Cons: Bring your earplugs. This has to be the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. While I appreciate the fact that their is no carpet in the hallways or rooms making it more sanitary, they obviously did not take into consideration the noise that accompanies a family hotel. In addition, the walls seem paper thin as you can clearly hear conversations of you neighbors. When planning a full day at the theme parks, you definitely want to be well-rested, yet staying here you are constantly hearing your upstairs neighbors walking, moving chairs, dropping the toilet seat, etc. we also had the pleasure of listening to someone coughing up a lunch at all hours of the night. Pros: great location for Universal, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. Shuttle buses are clean and seem to be very running all the time. A big plus considering the price of parking at the park. Rooms are cute. Kids enjoyed the decor. Early park access. While nice, we only were able to go on one ride as they have so few rides open and so many guests in the park. Plus, when you didn’t sleep the night before due to the excessive noise, who wants to go that early. Summary: I wouldn’t stay here for again, even if they comped the room. With so many options in Orlando, I’d rather pay a little extra to ensure we are all well rested to enjoy the parks.

We stayed for my daughter's cheer competition. Rooms were average however the customer service was too notch!! The pool was extra nice and the had life guards on duty at all times. Only thing I would do differently is stay in tower 1 the amenities were a little bit better on that side. The food was excellent and at an affordable price. The price for the food was good and such a variety of choices. They have a small game room in Tower 2 it was fun. The shuttle runs every 10-15 to universal and the water park. I will definitely stay again!

The staff is super friendly here! The rooms are nice, and clean. We went as a family of 4 and stayed in a standard room because we knew we would be at the parks all day. It was very comfortable including the beds and I usually dread sleeping on hotel beds! The staff cleaned and changed the bedding everyday. I highly suggest the pier 8 market! It was so convenient for us to grab breakfast before hitting the park and then grab a late dinner once we returned. The food was great and there is something for everyone. The shuttles to and from the park were also so convenient and you never waited long to get on one to or from the park. The pool is great as well as the bar! Our day at Volcano bay was cut short due to weather but we came back grabbed some dinner and the kids were so happy to play in the pool on our last night, and we really enjoyed having a few drinks and relaxing at the poolside. The bar tender was also very nice and the drinks were delicious! I highly recommend this hotel for families who can’t swing staying at the more expensive locations or just want to be frugal as we did! You definitely get the bang for your buck here!

This Hotel is fabulous, the rooms are spacious, bright and immaculately clean. The Customer Service was excellent. Fiona at the front desk went above and beyond to make our trip fantastic. We didn't rent a car during our stay but the shuttle buses were always there whenever we needed them to take us to the parks. There are plenty of food options in the food court area with quick friendly service. The Pool is amazing, it's huge with sparkling water, palm trees, sand, It's hard to say Goodbye. We will be back though.

We had a brilliant stay here! Rooms were set out nicely, a decent size and were well maintained. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and happy to help out. Great pool areas which our little one loved, nice and safe with multiple lifeguards and tower 2 pool has a zero entry which is a great touch for younger kids. The food options at Pier 8 are brilliant, we found we ate here quite frequently due to the reasonable price for what you get, the speed of the service and amount of options available! Considering this is a value resort we were very impressed with what was on offer for the price we paid and look forward to staying here again!

We rented the three-bed room, which was great as it offered a smaller room for our younger kids to sleep while the adults used the time to unwind and prepare for the next day. The room itself was great as well, very, very clean and a good use of the space with a dining table and small kitchenette. The food options were solid, though we didn't use them a ton. Pizza was great. I will say if you're hoping for Starbucks you better give yourself like half an hour minimum because the line will be long. Shuttles to the park were always on time during our stay, quick and friendly as well. All the staff was great, and I loved how friendly everyone was. My only reason for giving it a 4/5 stars is because the walls were very, very thin. This is not the fault of the staff by any means, but I would not recommend it if you're a light sleeper. You will hear your neighbors, you will hear the kids running in the hallway, you will hear the baby crying down the way. It happens, I get it, but just wanna make sure everyone is advised.

Wonderful place! It almost feels like your at an all-inclusive resort. The staff was so polite. The lifeguards were on point, very attentive, the food in the cafe was delicious and with all the options you will definitely find something you like. My favorite was the freshly made yogurt parfaits, the chicken and waffles are also amazing. Every area stayed clean, and the free shuttle service was another great perk. This hotel has 2 large pools and a kiddie splash area.

My second week-long stay at this hotel. Great service! The buses were mostly on time and very convenient besides a couple times where there was a slight delay. Rooms were very clean and spacious, but the walls were a little thin and you could hear people talk in the hallways, and the beds were very comfortable but the sheets may be a little thin for people. The food court and pool were very big and excellent! Overall a great stay, especially with the price and amenities.

The resort is conveniently located close to the major attractions, has a good value for it's money and caters towards families with children. I liked that they have a few amenities that the kids and adults enjoy. My young kids enjoyed the huge pool, splash pad and game room and they frequented these areas a lot during our trip. I enjoyed the gym and Starbucks they have on property and service was good there. The things we did not like while staying there are that some of the staff were not as friendly, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the main restaurants did not have many options for my child who has multiple food allergies.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. We had a 2 queen pool view (room 1320)- it was clean comfortable and relaxing. No complaints on the room at all. The price of our stay was comparable to off property hotels(but off property you lose a lot of convenience and early park entrance). When coming to universal or Disney if I can reasonably afford to stay on property I do for the access ease to parks(convenience comes at a cost sometimes). We had breakfast at pier 8 cafe before checking out- good food. Is it the BEST, no but it’s good for hotel/park food. Check in and out was easy. I requested 3 additional pillows for our room and they were delivered within 15 minutes of request. Would definitely stay here again. The shuttle to and from the park was quick maybe 10 min drive. We never had to wait for the shuttle, got lucky w that.

