McDonald's at Wickham road is a great place to grab a quick and affordable bite to eat. The food is always cooked to perfection and the service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and there is plenty of seating. I would still recommend McDonald's at Wickham road to anyone looking for a quick and affordable meal.

This Mcdonalds in a converted pub is large and spacious, with a drive through and plenty of parking. The food was as expected, the service was efficient, and the staff were generally helpful.

I have a mcds on my doorstep but we drive to here for the service and quality of food. Even if you take home food, it's always hot. The staff very helpful and the drive thru also there but I always go inside as less busy. However I gave 4 stars because the inside tables need to be cleaned more regularly as tables always full of others not putting their rubbish in bin. Lots of parking available. Wheelchair access also.

It's a drive-thru restaurant that was recently refurbished so looks great inside. Tablets (iPads?) and play area for the kids. Activity/colouring books(?), sometimes left on tables. They have touch screens for ordering food (but you can order at the counter if you prefer) but what sets this branch aside from the rest for me is that they also offer table service, where you can choose to have them bring the food to you if you order on the computer screens. Mixture of barstools and normal seats (some cushioned) Disabled access available. Car park can get busy and clogged up when busy, which can be a pain as you would not be able to get into the car park to park up or even get into the drive-thru which is at the back of the car park. Other than that, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is cleaned throughout the day and always clean when I visit.

Absolutely garbage. Went in store, ordered my food for me and my family. Drove back home, opened it to find half the order was completely wrong. Don't know how they mess orders up so bad so often but, this isn't the first time. Do better! employ people who can read orders!

Went through the drive through. The woman couldn’t get us off quick enough. Didn’t even let us finish Every time we breathed she just said is that all. Just relax. You aren’t that busy and you aren’t on commission for how many people you can get through a drive through

Boycott time guys. You fed Israeli soldiers for free while they clicked buttons. Not very child friendly. Takes away the meaning of a happy meal.

I use the drive through and the last couple of visits have put me off returning. I collect my food and drive to a nearby road to eat. The chips of late are not the temperature I would expect them to be and the other day my burger was cold. When the chips were cold the first time I thought it was one off but to happen again is disgusting. The chips at the top felt warm and there were cold chips, it seems mixed in with them.

A slightly more unusual internal layout with a variety of seating and tables which made for plenty of choice of where to sit. Very clean, attractive and varied decor. It was nice having the delivery people collect order in a separate part of the building out of sight of customers which make the seating area quieter, more relaxed and less 'busy'. Overall a better example of McDonald's.

Got served quickly - too quickly. Had to ask for them to make up fresh fries. Even the fresh ones were not that spectacular. Chicken burgers ok. Polite staff. Had better experiences in the past hence the 3 stars.

Drove into the drive through this morning and there was no queues. Eating my breakfast within 5 minutes of entering. There is a lunchtime offer in the Metro newspaper today, I reckon all the customers were waiting until lunchtime before visiting today

Used the drive through and there was no que, was served quickly and the staff were polite. Order was all there and all fresh!

Lots of seating available and had a strange layout but something needs to be done about the parking situation. Not enough spaces and it blocks up traffic when it gets overcrowded.

Just received my drive through order ..1/2 a cup of cold latte ..cold chips ...I literally drove 90 seconds before stopping to eat so McDonald's don't give me your mcrubbish response..utterly shamboliic service as well ..guy didn't know how to add custom requests ..always check your order with the drive through ..they couldn't run a bath !!

My little brother lives around there been in there for years very good service and ratings are amazing atmosphere awesome one of my favourite things to do is McDonald's breakfast lovely

The food needs attention hash browns are terrible full grease should be light and fluffy VERY EXPENSIVE please sort this out guys and all my points were dropped what a con it seems to me that mc Donald’s is charging ridiculous prices for sub standard food not happy stop ripping of your customers 20 year iv been coming to you guys and the breakfast is terrible what happened to the big breakfast for 1.99 now it’s nearly a tenner a day joke guys I am thinking of going elsewhere

The fast bit of fast food seems like an outmoded concept sometimes. I'm glad the kitchen staff all get on so well but if they could keep working whilst chatting it would be appreciated.

I made an order at 5:45 it’s now 7:30 and I have not received my order I’ve tried calling and no one is picking up this is absolutely disgusting service. Just eat is now saying delivery between 7:40-8 I ordered it @5:45 there is no reason for it to take over two hours to deliver “fast food”!!!!!!!

Extremely disappointed. Ordered food through McDelivery for the first time and the food turnt up cold, half portions size fries and drink. Mcflurry and milk shake was liquid (fully melted). When i tried to call them to complain the phone rung off. Would not recommend delivery from this branch.

