Old, traditional tavern with delicious food a friendly sruff. Grilled octopus, salad and homemade fries were really tasty.

I went to Blue wave on a very slow day. It was a very enjoyable experience. The service was impeccable staff was super nice.good octopus, Greek salad and fish. All staff Wear masks even in the kitchen I was so surprised. 👍

We should have listened to a previous one-star review but we thought it can't be too hard to grill fish. But in this case - this restaurant, food is very poorly served. We ordered a sea bream that was very dry. Was it fresh? Hmm, I doubt it. We also ordered octopus which was a big mistake. Not only do they have to cut it to look like a large quantity and disguise how badly they cooked it, but it'll cost you 15 euros for newborn tentacles and wrinkly chips. How sad! They should feel ashamed of this if this is what they do for a living. Oh, they will serve you toasted bread from the supermarket and a lurpak butter that they think it's great for tourists. Also if you ever still want to try this restaurant and just like us thinking “It can't be that bad” go ahead. But I'm warning you that the disaster doesn't stop with your meal. Wait for the dessert. My kids said it tasted like medicine and my youngest one said, it tasted like a washing machine. Whatever that means.

The food is good. But staff is not going to make a good service. You have to wait for the waiter for so long and the waiters always forget what you have ordered. I faced with such a bad service three times and then decided not to be the client of this restaurant. It’s better to find another place. Although they have been working there for 45 years, they are not going to be in a high level.

What a romantic place!!! I had some red mullet, just wonderful. Directly on beach, sunbeds go extra. Recommendable!!

We went here recently for dinner and the waitress (a young woman) was extremely rude and made us feel really unwelcoming. She wanted to leave early so she made sure that the food was on the table really fast. So fast that we couldn't keep up. Before we finished eating she asked several times if we finished and started taking the food away while people on the table were still eating. She even brought the desert before we finished the main course. In all of our conversations with her she was extremely rude from the beginning until the end. The food was pretty good (but not excellent). It is a shame that she ruined the whole experience. We went there with a really good mood and left not wanting to go back there again. From what I've been reading on here, it seems that a lot of reviewers had similar problems with her. We are frequent customers and never had a problem since we always had another waiter (an oldish man) who was always polite and friendly.

Didn't eat as menu was quite limited for a light lunch, good beach side location so obviously prices reflect that... Be very careful if using their car park as it exits in middle of busy traffic light controlled junction, only no traffic light for exit so very dangerous.

Love this place for the old memories, always try to drop by whenever we visit Cyprus despite everyone we new having passed.

Not the nicest place but very nice food, just on the sea and in very good prices! We liked a lot their Tsipoura and jacket potatoe for just 11,50!! Very good service also!

We had multiple meals at the restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced <3. Great view, nice music, and very pleasant service! Internet Wi-Fi connection is stabile and has a good speed (25-40 Mbps) on the terrace.

Excellent location and fantastic Cypriot coffee - good facilities including sun loungers and public showers too. A nice little find, would highly recommend it.

We found a metal wire in the salad and when reported to the owner she didn't even apologize. The octapus we ordered was frozen, rubbery and tasteless to our surprise as every other time it was just great.

Food is good,service is very bad and very slow .The owner there is not polaite and disgusting. We order half hour before luch time and we wait another 1 hour to eat. About the rules covud19-masks inside are necessary only for Cypriots like I saw from my experience....🤔🙄 Never again!!!!

Friendly staff, amazing food and great location. Situated right on the beach you can watch people go for an evening dip as the sun sets. The food is always great, I find they do some of the best baby squid around! Their chips are also incredibly delicious! This restaurant is always towards the top of my list when I'm in larnaka.