Great price for 6 people over 11 days! The room we had was big enough & we loved having a table, counter, sink, microwave & fridge in the common area as well as sinks separate from the bathroom! We never heard any major noise & I personally loved having access to laundry facilities! Pool was clean & my youngest could swim in the entire thing. Access to the parks was also quick & easy! Would definitely stay again!

The staff all around was incredibly friendly. The pool area was laid out really well and the cat that lived there was really friendly (I wish I could have taken her home). The bartenders at the Oasis Bar were all wonderful. The lobby and Sunset lounge had a nice, comfortable set up. Having tables with electric outlets was great. The rooms were bright. The color scheme and flooring fit the theme perfectly. The only section that I was disappointed with was the food service. It was average at best and I felt choices were limited based on dietary restrictions.

Definitely a good place to stay when attending Universal theme parks. The rooms are cleaned with daily light maid service. The beds are firm and rooms are modern. The food is above average and not overly expensive. I stayed off peak season so price for the stay was good as well. The few things I recommend to add is having the ability to cast your device to TV added and allow your unlimited drinks cup you brought from theme park to work at hotel as well and not need to buy separate cups. The shuttle service is convenient and the pool is nice and big with great ambiance. Definitely will be my go to when visiting Universal again.

We had the best stay! The one room suite was perfect for our two children to each have their own beds and my husband and I to have our own room. The pool was wonderful with lots of lounge chairs and a great bar for drinks. The pizza in the cafe was delicious, the chicken salad, not so much. The shuttles running often was great! We hardly to had to wait on either side for transportation to/fro. Our vacation was so easy and relaxing and FUN!

Check-in was a very long wait due to the holiday but the staff handled it well. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was exactly what we expected and it had a nice view. The Cafe had a variety of foods reasonably priced. Shuttles seem to run constantly so we never waited long. We really enjoyed this hotel and look forward to returning.

Hotel served its purpose. Staff was very friendly! Randy at guest services made the check in process extremely pleasant, fast , friendly , and accommodating as I had requests . Exceeded expectations . I wasn’t expecting much considering it was a value hotel. It’s definitely a Lowe’s property! They never disappoint . Although a value hotel , it was still very pleasant! Thank you to Randy for making it special for my daughter’s birthday celebration & will be returning and hoping to see Randy excelling beyond the desk , as he made our trip memorable! Thank you for making our stay special . Recommending this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy the benefits of universal property at a value price !

We had the best time during our stay at Dockside. Upon arrival, the check-in line was LONG, but Dockside employees appeared left and right to make sure everyone was taken care of quickly. Audrey was so helpful at the check-in desk! She was so kind and patient and upgraded my party to a suite because she said we would have been crammed in our traditional room. We loved the hotel itself- large and clean room, Starbucks downstairs, overall great experience! Guest services were quick to respond and very helpful! Location is wonderful- buses are easy to use and so close to the parks. We will be back!

Located outside of the historical universal has pros and cons. It’s cheaper but requires bus rides to the city walk. Quality of the facilities is subpar to their other resorts, hence the price. Food court was great! Quality and quantity of the food is awesome. Pool areas are nice and well appointed. It’s a great budget friendly resort for younger universal crowd. Future stays will be back inside the Universal resort areas.

First time visiting Endless Summer, Dockside. I was impressed. The lobby is stylish, there's a Starbucks and heated pools! Need I say more.. because there's more, room was clean, very cute and spacious! And saving the best for last was the Amazing customer service! Gabriel at the front desk during check went above and beyond, super personable, helpful and funny, huge PLUS having a human experience! This hotel is lucky to have him! I will return to this hotel for sure. I thought this place wasn't going to be as good as Disney's comparable hotels but I'd say, I think it's wayy better! Food, service, amenities and rooms! Thank you!

Overall endless summer is a cheap place to stay, the food in pier 8 is adequate but more children's canteen than actual quality food. The rooms are large, clean and tidy with excellent amenities, the hotel is loud with children running down the corridors at all hours, people slam the room doors and they don't have soft close, you can hear the toilets running all around because the walls are thin. The transport to universal is a nice feature but it's often extremely busy forcing you to stand during the 10 minutes back to the hotel when your feet are already destroyed. Overall would I stay here again? No, probably not, I think it's worth saving and staying somewhere nicer, mainly for a bar area and nicer food options. There's nothing really wrong with this hotel, it just didn't do it for us. I'll put it this way, it doesn't attract the type of parents who have calm, polite children.

If you're reading this and wondering where I got such a fantastic room rate, it's all thanks to my secret spot. The platform has consistently delivered some of the best deals I've found. Best experience I have ever had with a vacation stay and resort. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and eager to help. Easy to interact with. The rooms were great and very clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff was fantastic, and my young son was so excited each morning to see them and let them hype him up about his day ahead. He could not wait to see them. The food at the establishments was great and the kids enjoyed that more than going into the restaurants around town and eating there because they were able to choose and had options that they really loved. The shuttles were quick and the drivers were safe and polite. The pool was clean and well staffed in life guards and security. 10/10 I would definitely stay again.

This was my second visit to this property, but the first time with our full family of 4. We booked the room with the extra bedroom, and it was perfect! The extra table with sink/fridge area is great for families to have snacks or sit and relax before and after the parks. Overall the property is very clean and well-maintained. And it's super convenient being so close to the parks whether you choose to drive or take the bus. We would definitely return.
