There is so much going on in this almost-hidden park. On a map you might see a big field with a strip of trees around the edge, but there’s much more going on. The grassy main area is the size of several football pitches with a tarmac path all the way round that’s perfect for kids to bike / scooter on. It has two playgrounds, slightly annoyingly separated by the toilet/changing block. There’s also a nature space. The trees around the side are deeper than expected and verge on a wood on the western side with their own paths, separate from the main area. Two secondary grass areas are perfect of you want to be a bit more secluded, have a picnic under trees, etc. The park can be accessed from all sides via paths, though Longhill is probably the best for parking as you don’t have to walk uphill and it is closed off at the southern end, so quiet.

Lovely local park. Large open games area, children's football played at the weekend. Good children's play area. Coffee kiosk open at the weekend. Fabulous woodland walk around the circumference. Autumn colours have been spectacular this year.

Absolutely lovely park. Like the woods area surrounding the main park. Early morning walks are nice and quiet. There are few dog walkers here and there, but it depends on when you go. Busy at the weekends. Like the new gym area, would be nice if there were more apparatuses but can't grumble too much about the current selection.

We like the community here. The park is usually busy and the forest is nice and cool. Cycling, running, dog friendly, football pitch and playground for the kids and benches for the elderly. Lovely garden spots with special flowers. Highly recommended.

As my pictures show, the trees in this corner were damaged in Storm Eunice in February 2022. This corner is an enclosed park with two gates which is designed for dogs and training. You can let them off the lead and they can't run away.

Has all an open park needs; a great, leveled open space, clean toilets, snack bar, ice cream van and children's play area with obstacle course. Perfect 👌🏽👌🏽

My thinking ground, my place to walk around when I need to find clarity of mind. This is my local park which has something for all my favourite part of the park atm is the sensory garden and the parakeets seem to love it too. What a joy to have on my doorstep in this city.

Beautiful park! I lived near this for a couple of years but never went in it. I wish I had. Nice cafe, toilets, kids play grounds, table tennis, basketball court. Big field, woodland paths.

Love this place! I've been coming here since I was a little girl, they had a big circular paddling pool then... Memories ☺️ and now I take my own kids there, just recently built a new wooden playground area for under 5, big field in the middle for picnics and games and the surrounding areas are woodlands, a great walk with the dog.
