Significant collection of beautiful and well-maintained carriages and wagons. Many used for the rodeo parade every February in Tucson, Arizona.

I've been there twice now and I still enjoy it . Took the guided tour this time, learned alot more about the wagons and the old west. We'll worth the price of admission.

Awesome collection of over 100 unique wagons including surreys from the movie Oklahoma, cool chuck wagons with all the accessories, and a new amazing saddle display.

Very interesting place to visit! Lots of great Western history. We were lucky enough to be there on a day when one of the long term Committee members was there and took time to give us a guided tour and local history info.

I recommend this museum for anyone interested in learning a little history. Mr. Davenport and the young lady working were amazing hosts they shared some great stories and local history I really learned allot. I’m from the south and take pride in southern hospitality but I’m telling you these folks here in Tucson step up to a whole new level. I have never used Uber until today. Using the app you have to use your cellphone as most people will probably know. I did not even think about it so I ran my phone battery down taking videos and photos of the museum. Mr. Davenport gave me a ride back to my hotel and would not accept any payment for doing so. He even pointed out mountain ranges and the history of this beautiful valley. I shared a couple of photos but this museum is a must see!

I was able to visit since I volunteered for the parade. The western history here is rich and full of life. I am from the east and am happily surprised at how much I have learned and enjoyed the western culture.

Great local museum with amazing number of "rolling stock"! Wagons, surreys, buggys, great big to little!! Lots of history thrown in! Take the kiddos!! With luck, you will get to speak to Stan Martin, an extraordinary wealth of knowledge about the museum's contents!

Loved it but it is not heated or cooled, so plan accordingly. Very interesting, though!

I’m excited for the Rodeo! I just moved from California and we never saw anything like this there besides the Beaches and Disneyland. Follow my Instagram for pictures of the rodeo! Bigguy111600

Went to the rodeo, well what a sham. Not very many real cowboys anymore. Just a money maker for wanabees. A complete ripoff!

Lots to see and the tour guide was very informative. If you like old west history and artifacts it’s a cool place to check out.

Bring or buy here your Tucson Attractions Passport Book and enjoy a guided tour of the parade and its history. Suggest the guided tour as opposed to the DIY option. A lot more than what you might expect.

Great field trip for my 1st graders but it would be great if the more the kids through quicker and give only a few basic facts. They could look up the common core standards for the particular grade that the are touring. Great docents though.

While visiting my brother in Tucson we had the pleasure of attending the Rodeo Parade and Rodeo. I loved the parade and went a bit crazy with my camera, but I love shooting this type of event. Loved the young people, their smiles and was really impressed with how proud they are and I tried to capture that in my photos. Huge, colorful event - upbeat and some of the prettiest horses I have ever seen - all dressed up.

Awesome museum dedicated to so much more than just the rodeo parade! Great bits of local Tucson history, interesting artifacts from all over, and knowledgeable staff ready to give an engaging and informative tour (thanks Stan!). Highly recommend, expect to spend more time there than you think!

Horse-power museum! From the name you might think this is all about the rodeo - but it’s not. It’s a collection of horse-drawn vehicles, the largest I’ve seen. Many of them are in working order (you know, for the parade). They have the 1800s equivalents of cargo trucks, buses, expedition vehicles, sports cars, and limousines. It’s a real window into ordinary life in a bygone age. The highlight for me was the grand state carriage of Emperor Maximilian of Mexico, which was made in Paris and made its way to Tucson under very mysterious circumstances, decades after he was overthrown.
