Awesome club, had a lot of fun... Locals and foreigners are partying hard, highly recommend. Dj U-ta has an infectouous energy!! Entrance was 800 yens + free drink Is a smoke friendly venue so you may go home smelling like cigarettes

I got kicked out of the club because I made out with a girl. I understand that we are asked to wear mask all the time but the staff was so rude. Even though I apologized but he didn't listen and acted very rudely. That was so embarrassing. They should act more professionally in handling the situation during corona virus!

I was at Kitsune Kyoto last night partying all night, arriving there at 9 pm because I had brought some members of InterNations which is an international expat community. Our members want to experience Japan’s nightlife. The 4th floor was having a crazy fun party atmosphere the whole nite. We took many picture. The 3rd floor was more down to earth 😂 but it did have its crazy fun moments from time to time. I know it because I was going from floor to floor all night making sure my guests were having fun. And they were. Occasionally, I grabbed some food from the buffet on the 2nd floor, orange slices were my favorite. This floor has a bar-like atmosphere, (if they can lower the music on that floor a tiny little bit until 2 or 3 am that would be even perfect, it would be like ‘a bar within the night club’ where you can chat for hours. I find most of the bars in Japan, quite noisy, they should decide if they want to be a bar or a night club. ) Around 3 am we were about to head back home so we were passing by the 2nd floor again, for the exit, but we couldn’t go home, we were drawn back 😂there was a totally different type of party going on in there where the male DJ would talk through his microphone creating a warmer, friendlier atmosphere. He did it with a female DJ, I personally enjoyed watching her because we don’t get to see many female DJs around. The club was closing at 5am but a sweet Spanish tourist brought me a drink at 4:55 which I couldn’t drink because I had already had enough😂 Over all, it was a Totally FUN Night!

Had the first opportunity to visit Kitsune Kyoto, must say it was stunning place with great vibe and beautiful music. Can't hold to move your body there. Drinks are relatively cheap and crowd is young and vibrant and friendly. The security is good and they are very accommodating if you don't behave rough. Can't wait to go there again. This event opportunity came from internations Osaka and Kyoto group hosted by Beru. She's awesome.

I went to this club briefly and a staff member was trying to get through the crowd while she was holding a heavy box. I put my one arm out to move my friends out of the way and then I put my hand on the staff to signal to her she could move forward since the music was loud. Even though she was holding a heavy box, she took one of her hands and wiped the shoulder I touched like it was dirty and gave me most angry look. I’ve lived in Japan for over three years and I was not treated like that before. I just wanted to help since I used to work in restaurants and clubs back in America. I was wearing a mask and I wasn’t drinking. I only went to this club because my friend was interested in dancing with a guy. I felt pretty humiliated and left shortly after. Thanks.

I'm UNABLE to give ZERO star. Went there on a Friday, asked if we could go outside and まいけるさん, a staff pointed at a sign that was poorly translated and said it was ok to go. Firstly, that sign makes no sense, neither the rules. When we came back in, we were told to pay 700yen for a drink ticket. Why pay for a drink ticket at the entrance when we had already paid an entrance fee (¥1000?) WE ARE ABLE TO PAY IT! We are not angry at the cost, just the situation. But rubbish is rubbish! What is the difference between getting a drink ticket at the front and going straight to the bar for one? Why do we need to get it at the front after re-entry? We never used the previous drink ticket nor partied. It was after long deliberation with the manager, he told us it's ok to go inside. He understood us and we appreciated that. Come on guys, people will buy drinks when they are respected and happy in a club. Don't make it hard for your customers and please get someone to do translations for the signs. Another thing, start checking bags and stuff before some of those people enter. Thank you!

For a nightclub, it does play the earworm songs that have made its way to the Japanese audience however, it's a fun place for foreigners and locals to get to know each other. Thank you to Beru San for inviting even the shy girls

I’m a black American and I loved my experience here. Everyone was super nice and they play American music and pop. There are 2 floors upstairs they play pop/Japanese music. Down stairs they play English rap/pop. Great vibe and friendly staff. Good drinks. I went for new years!

Was not expecting much but I was gladly surprised by the club! They have two floors with different music but the upper floor with pop and disco dance music was definetly my favourite! People were very lovely and you will meet and dance with some great people there (at least in my case). Would come again by the next time I visit Kyoto :)

I did not know what to expect going in, but we had a lot of fun here. Mainly, I was surprised how affordable it was.

