have
had
consistently
positive
experiences
with
Dr.
Reid
at
this
clinic,
which
is
a
major
factor
in
my
continued
patronage.
However,
I've
encountered
significant
delays
with
the
Pre-Authorization
process.
Repeated
attempts
to
communicate
with
the
responsible
team,
both
directly
and
through
Walmart,
have
often
been
met
without
response.
This
has
notably
impacted
the
timely
receipt
of
my
prescribed
medications.
On
one
occasion,
I
resorted
to
visiting
the
clinic
in
person
after
weeks
of
unreturned
calls,
inquiring
about
the
status
of
my
Pre-Authorization.
The
delays
I've
experienced
have
been
a
source
of
frustration,
raising
concerns
about
the
efficiency
of
the
current
process.
To
improve
this,
I
suggest
considering
the
involvement
of
the
Doctor's
nurse
in
the
Pre-Authorization
process.
Given
their
personal
familiarity
with
patients'
medical
histories,
this
could
potentially
expedite
the
process
and
improve
its
effectiveness.
My
experience
suggests
that
the
current
system
might
not
be
adequately
prioritizing
the
urgent
needs
of
patients
for
their
medications,
as
evidenced
by
an
instance
where,
after
extensive
waiting,
I
discovered
that
my
insurance
had
not
received
any
Pre-Authorization
request.
Also,
the
success
rate
of
insurance
approving
preauths
has
been
very
low
in
my
experience,
and
I
wonder
why.
Streamlining
this
process
would
greatly
enhance
patient
experience
and
satisfaction.
