I’ve been on crutches for the last month and a half, not working and unable to do much. I started coming to this bar to get out of the house and I’ll keep coming back as long as they will let me in the door! I’ve never met a finer group of people! The staff has been absolutely incredible. So kind and accommodating. The regulars at this bar have been so lovely as well and I just think it’s really nice to have a place this close to downtown without all the annoyances. I couldn’t recommend a better local bar. Thank you Burtons! You guys rock!

Great place to chill, have a beer, and play some pool. The community here is unmatched - you never know who you're gonna meet! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed vibe.

Seen this place grow from a dive bar that only sells beer to now having a liquor license. So glad it’s still around. I’ve seen a lot of the other restaurants and bars in the neighborhood change, frequently.

If you're looking for some drinks and games ( pool and darts) then this is the place for you. One of the few places downtown that actually serve the alcohol you want and not putting cheap stuff in the bottle.

Food comes from next door, not in-house. Lots of atmosphere, but incredibly loud. Sit outside if you can.

Cool pub to come and chill. Bartenders are very cool. Place has many TVs for sports fans. There is no food served here, but you can bring food in from place next door. Cool vibe. Two pool tables and couple arcade machines. Come check it out.

Popped in for a quick drink, great bar and very friendly service. Good food options from the vendor next store although limited vegetarian options. Nice and cool when escaping the heat, sports on the telly and pool, darts and arcades for a bit of fun.

I Always come here because of the great drinks and atmosphere this venue brings. Had never eaten here, and boy was it good !! The portions are great The taste was pretty amazing I ordered the “Deviled Egg Smash Sandwich”, yummm , and the fries. 1st of all the staff here is all so welcoming, this place is in a great neighborhood, and for them to have a food venue next door that brings the food to your table is just the cherry on the cake. Definitely recommend, and it will not break your bank account.

One of my favorite places in Thornton Park. It's always a cool vibe of people hanging out and never any issues. Go see Brian next door for the best food on the block.

If you love heavy metal at all hours of the day this your place. Read the room. Music is awful at all times. This is Florida not Detroit. My goodness play some crowd pleasers.

Burton's is a badass bar. The bartenders are solid and the drinks are proper. Plus they have a pretty good kitchen next door that will deliver right to you at the bar.

Definitely a cool place to enjoy some cocktails, great food next door and fun things to play. Didn’t realize how popular it is. Nice mix of young and old patrons. Friendly and helpful staff

Solid bar with a nice outdoor area. Someone played chevelle's "the red" on the jukebox and I wasn't expecting that. It made for a good experience.

Been coming here for 20 yrs and it's sadly becoming a disappointment. Service needs attention. There were 3-4 bartenders talking amongst themselves, while ignoring good paying customers. So many people sitting right in front of them were waiting for drinks and they didn't even acknowledge them. When they asked for something it seemed as if they were bothering them. it's sad... Their heart just isn't in it. I get it... when you're a young kid it's all about your image, not the customers or people around you. But come on guys... Do you wanna make money or not? It's all about the people that are there, not your friends that you're trying to hook up or hook up with. LoL. Some day you'll understand. Good luck y'all. I wish you nothing but success! Everything you want in a neighborhood bar: great bartenders, nice location and regulars, plenty of tvs, plus darts and pool. My wife and I used to come here a ton when we lived in the neighborhood and still stop by when we’re in the area because we miss the weekly visits lol.

Amazing bar! Really up beat and great place to meet people. They have two pool tables and darts. The bartenders here are the best too, you are never waiting too long even when it's busy and make you feel ever do welcome.

Other bars were packed and decided on a whim to go here. Bartenders are great and the beer selection is fantastic. This is now a weekly spot to watch sports with some friends. Not to mention there is a burger joint right next door that makes great food.

This is one of my favorite bars. The people watching is great. It's a huge locals spot so if that's what you're looking for you found it.

Updated 6/6/2022 Ended up here for my birthday night out. We played pool and darts. They now have a full bar. The music was a wide range but i liked most of it. We had s great time. Thanks to Ray for taking me out. Let's meet up in Thornton Park and have a fun time, just let me know when. Original Post Okay beer selection. Your neighborhood bar that never seems to disappoint because your expectations are never really that high, St Pattys day was definitely one to remember here, with large crowds of people and still consistent service and friendly bartenders. Can’t go wrong with burtons if starting a night out or just wanting a casual drink in the evening.