Food took ages and then was dry and lukewarm. No tables had been wiped and none were wiped whilst I was there eating my meal

The car park here is the worst thing you'll encounter. The queue for the drive through runs straight through the car park so you can get blocked in but only for a few minutes. Still needlessly frustrating

Avoid. This restaurant consists struggles with the concepts of hot food and quality. Irrespective of whether the restaurant is busy or quiet, the food is regularly cold. Prepared food is tossed into a large box waiting to be served. There is no tracking of how long the food has actually been there so the likelihood of cold food is very high. It has been like this for years. Other busy restaurants can manage to serve hot food and dispatch delivery orders.

Last two visits to the drive through were disappointing. Couple of items missing first time... this time (today) ordered sauces... not really a big deal but also was asked st the delivery point which sauces and still didn't get the right ones... on top of that the chips didn't taste fresh.. like old cardboard (not that I've eaten cardboard) as we don't have macca ds often it's disappointing when the food isn't up to scratch... I appreciate they are rushed off their feet.. but still!!!

First time visit. Very busy, Service good. Decided to eat in as drive through was really busy. Enjoyed my big tasty meal with banana milkshake. Hate those paper straws. Go back to plastic please!

Really poor service. Made the order at 8pm and didn’t arrive until 9.30pm. When a driver was sent to pick it up they waited for 15 minutes extra for the food and when it arrived it was stone cold. Never had a bad experience here until now. Won’t be going back again.

Food delivered without drinks! Also no hot apple pie but paid for and with Uber priority delivery. Only for the uber driver that I called to let them know as call was not answered at the poppy he went and picked my drinks up but no apple pie. This is not good enough by McDonald’s staff! If I could get 0 stars I would!

Waited for ages for food. Like nearly 45 minutes. The staff were doing the best they could but I've noticed long waits at McDonalds recently so looks more like it's a management/corporate issue. I'm always bemused they call themselves "restaurants" when they are really just food outlets and not fast anymore and when I say food I mean something to eat when hungry that will put you off eating for a while.

Waiting 20 mins for the plant based burger. I understand that they were busy and had to make it but when we got them....they were badly put together and cold. Couldnt be bothered to complain because this is the 3rd or 4th time it's happened at McDonald's...just not going to go now.

Drive through can be hit and miss. They have improved the drive through wait times recently, past month, but prior to that I would regularly be asked to move on to a space. On several occasions I was waiting for over 10 minutes. This all started when they got the timing gate sensors.

A plain McDonald's, nothing special, but it could get improved, I have placed an order for 6 items, 1 was missing and 1 was wrong in the bag. I would have to say that the service was not as expected. If the staff places themselves in my shoes it is exactly like they would receive 33% less from their already low wages. They can answer for themselves if that would be an acceptable situation. There is a lot of space for improvement!!!!

Easily accessible from the road. All the usual amenities. Very quick pick up in store when using the app to preorder. Quite a calm, quiet restaurant when compared to others.

Drive thru breakfast this morning before I start for work, totally disinterested staff , rude and poor attitude. Sad really as usually the early morning shift are chatty and give a good vibe. For the record it's the 5 to 8 shift so whoever that rude guy was on the microphone...needs training and the girl handing the food....its not a crime to ask for sugar and a stirer!!!

Yet another McDonald's where online delivery and drive thru takes priority over customers in the restaurant. 16 orders on screen shown ready for collection at counter. Nobody bringing food or taking orders from customer for 20 mins. Drive thu window clearly being dealt with while whe stood waiting being ignored. Eventually food came and was stone cold. Food handed back and refund demanded. I will not be going back. McDonald's get your act together or shut your restaurants completely! Poor customer service

You can officially forget the notion of fast food, had really slow service her a few times as they seemed to prioritise the delivery orders over the in store orders, so today we tested it. Ordered the same thing for my wife in store and I ordered for a delivery next door, I got my food 10 minutes ahead of my wife, had enough time to walk across, come in, sit down and get half way through mone and then when hers turned up at the counter it was wrong. Really need to go back to the drawing board with your model mcdonalds, it embarrassing.

Ordered a breakfast meal for drive through pick up, long queue of cars when I arrived, so this was not "fast food" staff quite pleasant and amicable. Food arrived very greasy and oily. Sorry "golden arches" very disappointed bronze medal on this occasion!

No matter how many times you go there they will get your order wrong or miss stuff out… good luck understanding the person talking to you on the drive-thru they either sound like someone just died or they just don’t wanna work

Clean tables and loos with quick service. I liked that the scooter brigade of delivery drivers were separate from the main restaurant. Been in some like Sidcup where I have had to almost push my way through them to get my order placed. Lost a star as I asked for no cheese and it was still there even though the wrapper said no cheese. But, all in all, happy to call again when passing through.

Every time and I mean EVERY TIME I order food or go in and order they just can't seem to get it right. I can promise you at least 1 or 2 items wont be in your bag. Today Half of my order it's missing. Extremely bad service here. And the worst thing is its the only mcdonalds near me.

Worst McDonald’s around, chips are always soggy and never really hot, staff are rude and so are the managers. Won’t let me add cheese to my wraps either so weird, also charge 50p for the pancake syrup at breakfast when no other McDonald’s I’ve been to does
