This was such a stunning place! I highly recommend you go here as soon as possible. They have some amazing plants to offer and all the best things for your plant care needs. They offer both indoor and outdoor plants and have trees as well. They have a lot of great decor as well for your home if you are looking to decorate. Definitely an amazing place.

Whenever I take a trip to Utah, my favorite place to visit is Sun River Gardens in Orem. The selection and plants are AMAZING. Nothing but the best! The indoor boutique section is incredible and I could spend hours just looking around. I’ve always been so impressed. But I am leaving a poor review after my last visit on the afternoon of Friday, November 5th. My mom and four sisters all gathered there to buy some birthday gifts. Our mother spent several hundred dollars that day. We had requested the two women at the planting kiosk to put together some amaryllis’ in pots. When we asked to plant it in a Christmas Tree tin, we were told it was for their Christmas DISPLAY. Then not 10 minutes later another woman brought out many more of the same requested tins in a cart! The young blonde actually got so mad when I asked to have an additional amaryllis planted in another tin with soil. I was so confused and shocked. Isn’t a paying customer more valuable that a DISPLAY? I looked for a manager to talk to rather than leave a scathing review. But I couldn’t find one. Maybe some additional training will help the staff with customer service.

Sun River Gardens is a beautiful place to shop for all things flower and garden. They have an incredible selection of unique foliage and planters, as well as home decor. The prices are a little steep, but the quality of the plants makes it well worth it. Customer service is great too. Whoever said Disneyworld is the happiest place on earth never walked through this garden shop. It's just beautiful!

My mom bought me an Azalea tree from here a few months ago. It is INFESTED with hundreds of aphids. It has been up stairs in my yoga room since day 1 and I live alone. When my mom called to inform the store and possibly get a refund or be able to return it, the store suggested we clean the tree and can’t she can’t get her money back. I tried to take the tree downstairs and outside to spray it off and tons of the bugs flew off into me. I will not be buying a plant from here again.

My addiction!!!! This store/ nursery is amongst my absolute favorites!! It has interior gorgeous home decor, holiday decor and the most beautifully cared for indoor and outdoor plants. I’ve purchased a beautiful outdoor fountain, metal archways, trees, pots, flowers , candles, candies, etc - everything is top notch! Their employees have always taken care of me and have gone above and beyond in helping me choose the right soils , etc to care for my plants. They even have information print outs for you to take home on caring for all different kinds of plants. This is THE BeST place to get your plants in Utah!! I just cannot say enough good things.

Sunriver gardens is a glorious place that is a treat for my soul. Whether it’s summer and I am buying plants and trees for my garden or if it’s winter during the Christmas season it is simply magical. It is always a special treat for the senses. The people are wonderful and so helpful. I can’t wait to go back because I always see something new that I love.

What a great store! So many wonderful offerings through the store that I never leave empty handed. The staff was very helpful today when I got to the register without a price tag on my purchase. They quickly resolved the problem and I was on my way!

Absolutely the best place in the valley to get yourself into the Christmas spirit. They go crazy through their store decorating and giving you ideas to create your perfect Christmas at your house. Beautiful plants, ornaments that will dazzle your eyes. Christmas trees from every size. They also flock trees. They also have a point system that every dollar you spend you get a point. Just in time for Christmas you get to redeem those points for 50% off your purchase. I’ve been shopping there since the day they opened. Go see what you’re missing.

It is just beautiful. Such an amazing place for floral creativity! They have the most unique ideas. We are always blown away! Love the gifts, the ribbon & one of a kind jewelry. I can hardly wait to bring my hanging planters in May for Their next amazing creations! Such talent!!

Sun river is a magical place to shop for indoor plants,quality landscaping, and holiday/seasonal decor. They even have a small section for kitchen and gourmet. Anything in there would make a really great unique gift. I'm happy any time I'm in there.

Sun River Gardens always has the highest quality products around! Every year I drive 40 minutes just to get our Christmas tree and pine boughs because they are so fresh and last all season. My experiences with customer service are always amazing and I never leave without adding a few items to my home decor as well. They also have the best ribbon selection!

I bought myself some indoor plants. And loved every minute of my time there. The girls helping me were so cheerful and attentive but not clingy. The plants were beautiful and variety amazing. The store is seasonally festive and made for a wonderful experience. My husband came with me and smiled the entire time, he was happy for me as I was in my element 🥰!

Did not put the correct time. They did not open the doors and it was time after. I don’t like when people don’t get correct times especially because I have to walk everywhere and you inconvenienced me. I updated to a five star.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sun River Gardens in Orem, Utah and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! All of their plants were beautifully laid out and they had a great selection of pots to choose from. The staff was mostly warm and friendly, which made the shopping process all the more enjoyable. The store has got a great style - it's modern yet inviting. However, there were a couple of employees who did come across as a bit rude and arrogant at times, which unfortunately brought the overall experience down a bit. Even with that aside, my visit to Sunriver Gardens was definitely worthwhile. I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars - highly recommended for all plant-lovers out there! FYI my son had my camera and was doing all the filming and narration, so enjoy 😅 #SunriverGardens #OremUtah

Always worth a stop at Sun River to browse for plants. I never leave empty handed. They have a decent selection of common to rare plants from 1” to very large. Sometimes you’ll find an amazing deal- like my 8” overflowing Njoy for $15

Great selection of Christmas decor. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Then we got to the checkout. It went downhill from there. There was a definite forced interaction. We had to say thank you to her as she handed our receipt to us and said nothing to us as she turned away. Very uncomfortable.

Incredible customer service & adorable products! I was getting a grave arrangement & the manager was great at answering all of my questions. Rachel potted my plant beautifully. They went above & beyond to make sure that I got something that worked for the environment it would be in. It’s already been a month & my plant is still doing great on the grave. This is my favorite nursery I have ever been to. It was more than I expected. Great selection of trees, bushes etc. Helpful and friendly staff. They have the cutest (large) shop inside. It reminded me of Gardner village. Adorable decor for all seasons!! The Halloween 🎃 section right now is 👌.

So incredibly disappointed. I spent hundreds if not more at Sun River last year. I bought two dog wood bushes and when one was failing went in to ask what to do. The person they called up said “well it’s like if you have two kids and one gets cancer but you don’t know why?” SERIOUSLY!! I’m thankful I personally don’t have a child with cancer and I hope she does not say something so incredibly Insensitive to a parent that does. She was pretty proud of herself telling me that her brother owned the place. Then the hibiscus I picked out and planted bloomed white and not pink like the tag said. Now I have a bush that I don’t care for but it’s alive so what do I do? I called to speak with the owner about these issues and he was out of town so I sent an email to Scott. Unfortunately I got no reply or phone call like I asked for. There are plenty of other green houses in the area that I spend my money at now.

I just love going to Sunriver Gardens. I am an avid gardener so I’ve been to a lot of nurseries throughout my gardening career of 50 years, and I have never enjoyed any of them as much as I enjoy Sunriver gardens. The personnel, especially Christine, are so helpful ! so friendly ! it’s a joy to be there!! I always buy plants I see that I had not planned on buying , because their selection is so wide and they’re so beautiful and they’re so healthy!! oh I think I’d like to get a job there!!! It’s a nice place to visit anytime of the year.
