Not a bad place to live. The downfall is they let anyone park in the handicap spots(Green Corolla and Silver Lexus) and the Subaru on the ramp.

This is the worst place to live. They hardly ever do anything about the problems you bring up and they put you with people who they say are “similar” but in reality it’s just people who they can’t put anywhere else. As a 21 year old I lived with a 37 year old man who didn’t shower or bathe. I messaged, visited, and called management so many times and they said they could not do anything to change the circumstances they put me in. The place smelled so bad all the time it was embarrassing to have people over. They are not reliable and don’t care about your needs. We also had a box of construction equipment that sat next to our door for almost a full year. They don’t take care of the property as well. Find a better place for cheaper. It will be worth it.

I've already lived at The Village for a year and I've absolutely loved living here! Just started a contract for another year. Being right next to UVU, the freeway, a Walmart supercenter, and a UVX bus stop makes the location perfect, not to mention the free shuttle to UVU. I have only had positive experiences with Katie, the manager, and the rest of the Village staff. They're enjoyable to work with, and make you feel like friend. Jared, a maintenance worker, is especially friendly and efficient and does an outstanding job. Work orders are resolved quickly, and they're always working to improve the apartments and property. By far the best student housing experience I've had from the various complexes I've lived in in Orem and Provo.

Great place to live and it's affordable. Management is very responsive to any concerns or needs. The place was recently renovated(last summer). It's pretty quiet. There is a shuttle that runs to UVU throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.

Overall I've had a good experience at VOP. Management is really friendly, has great communication through weekly emails, and is quick to send repair guys for maintenance issues. Here's my main positives and negatives: Positives: -Shuttle to and from campus throughout the school day -Monthly cleaning checks so even the messiest roommates will help clean -It's convenient to pay rent online -The units are all renovated and have decent appliances/finishes -Plenty of parking -It's in a safe area that's relatively quiet. Sometimes people will drive by with loud music, the train rumbles the apartments a lot, or traffic on the main road. But other than that everyone keeps the volume down. -Cashless laundry system (it's on an app that I like a lot) -Hot tub and clubhouse are really nice -Good size closets -Double sinks in the bathrooms are SOOO nice -RA's organize fun activities once a month or so -A bus stop is super close -Everything you need is pretty close. Two of my roommates don't have cars and they're able to get around to the things they need easily. Negatives: -General structure or appliance flaws. For example, our dishwasher leaks sometimes and doesn't shut very easily, our hot water heater went out for a little bit, and the kitchen sink backs up occasionally. Some of the finishes are poorly done. The paint around our shower is peeling and a lot of the outlet covers were painted over (also peeling). Maybe I'm being picky but I feel like the renovations were rushed. -This area of town doesn't have great outdoor spaces like parks, green lawns, or walking trails with trees. It definitely feels like a concrete jungle. Just something to keep in mind if you enjoy being outside when the weather is nice or going for walks. -There's a lack of space in the kitchen for having 6 people in one apartment. I wish they would provide a second fridge or even a mini chest freezer. We're cramming stuff in the freezer like it's tetris. -I don't think the bedroom carpets have been deep cleaned in a hot minute. For people with allergies to dust or mold, it might not be the best option. Or at least request that they wash your carpets before you move in.

VOP is great!! The staff is genuine and helpful. The renovations are so nice and clean. I like that the utilities are based on usage so you actually have control over your AC. If you need housing near UVU, live here:)

I lived here for a year and I was really disappointed in it. I had a shared bedroom with a friend and the amount of space you get is horrible. I mean I know it’s a shared bedroom but it’s just insane you can’t even fit a desk and a chair unless you want to climb out of your chair, because there is no room to back up and stand up. On top of this if you are on the side that the sun sets your room will get easily over 85 every time of year except winter. I mean I literally was sweating trying to fall asleep with a fan on me in nothing other than underwear. I am not even making this up either. The temperature was set to 74 as well. You have about two small cabinets of space, a very small bathroom where I had one small cabinet in there. On top of this when I had enough and went to sell my lease they said that person who took it signed the lease and everything. He ended up not actually taking the lease and village on the parkway did not inform me of this at all. I ended up paying more rent due to them not caring. I could have easily sold the lease if I knew but they informed me he signed the lease. I promise you every other student housing option is better

My granddaughter lives there. They are getting rid of handicap parking. They told residents they can park anywhere including handicap spots since spots are limited and they will no longer be handicap spots. I believe there are only two "enforced" handicap parking spots left. When we go to visit her, just random cars are parked in most of the handicap spots without any Handicap. Looks like they took down the handicap signs and are waiting for the paint to fade. Told her not to renew, if that's how they treat the handicap

Been here for a little while. The office is quick to respond to most concerns and are genuine in settling matters with residents. They are earnest and on-top of things The clubhouse is always a welcome spot to gather, the shuttle to university is very efficient The area is generally quiet, even while next to the train tracks. The neighborhood is situated in a good locale, being near gas stations, and a Walmart. Being close to the freeway isn’t too bad either when planning for holidays They have renovated the premises, and it has increased the appeal. Any potential negatives the property has lies with the individuals’ actions; but the front office is open to hearing the concerns. Thermostat or internet issues are sometimes present, but rarely have they been permanent- resolvable given patience and time Their expectations for personal accountability toward maintaining the apartment and property is beyond fair, even allowing time to make sure tenants can live in the best conditions possible. Overall, it is a safe and accommodating space; good for learning and living

The apartments are great and there is plenty of parking for everyone. You may not always be getting a spot right in front of your apartment but you don’t spend a lot of time trying to find a spot. After the renovations, the apartment are a lot nicer and modern. There is plenty of space in the apartments. I have 2 bikes and pretty much everything I own in my apartment and there still is plenty of space for everything. The staff is friendly and willing to help answer any question you may have to the best of their abilities. If they can’t answer it, then they will do their best to get that answer for you and reach out to you when they get it. Overall, this is a great place to live!

😠 FOR ALL THOSE CONSIDERING, THOSE WHO LIVE HERE, AND THOSE WHO JUST MOVED OUT!! I moved out in July. I was told security deposits would be sent out in the form of a check to a forwarding address. It took about a month which I had no problem with but when I saw how much I got back from my $250 I was c...

👍👍 The Aston is my first ever own apartment and I’m not gonna lie, it will be hard for me to get another one because of how amazing it has been for my wife and I living here. The location is definitely the biggest reason for me to pick The Aston. Everything you need is walking distance. The management...

😠 Parkway lofts overcharged our credit card by almost $1000. We did not remove our card from the auto payment option for rent, so they charged us rent AFTER we moved out of the apartments - after our lease was ended and we had already turned our keys in. Not a security deposit (that’s a different stor...

👍👍 I’ve had an awesome experience living at the green. It has great amenities and an easy commute to school. All the essential are within walking distance and the cherry on top is the personnel at the front desk. Dylan was a huge help and made me feel at home. He’s also witty and quick with a joke. Def...

😠 I was a resident at axis for a year. This has been the worst place I have lived by far.
