Walking in and smelling the food would have me give it an automatic 5/5 but the whole experience is 10/5 - I ordered online for pick up and arrived at the time my receipt said, the woman working the register was super apologetic that my food needed a minute or two more before it's ready (which was totally fine as the restaurant was full and she was serving tables, bussing, and taking orders), my food did come out maybe 90 seconds later and she was apologetic again. The potions are generous, the food reheats perfectly, everything tasted amazing, and its worth the cost. I can't wait to come back.

First time trying this place, decided to give it a shot based on the reviews. I ordered chicken fried rice, vegetable spring rolls and crab rangoon. It came with soy sauce packets and sweet and sour sauce. The fried rice had excellent flavor and they gave me a generous amount. I placed a carry out order and it was ready by the time I arrived. Definitely will be a return customer.

Food was good but they served my $27.77 order in a bag full of grease and then told me it's cause we order spicy. No it's because they served my box with a hole in it. The ragoons did t have no meat in them. I would like my order replaced. I called before I made this post and nobody was willing.

This place has the BEST moo shu chicken/pork/beef/shrimp or combo meat I’ve had in Shawnee, let alone KS. Seriously, try it. You will not regret it. My go-to favorite.

Love the fried rice and entrées here. Great price and portions. They are biatric friendly with soups and chicken satay

A friend told me about Moon Wok and said it was really good so I decided to try it. They have the normal meals you would expect. However not every restaurant cook the meals as well as they do here. It's all delicious. The portions are very big. The staff is always super friendly. If you want good food at a good price this is the place to be.

This is by far the best Chinese food restaurant in the greater Kansas City area! The food is authentic, seasoned to perfection, and FRESH!!!! The service is immediate, food is delivered in minutes and could not be better. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken combo plate. Crab rangoons were hot and fresh and tasted delicious. Fried rice is BY FAR the best at any restaurant I’ve ever had. You get lots of veggies and they are perfectly cooked. 10/10 recommend and will be going back again!!!!

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The service was very speedy and friendly. Our favorite items included the crab ragoons and the shrimp and chicken fried rice. Looking forward to coming again and trying more things on their menu!

Egg Foo Yung (Sp?) patty so small one was not filling. Not going here for this dish ever again. Food has nice flavor, but it is better to charge more than to charge more and provide less.

I'm sitting down eating as I'm writing this review. I got the lunch special, two moon combo. Very impressed with this Chinese take out place. Fast, friendly and delicious! They definitely use fresher and higher quality ingredients then other Chinese restraunts around and charge the same prices. I came in for lunch and spent $11 with a tip. My food was done in a matter of minutes. Everything came out hot. Portions are good in size.

Love this place, the food, and the owner. We would get food here almost weekly. This all changed a couple weeks ago. The food just isn't the same. It's sad we ordered it noticed the differences of it just not being good and thought it was a fluke. Ordered it again and was even more disappointed it was even less good. My wife called and found out there are different cooks. Please bring back the old recipes and old cook or at least better cooks. Thanks! We so miss the food here!!!

This place is great. Pay less for big portions here! The lunch specials are phenomenal, and this is the best orange chicken I've had at a Chinese restaurant. It's actually spicy!

I wish they would put spice levels in their food descriptions. This is the only place I can order something as simply and pork and mushroom, and can't even eat it without my mouth being on fire. I've tried this place three times, trying the typically most bland 'white people taste buds' thing, in hopes of it being different, and every time its way too spicy. Really wish there was a spice chart.

We dined in. Nice little hole in the wall place. AMAZING food and great value for the money. I liked the egg rolls but my kids didn't. Pot stickers were great and so were the crab ragoon. Chicken was a bit over cooked but still so flavorful on the sesame chicken. The lowmein was decent. The kids said they would get it again but that it was not the best they've had. We will definitely go back!

Hands down the best Chinese food in KC! The service was excellent and food was amazing. We ordered crab Rangoon, egg rolls, fried rice, Mongolian beef, and triple delight. Everything was fresh and delicious. I saw comments on here mentioning certain things were not spicy enough and I’d have to disagree. If you like spicy, order the Mongolian beef. Looking forward to my next visit :)

The food is fairly good here and the cashiers are always nice. The atmosphere is pretty basic. For some reason, they no longer have fountain drinks, which is a real turnoff for a restaurant.

The food is super yummy. They give you a ton of food so it's a great deal! Usually get this on Friday nights and have leftovers throughout the weekend.

This has to be the worst Chinese I have had in years. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken, crab Rangoon, and egg drop soup. The sweet and sour sauce was fishy, and both orders of chicken were SUPER dry. The general tso’s had a weird taste. The fried rice tasted like straight salt. Lesson learned with trusting reviews so hastily!

The food was pretty good. I think the general tso would have ranked higher if there was less breading because the sauce was good.

Moon Wok never disappoints. I've tried a different dishes and each time the quality of the food was amazing. I also love the portions. It's great for the price. The staffs are also super friendly with good vibes.

This has become my local favorite. Great food and great value. Plentiful portions, fresh and delicious flavors. My only minor quibble is their spicy dishes (such as Sechuan chicken) could use more heat, but that's easily fixed. The quality is consistent, as we've dined in and gotten takeout a few times, and every time the food is 👌

This place was willing to accommodate a large order about half hour before closing. The lady that took our order was extremely personable and she was understanding about our spicy preferences. Food was delicious, my family from Malaysia thought that it mimicked food from home. The portion sizes are good. I’d recommend this place 100%.

Had house lomein. Not good. The meat (except for the shrimp) was old. Honestly that was the only bad thing about it. I get that they serve yesterdays stuff sometimes but this seemed like more "last week". Not sure what happened because I have had great lunches there before

I have never received a fortune cookie without a fortune in it before..so there’s that. My Pepsi was diet when I ordered Dr. Pepper. My Crab Rangoon tasted old along with my egg roll. I ordered the Honey Chicken and the sauce tasted fine, but the chicken itself was dry. The fried rice was just okay. This was highly disappointing and I’m offended by the food that I received. I’m curious if you send out old food through your delivery because that is the impression I’m left with. Please treat paying customers (people) better.

Best Chinese Restaurant in Lenexa, hands down! Price is good, service is GREAT, and the entire order was delicious. Her kids brought the food out to my car, it was the cutest. Crab Rangoon was the best I have had in a long time ( plus she snuck in extras). I’m so happy and full.

Found this place by chance. Portions are huge, staff friendly, and the food was fresh and hot menu plate order. No buffet but you'll have plenty left to take home!

Good Food served hot and fresh to the table! We all ordered a Dinner combo with Crab Rangoon and Egg Roll. We tried the Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken all was excellent. Friendly attentive service and clean!

This is probably top 3 Chinese in Kansas City, it's always good and reasonably priced. I havent got anything I didnt like. They are always quick and friendly when I go to pick it up.

This is absolutely the best Chinese in Lenexa/Shawnee. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed. Pork Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Pork and Chicken is an absolute must. Its hit or miss with some. But these guys have perfected everything. Love this place.

Absolutely fast, clean and friendly service. Delicious Chinese food, cooked perfectly. This place is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Dragon inn and China inn are my favorites too. I love and appreciate our Chinese Chefs in Kansas. Thank you so much and we will be back many more times!
