced vet professional I saw many things wrong with our industry and was terrified to bring my babies to anyone I didn't know. I have zero concerns with VCA, Orange. Dr. Belinda Lee, Dannie, Nikki Tice and the whole crew are amazing. It's very obvious that this hospital upholds their standards that they preach, it's very obvious that management is 100% in control and aware at all times. The communication is so amazing and the love for your pet will never be lacking. I can't thank this hospital enough for being the highest standard in care and helping me to regain my confidence in Veterinary medicine. Side note, my female pup usually shakes out of terror from visiting the vet, Not Here. I have seen some people post about tests being recommended, well, to explain that, if you want to know what's wrong with your pet, you OBVIOUSLY, have to do the tests. This is how your veterinary will make well informed decisions, like a human doctor. It's vital and necessary to do the tests, and I hope my easy explanation helps even the novice in veterinary care under that. You will not regret coming here!

Cali at the front desk was very kind and professional. The nurse that helped us out was extremely kind and helpful and even recommended stores and a website to register our pup for free. Very friendly environment to take your furbaby 10/10😄

On 10/25/2022 at 5:21PM I called to find out how much it would cost to get an allergy test done. Gal at reception said they do offer allergy testing but I have to make an appointment and pay $77.00 to see the Doctor to find out the price for allergy testing as they do not quote price over the phone.

If you are looking for a great Vet, keep looking. Customer Service starts with Front Lobby. Their Front Desk receptionist is extremely rude, she is extremely rude to staff ..by her tone i wouldn't even want to work here but bring my furry family. We usually get Kat which is simply the best but Dr Lee and the Front Desk are very rude and unprofessional. If Kat will open her clinic we will gladly go. For now we simply cancelled all appointments and went somewhere else. There are plenty of Vets around and plenty even cheaper. We didn't mind their fees even tho are a bit higher because we figure is best for our cats but NEVER AGAIN HERE
