24 acres of fenced in playground they loved it. There are lots of gates and fences blocking each section so your pup can never go too far from you. There is open spaces with grassy hills, paths through wooded areas, and ramps for them to jump in the lak. Plenty of benches for mom and dad to sit and watch when they meet s friend they want to run with. We will be back! For the path to the lake stay far left into the trees over the hills there is a path to the lake at the end by the handicap parking lot. Or you can go through the woods also just stay left.

Our absolute favorite dog park, well worth the drive! Plenty of room for playing fetch or just running around in the woods. There's a doggy dock for diving during the warmer months too.

Wow. I was absolutely blown away. This dog park is HUGE. Trails, a doggie dock, and huge open areas. Restrooms, water bottle refills stations, and a dog hose area. Very inexpensive to visit and amazing.

This is hands down the best dog park. Huge, so you can easily move away from other dogs and people if needed. Also the dock is great, our pup loves to swim and he basically runs through the park to get there.

This is probably the best dog park I've taken my sweet pup to date. To be honest I think it's my dogs favorite dog park too! There are a few very large fenced in dog park areas that you can let your furball roam around off leash. There are gates that connect all of them together as well as a lake in the middle for the dogs to swim in when it's warmer. There are trails connect to the fenced in area that require you to keep your pet leashed. We were told the tickets you get if your dog is unleashed are around $50-$80. However, if your dog does get away from you while on the trails, you can feel safe in knowing that the entire area is fenced in and they cannot get to the road. I've heard the yearly pass is about $35 but I can only confirm that a day pass is $5 and you can buy it right next to the parking lot. There's an automated ticket booth that makes it super simple to pay. Credit cards are accepted.

Very cool place for dogs to swim. Like they have their own lake. We really loved it here

Wonderful dog park. Clean, many separate areas, and a water area.

  • 5/5 Eric L. 1 year ago on Google
Hands-down one of the best dog parks in the country. The amount of acreage available combined with the recently redone dock for dogs to swim off of are big draws to this park. Fees are also very reasonable for all that you are getting access to. Highly recommend!

This is best dog park EVER! Very well thought out, with designated areas for small breeds only and multiple, expansive areas for large/all breeds. They also have miles of scenic trails on site, access to water for pups that like to swim, and restrooms. FYI: you have to pay to park ($5 for a daily pass or $60 for annual).

Parking permit required $5 per day or you can buy a year sticker fairly cheap if there office is open there very informative, rest rooms on site doggy bags available to pets nice picnic tables lake for pets to swim very nice most areas are closed seems like for the past 2 years only half the park is open ... but seems nice must have visible current year dog tags on the dog at all times and 6 foot leash when entering and exiting its really well maintained all year long

We love this place! Wide open spaces enclosed by fencing. Some with trails through wooded areas. Some for just smaller dogs. There are picnic tables, benches, a little shade. Best dog park we have found.

Largest and cleanest dog parks I ever visited.

  • 5/5 Evan B. 3 years ago on Google
Great dog park. Many fenced in areas and a dog dock. There is also a lot of trails outside the fenced areas that you can walk your dog on leash.

We travel often with our pups and this is the best dog park we have visited. So many amenities, including a dock where water-lovers can jump into the lake. It seems like most owners pick up after their doggies and we haven’t come across any “bullies”. Worth the entrance fee!

  • 5/5 Jonathan M. 1 year ago on Google
Very well maintained park with low fee to keep it running. Water and bathrooms available during warmer months. Dock at the lake also seems well cared for. My energetic dog has plenty of space to get his sprints in away from the crowded areas. Most owners follow the rule of taking care of your own dogs messes in the less busy areas of the park. The busiest area may still require you to keep your eyes peeled.

If you're looking for a fantastic place to take your furry friend, look no further than this dog park! Here are just a few reasons why I think this park is absolutely amazing: Great amenities: This dog park has everything you need to keep your pup happy and healthy. There's plenty of space for them to run around, water stations to keep them hydrated, and waste bags so you can clean up after them. Well-maintained: The park is always clean and well-maintained, which makes for a pleasant experience for both you and your dog. The staff do a great job of keeping the park tidy and making sure that all of the amenities are in good working order. Safe environment: Safety is always a top priority when it comes to our furry friends, and this park is no exception. The park is securely fenced in, so you can rest easy knowing that your pup can run around and play without any risk of running off. Socialization opportunities: Dogs are social creatures, and this park provides plenty of opportunities for your pup to meet and play with other dogs. This is a great way for them to burn off some energy and make new friends. Fun for humans too: Not only is this park great for dogs, but it's also a fun place for humans to hang out. There are benches and shaded areas where you can relax while your pup plays, and it's a great place to meet other dog owners and make new friends. Overall, I can't recommend this dog park enough. It's a fantastic place to take your furry friend, and I guarantee that both you and your pup will have a blast!

