Good quality food very tasty, fast friendly delivery drivers best Chinese food around

Don't be fooled by the delivery time stated on deliveroo. I ordered at 19:57 and got my delivery at 22:22. I called the restaurant and just been told the driver is on the way. If you cannot cope with the demand just disable deliveroo rather than lying to customers.

Ordered a large sweet and sour chicken, large chicken chowmein and large egg fried rice and to our disgust we found not one but two hairs in the sweet and sour! 🤮 This is the second time we've ordered, we had no problem with the first-; we loved the quality and the taste. However, it is absolutely unacceptable to find hair in our food. Makes me really question the food hygiene rating and state of the kitchen- furthermore, are the cooks even wearing hair nets? Not impressed. Never ordering from this place again.

Food is always great here. Crispy pancakes are actually crispy not greasy. And the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Ordered 5 dishes it came on time but the special fried rice for my son was not warm at all, it looked like pre packed, stuffed into those take away container and microwaved for the customer! Definitely not freshly cooked, it was expensive and I have to reheat the darn food!!!! Will never order again from this place, probably it was a left over or cooked days ago! It tastes horrible! Not happy and will not recommend

Order - Special Fried Rice, Singapore Vermicelli Noodle, Satay Chicken (on the skewers) and Salt and Pepper Prawns. We received a packet of Prawn Crackers free of charge. Special Fried Rice - I found a little bland, the shrimps, diced chicken and roast pork I think was on the modest size but was fine for us as it was for my 7 year old son. Normally in the UK, I would expect to find green peas in this but was quite happy not to find any as my son refuse to eat them :) Singapore Vermicelli Noodle - packed with big chunks of white chicken, roast pork & shrimps and well flavoured with curry powder & seasoning. I would highly recommend for anyone who likes a noodle dish that is hot and spicy. Satay Chicken (skewers) - There were 4 skewers of chicken which look like chicken fillets well marinated in Satay flavour, at a guess I would say, it has been deep fried compared the the tradition ones which are grilled over a charcoal BBQ. The sauce had good flavour with lots of chopped peanuts which are often not present in many other take aways. Medium hot spiciness, as oppose to hot and the size of chicken skewers are very large compare to those you would find in the Far East. However I think the size and flavour is better suited for the local consumers here. Note : Satay chicken can come in a stir fry version as well so please make sure you order the correct one. Salt and Spicy Prawns - Generally I would have this at a restaurant as oppose to a take away, where you run the risk of a soggy batter. I was pleasantly surprise to find the prawns were relatively crispy, full of chopped red chilli's and fried onions. The portion size was as I expected, 9 prawns I think which is the standard number for most take away's here. Prawn crackers - They were fresh, still warm in the bag and tasted nice crunchy as expected. Overall my family of 3 (2 adults and a small child) were happy with our meal. This is the 1st time I have ordered from Sun Moon Lake (Taiwanese connection somewhere ?) and I would be happy to order from here again. I didn't realise but there are over 200+ items on the menu as I ordered from uber eat where all the dishes were displayed in thumbnails, compared with a standard take away of 80-100.

ordered and when my delivery arrived a dish was missing called the restaurant and was not believed they basically called me a liar and told me to contact deliveroo. despite the fact that deliveroo doesn’t deliver their food the restaurant they deliver it their selves i have not received my missing item or a refund absolutely disgusting behaviour

Ordered a delivery through Just Eat. Food apparently ready on time, then delayed because there were no drivers. I asked the restaurant to discard the order and cook fresh when drivers were available, but they put it in a hot box and sent it later anyway. By this time the crispy items were disgustingly soggy, and satay and ribs were dried out and tough as old leather. Picture of inedible satay attached. One of the mains, kung po prawns, had a repulsive smell, taste and colour, and was also inedible, photo attached, showing the strange colour, and the prawns uneaten in the bowl. Complaints to Just Eat were answered that this is within their policy, restaurants can serve food like this with impunity. They seem to have no oversight of their partner restaurants, and customers cannot expect decent food, delivered in an edible condition. The only recourse is to review the restaurant, to warn prospective customers. Complaints don’t seem to be read carefully, as the answers, although apparently authored by a named person, read like they have been generated by a chatbot, and don’t address the issues. Very disappointing.

Had a large delivery and ordered it at busy time. Surprisingly the food arrived very quickly, but that was where the joy ended. The food was barely warm and dishes were either tasteless or had quite strange taste of cinnamon. Really not worth trying unless you’re happy to bin it. Very disappointing.

The quality of food was poor, a premium dish that came at a premium cost that really wasn't premium.

Absolutely fire. Try the Singapore fried rice and the duck spring rolls.

Just git a delivery. prawn toast curled up and dry , satay chicken undercooked didn’t even look like chicken and the satay sauce yuk! tasted it and put the lid back on. Ended up just eating the boiled rice . What a waste of money So bad I should get a refund . Have taken photos

All food was vile. The worst Chinese I have ever tasted. Thoroughly not recommended. Duck rolls were inedible, lamb and pancakes overfried and had bits of bone in it and my chow mein was overly greasy and my wife's meal was oversalted and dry. Couldn't eat anything and will have to get another meal. Anniversary meal too!

I ordered noodles and special fried rice and all I could taste was salt. I couldn’t eat it. Awful 😞

First time ordering tonight very impressed. Food was perfect the noodles were not swimming in grease nice and dry. Crispy shredded beef was also delicious and spare ribs, pure meat which fell off the bone no fat on them at all. Large dishes exactly how it looks on the menu super fast delivery friendly driver great value for money highly recommended will be my regular Chinese from now on. 👌👌

Ordered last night, food stone cold. Chips were dry and all we could smell was grease from them. Noodles dry and overall very disappointing. I agree gone downhill.. Never er use again.

First and last time will order food from here, was warm, dry, tasteless. Will be going back to my usual Chinese. I only came here as I had a discount on uber eats. Wish I hadn't bothered. So disappointed!

Disgusting food, worst Chinese food I have ever ordered Special fried rice wet and soggy with chicken barely cooked, salmonella came to mind. Dry spare ribs anything but dry slimy fatty gristle, had to feed the dustbin with it.

Best Chinese takeaway in the Petts Wood Orpington area hands down. The food was delicious and the portions were generous and well worth the money. The delivery was quick as well and the food was hot and flavourful when it arrived. Chanced on this takeaway going by other reviews but was pleasantly surprised and I'm glad I did. Really hope they keep this up :) Definitely would recommend again and will definitely be ordering from here again.

Used to be good. Today was poor. Burned egg, oily vermicelli. Crispy shredded beef was crispy and had more onions than beef. Was impressed with this takeaway. Since October has been declining. Sad

What a greedy man, my ladyfriend has been ordering from there for six years, and has spent alot of money. The other night he sent the food to her old address (she had asked him previously to change the address on their website).when she phoned up an hour later, he said he'd sent it to her old address. Wasn't apologetic and said she'd have to pay again. Please don't line this man's pockets, he is nasty and doesn't deserve your custom. Plus his food has gone downhill.