Good edm, anime, japanese music, kpop, and top 100. Staff is interactive passing light sticks sometimes and encouraging ppl to go up on stage if there’s no railing(which was up one night and gone the next). I wished there was bay area hip hop. Obviously do not take off your shirt. I think the club closed an hour early because someone did but the dj was still nice.

Nice mood, nice music but not very social distancing friendly, more like a covid cluster in waiting

Cool vibe, very friendly to foreigners. Different levels for different music tastes. Worth a visit if you're in Kyoto 🖤 Notes: Lockers for 300 Yen Is a smoke friendly venue so you may go home smelling like cigarettes

It’s a decent club for what it is. Multiple floors but they are rather narrow which is to be expected. However be prepared for strong cigarette smell. The smell was stuck in my clothes for two washes

First time in Kyoto, this place came highly recommended from a friend. Overall good experience. Musics, and crowed were fun. Minus the fact they charge for water. I spent close to 10,000 yen just getting bottles of water, so my friends and I didn’t dehydrate. While the staff provide cups of water… for others. I from NYC and have been to several bars and nightclubs. Not many places charge for water. A place changed almost 1000 yen for water is quite ridiculous. Avoid if you like to drink, and like to hydrate at the same time

Awesome experience, great drinks at affordable prices. The hip/hop DJ on the 3rd floor was immaculate and the 4th floor DJ was even better. Best place in Kyoto if you’re looking to experience night life in Japan.

AMAZING night!!! a group of us went out not expecting anything, but it turned out great. For foreigners they have a great deal of paying the cover price and you get 3 free drink slips. The staff is very nice and respectful but helpful when needed! The vibes were great and surprisingly a great mix of both locals and travelers hanging out. The Djs were great and they even brought out drag queens and dancers through the night. Very clean as well and located right in pontocho! Felt very safe :) would love to go again !!

It was my first time. It's a nice club with a lot of floors where you can enjoy the genre of your choice. There are a variety of drinks and the music selection is good.

Anti Foreigner. Will charge you extra if you speak English or ask any questions in Non Japanese. They will make up a reason to kick you out if your skin tone is too dark for them, though only after you have payed. Stay away from this place unless you are asian and speak perfect Japanese. The racists here will not tolerate westerners.

Beruiwasina was very kind in informing us about the foreign entry day. The information saved us about 1,200 yen and the entry was smooth. All we had to do was show foreign resident proof! The club was a vibe and the people here were so kind and fun! Would recommend this place as it is pretty nice.

Got a free drink for this review, still honest: we had a blast. Great time. Cool people. Good music. Drinks could be better but they’re okay. Very fun night indeed! Many foreigners though! If that is good or bad is up to you!

Extremely foreigner friendly do not hesitate one minute if you are not japanese. Large bewerage selection from soft to head destroyer. Good music, good dj, perfect Bass, and great dancers, this is the place to be at night 😁😁

Pretty mid, I don’t know if we came on a bad day but the dj mixes were kinda garbaje. The atmosphere on the other hand was present. Will come again to see if we got unlucky that day.

Great place to party!! Nice music (current + hits from 5/6 years ago for Europeans), cool people, free for ladies before 10pm weekend (11pm weekdays), young crowd (20-25 mostly). Had lots of fun there!

Foreigner friendly, great tunes, very wide array of drinks available and a nice VIP area. Entrance fee is a bit steep though hence 4 stars.

Came on a Thursday night shortly after 11 but the doorman gave us the before 11 prices so I paid 700 yen including a drink ticket which was pretty much break even. Drinks at the bar were fairly priced and generous pours. The first floor hip hop room was dead all night, but upstairs the electronic floor started to get fun around 12. They have small circular tables on the dance floor but even with them there's enough room to dance. Foreigners seem to be the most lively.

As a foreigner, I only had to pay 700 yen to gain entry and got two complementary drinks. The club is quite spacious, it gets lively past midnight and they’ve got VIP tables for the lot coming in groups to celebrate. Overall great club with pretty nice members of staff. I highly recommend it.

Had a really cool time on a Thursday night, relatively packed around 11:30pm. Welcoming to foreigners and they gave us a discount since it was going to close in a few hours. 1000yen for males and free for females. Good music. Would recommend.

First time here. Quite nice. Several floors with different music. Make sure to read the ads carefully: the nomihoudai stuff is just for certain time frames. Other than that, no complaints, will get drunk here again.

The #1 spot in Kyoto for club experience. Not only good on Friday and Saturday, but also had a special party on Sundays. Whenever I go to Kyoto this is my go to place. It has 3 floors offering different types of music and vibes for everyone. Definitely a place to check out.