Such a fantastic dog park! They have wooded areas, big open field areas and an area that has a great dog friendly dock for swimming! We LOVE it. Clean restrooms for the humans and a really fair entrance fee! What a gem!

  • 5/5 Terri B. 11 months ago on Google
This park has come along way. There are 3 areas for larger dogs and 2 for smaller. There are trails, picnic tables, shade, and benches. There are also lots of trash bins and poop bags for cleaning up after your puppies. Our dogs loved it today. So much to do and lots of friends to play with. And there are porta-potty booths and a park pass machine. Highly recommend 👍🐾 by human and dog ❤️

  • 5/5 Lydia M. 9 months ago on Google
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Please make sure to pick up your trash and don’t litter! You can rent the pavilion for $75 and it was very nice. Seniors and military can get a free park pass that is good for 7 years. Just FYI I wish they’d correct the address, because the dog park is off Joslyn road, not Clarkston Road.

  • 5/5 Jeff F. 9 months ago on Google
Great park. Tons of open space that's ultimately fenced in so your pup can't leave, but be warned some of those spaces are HUGE and your dog can easily wander off into the woods if you aren't paying attention. The dog dock is great, especially if you have a swimmer.

Came here for the first time today. We had never heard of this dog park before. We had no idea how HUGE and beautiful this entire park is!!! It is honestly the best dog park I have ever seen. The entire place is fenced in!! Which is super important for me, as my one girl is a big time runner. After I walked the perimeter, including the wooded trail area, and saw that it is completely fenced, my anxiety went away. My little 9 year old, old lady ran!! She ran so fast and had the time of her life! She played, she ran, she had the zoomies. It was like going back in time to when she was a year and a half old. I loved how much she was loving it. Another thing I really love about this park is, how clean it is. Everyone is super respectful, and picks up their dogs poop. There are multiple fenced in fields, that connect to one another, too. Will definitely be coming back!

We have not had any issues with other dogs. Big place with room to roam. Multiple play areas, designated specifically for Big or Little dogs. Swim area as well with dock on Lake Sixteen. Met many nice people here. Hopefully you'll enjoy the same.

Amazing dog park!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. My dog loves all the land to run around and the trails are a cool feature. We were told there is a pond in the summer & we are very excited to check that out!

  • 5/5 Suz J. 5 months ago on Google
Was unaware you needed an Oakland County Parks Pass, received sweet note. The cost $30 if Oakland C resident, $48 if not. But if you're 62+, it's Free!! Park very, very large so spacious room for like 30 dogs to really run. Clean up bags avail as well as water, I think - didn't use. Crazy big with rolling hills. Dogs can be separated, w large and small areas avail.

  • 5/5 Lisa G. 8 months ago on Google
#1 Dog Park! Look at that view of the wide open, green space for the dogs to roam free. We also love the wooded trails.

Cute park, I take my husky here and she always has a good time. Bring poo bags though please!

  • 5/5 Marit P. 3 years ago on Google
By far the best dog park in the area! We live about 45 minutes away but worth the drive. Clean and well kept, and in my experience the dogs we've met here are all well behaved and sociable. Only expense is a small parking fee, but well worth it!

  • 5/5 Kathleen S. 3 years ago on Google
Great spot for dogs of all sizes. Multiple areas for the dogs as well. However, if you are one to just let your dog roam and run and you stand, this is not the spot for you.

  • 4/5 Stevie C. 3 years ago on Google
Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Granted, ive never been to another dog park to compare it to but i do know my dog loved it. Its huge. Plenty of room for the pooches to run around and play and make new friends. There's also a dock that goes out into the water (duh!) for the dogs to swim. Its got slanted ramps for them to climb back up with so that's pretty cool. Also has access to local hiking trails that are famous, at least locally.

Pretty dang good dog park year round. Has a variety of areas for the dogs, as well as nice restrooms, and a dog dock. Plenty of garbage cans throughout the area. If you don't have a parks pass, be sure to buy the day pass, they will check. The park is also has a trailhead for the orion oaks county park in it's parking lot if you want to go for a hike.
