I went to Coast Dental for a referral for wisdom teeth extraction and instead was in there for two hours for a new patient exam and they came back with a proposal of $3,000 worth of treatment unrelated to my wisdom tooth. They insisted I come back in the next day for a cleaning and when I did, sat in the chair for an hour, the hygienist said she had to go do someone else’s cleaning and had me sitting there waiting in the chair for another 45 minutes. After all was said and done, I didn’t end up getting my cleaning that day. Instead they sized my gums for “trays” (that I still have no clue what they do) and feeling pressured, paid over $500. When I called asking for a refund, they said they can not issue me one even though I didn’t go through with any of the treatment. I wasted $500+ and got nothing out of it. I feel extremely scammed. I did not want a $3,000 proposal for dental treatment, all I wanted was a referral. They tell you to contact their quality assurance line and when you do it’s new patient scheduling and every time I ask them to redirect me to their quality assurance line, they have no clue what I’m talking about.

You made an appt and wait for more than 1 hr after your schedule time. I don't think I'll get back there. I left unattended because of that. And the ladies in front desk had a not very nice attitude either. Thank God there is plenty Dental Offices Sorry but very bad first impression. Not recommended at all...

I went for a inicial consultation, which I was told by the office that was fully covered by my insurance. I waited 1hr and they finally told me that they had issues with their equipment and I had to schedule for another day. The disrespectful action to make a patient wait and not be seen was my first impression. I decided to give a second chance and I went on the rescheduled day. I was seen for the inicial covered consultation, however, they billed me $90 with extras codes in the claim to give me an estimate of $1500 for a regular cleaning. It’s just about money, they lie about inicial consultations and coverage to charge you after the poor service is done, and they also overcharge for services specially if you have insurance.

Do not waste your time coming here. I waited 1hr and 30mins for a scheduled appointment. After asking how much longer, I was told 5mins by the receptionist. Waited another 15mins and still nothing. Why schedule appointments if you can’t follow a schedule or even share updates to your patient. People were being called in even though they checked in after me. Will be better off somewhere else.

Customer service was excellent. The front desk assistants were extremely nice, the hygienist was very informative. I had the pleasure to get my teeth cleaned & the entire process I was informed of every step & checked on several times to see if I was ok & or experiencing pain. This was the best experience I had at a dental office in 30 years. Kudos to every staff you’re greatly appreciated. Thank you for providing great service

Dr. Vergara has a skillful and gentle touch, her caring nature and professionalism helps lower my stress and I’ve never experienced any pain during or after procedures. Rafael explains each step and answers any questions I have. The whole staff is friendly and supportive, overall great experience.

My molar cracked on a Sunday night. On Monday morning I went to my dentist office as soon as they opened in my town(poinciana) and they turned me away. I explained my emergency and the pain I was starting to get and they still said NO I contacted Coast Dental and the manager Marilyn was very helpful and attentive and understood my concern and said I can come as a walk in. I gave her my insurance information and by the time I made it to St. Cloud my insurance was verified and I did not have to wait long before they called me in and took X-rays. The staff was very friendly, staring with the front desk, X-ray tech/dental assistant and of course the Dr C. She was very attentive and gentle she listened to my concerns and did an amazing job. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I will be returning for my permanent crown and most likely I’ll be moving from my former dental office to COAST DENTAL.

Although we had a long wait, the hygienist thanked us for our patience. She listened to my concerns and gave helpful advice. She took the time to explain the care plan and made sure we understood how to use the dental supplies provided.
