A very nice and grand hotel with long history and well liked by local people. A very nice place to have wedding party and banquet . Very spacious room and large lobby , beautiful garden and chapel for wedding . Not too far away from the station, about 7 minutes walk . Has 5 restaurants and I have tried 3, they serve very good food and the breakfast is good , They also have a salon in the hotel and I heard it is very good too. I think only very traditional and big hotel will have a salon on site, It's sad to know that they may close down for business in a few years time. Hope it will not come true.

We stayed one night in a triple room. The location is very convenient, near a monorail and a subway station. Our room was very quiet and we had a good night sleep despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle of a very busy town. The hotel was opened in 1970 for Osaka Expo and doesn't look modern definitely and rather a little old-fashioned, but we enjoyed the Showa-era historical atmosphere very much. The room was very clean and well-tended with a bathroom spacious in the Japanese standard. The amenities were amazing and we liked the skincare kit especially. The hotel stuff was very polite and helpful, accommodating our various needs. We will definitely come back here when visiting Osaka, although I heard that it will be demolished in a couple of years. Osaka will miss this great hotel of the Japanese Gilded Age.

I stayed in this nice higher class hotel for almost two weeks. Every time I entered the hotel I was welcomed with a friendly smile. All their facilities were always very clean and new. They also have about four restaurants to choose from and a nice pool site surrounded by a garden.

A bit outdated and in need of certain renovations, but great location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. When we called for a taxi the next morning, two staff members stood at the street for over ten minutes to make sure the taxi came to the right location. They also helped put our heavy suitcases into the taxi and saw us off. In summary, hotel facilities 3/5, hospitality 5/5. Would come again for cake.

Hotel is located short walk from Senri-chuo shopping precinct and metro station. Hotel had been operating for over 50yrs and facility is bit outdated but I loved the retro/vintage atmosphere here. Customer service is excellent, cleaners and front desk staff are polite, professional and welcoming. We booked twin room which was spacious and clean.

A very comfortable place to stay with a nice breakfast buffet and a great traditional Japanese breakfast. I only wish the pool was available to guests at all time and for free, rather than on inconvenient times. The local swimming pool is quite a way from the hotel (by foot) and it was incredibly crowded when I visited.

A small hotel that has really good and friendly staff. Some rooms location might get confusing but the staff are helpful enough to help. During the summer, the beer garden event is held around the pool area. It's a nice place to hang out. The rooms are clean and well-designed. The overall feel is a classic vintage hotel. The location near osaka monorail and underground train is awesome for adventurers.

Went there for the beer garden in the summer. Do those of you who don't know a beer garden is all you can eat and drink for about 3 1/2 hours including alcohol. The food was good but not outstanding but you usually get cafeteria quality food at any beer garden. Importantly it's by the pool and makes for a very relaxing way to spend the evening during the summer.

There are people who can communicate with polite customer service, English and Asian countries. Since it is easily accessible from Itami Airport, this hotel is recommended for those who fly to Japan the next day rather than picking up a hotel in Umeda or Shinsaibashi.

Stayed while on a business trip in the area. The hotel has solid wifi at no cost. Rooms are relatively soacey for Japan standards. The hotel itself has a nice historical feel. Odd large key, which the front will gladly hold for you while out. Very easy place to stay short term.

The air conditioning is set hotel-wide and the room is HOT. The hotel rents fans. Absolutely ridiculous.
