It
appears
that
the
Rib
Shack
has
changed
hands
as
a
few
things
have
changed
over
the
last
year.
The
main
change
is
the
menu.
No
longer
is
there
as
wide
array
of
ribs,
burgers,
and
other
dishes.
Where
before
there
were
a
dozen
burger
choices,
now
there
are
perhaps
8.
What's
more,
there
is
only
one
meal
that
a
vegetarian
or
vegan
could
eat.
I
was
expecting
one
or
two
fish
dishes
but
the
only
offering
was
a
vegan
burger.
I
was
a
little
disappointed
as
there
used
to
be
a
bigger
selection.
The
ribs
seemed
to
be
good
from
the
response
others
in
my
party
gave,
as
well
as
the
steak.
I
had
the
garlic
chilli
prawns
with
mac&cheese
and
chips
to
make
up
my
meal
given
that
I
don't
eat
meat.
Those
items
were
nice
and
we'll
presented.
In
terms
of
service
and
atmosphere,
we
had
our
lunch
on
a
Sunday
afternoon
at
around
3pm.
We
were
the
only
customers
there
aside
from
one
other
table
for
2,
which
arrived
just
before
we
left.
I'm
sure
it
livens
up
towards
the
evening
or
in
the
week.
However,
given
how
quiet
it
was
it
took
nearly
45
minutes
for
our
food
to
arrive
from
the
kitchen.
We
received
our
drinks
quickly
enough
and
were
offered
several
more
drinks
throughout
our
meal.
It
was
only
when
we
flagged
the
food
delay
that
it
suddenly
appeared.
So,
that
was
not
the
best
experience.
Once
the
food
did
come
out
though,
it
was
good
quality,
plentiful
and
well
put
together.
Again,
we
did
feel
a
little
disappointed
at
the
narrower
choice
of
food
on
offer.
The
staff
were
friendly
enough
and
communicated
well.
Given
that
they
did
not
have
a
lot
to
keep
them
occupied,
we
didn't
notice
any
inappropriate
chatter,
behaviour
or
anything
that
can
typically
happen
when
it
gets
quiet.
So,
hats
off
to
them
for
that.
If
you've
not
been
back
here
in
a
while,
I'd
check
the
menu
ahead
of
coming
in
(once
the
website
is
back
online).
If
you're
a
carnivore
then
you'll
be
fine
but
if
you
were
expecting
the
old
fish
and
salmon
or
even
halloumi
dishes,
they've
all
gone.
The
Rib
Shack
only
having
one
option
for
vegan/veggies
is
very
limiting.
In
terms
of
price,
given
the
more
limited
menu
I
felt
that
£180
for
5
people
(starter,
main,
chips
+
1/2
drinks),
which
is
£36
a
head
wasn't
extortionate
but
felt
a
little
high
given
all
the
changes
and
limited
menu.
Please
add
the
salmon
or
a
fish
fillet
dish
back
to
your
grill
menu,
and
widen
the
options
for
veggie/vegans
beyond
the
staple
go-to
vegan
burger.
I
promise
this
will
make
a
big
difference
to
the
general
comfort
of
your
guests
in
the
long
run.
In
summary,
a
nice
place
to
go
if
you
don't
mind
a
slightly
higher
than
average
price
point.
Limited
choice
for
non-meat
eaters
and
somewhat
slower
service
(although
this
is
based
on
a
single
experience).
Well
worth
giving
the
Rib
Shack
a
go.
I
would
just
temper
expectations
if
you
used
to
visit
here
before
it's
changed
management.
