😠 This place is not a good idea to live in! honestly for 675 a month , you can find somewhere better. You basically live in a jail cell and walls are so paper thin you can hear everything going on. But anyways, my experience at severn court was horrible. They had no way of matching people up to the on... I have lived at Severn court for over a year now, and honestly i quite enjoyed my stay here. -I find the residence staff to be super helpful and friendly to me all the time, - The on campus maids do a fine job in ensuring that the places we live in are clean. -If you're like me and order packages online often, its hassle free to pick it up at the office. -I've had some appliances not working from time to time, like my oven, but one quick email to Severn court and they had a guy come in and fix it charge free. -The internet is not as bad as people say it is. I actually find it to be super fast and have never had a major problem with it -Some people may have a negative experience, but as long as you treat the place you live in with respect, you will get nothing less back. - Most importantly, i had fun. I've meet some wonderful people here that ill probably be friends with for the rest of my life, and nothing can beat that. P.S. i go to Trent university, and i find that the rent here is a lot cheaper then some of the houses around Trent. if you're going to Fleming its only a 10 min walk away from the main campus, if that, which is a pretty big convenience if you ask me.

This place is not a good idea to live in! honestly for 675 a month , you can find somewhere better. You basically live in a jail cell and walls are so paper thin you can hear everything going on. But anyways, my experience at severn court was horrible. They had no way of matching people up to the ones in your program, just put you with random people. I was fortunate enough to have 2 roommates I ended up getting along with really well, however we had one roommate who constantly made threatening comments and Benjamin did nothing about it, even though I gave him a 3 page typed notes of every event that happened and he said it was not enough proof. That goes to show that severn only cares about money and not your well being or safety. Such a money grab, stay away.

I wish google had a option to give zero stars Anonymous for obvious reasons I was forced to choose Severn Court as I moved to the university at the last minute. On the basis of the advertisements,i assumed it to be a decent place to live. However,I soon realized that looks can sure be deceiving. For starters, the place wasnt cleaned properly when I moved in(the carpets stink and it is impossible to walk on them without shoes).Six tenants are expected to cook on a stove that is slanted and poorly cleaned. The fridge given to us was broken and very small for 6 people. The rooms itself are extremely small and lifeless with one small tubelight that isnt luminant enough for the room.I wasnt expecting a master bedroom-esque room but wasnt expecting a cell either (Im a young student not Ted Bundy). I study social justice at my university and it wasnt tough to notice that they had all people of color in a single building. There are no ACs in the units. The walls and floor is thinner than paper and the parking is 500 dollars which is outrageous. The "basketball court'' flooring reminds me of the roads in most third world countries.

Not a place to stay as the rooms are dingy and dark not much air circulation. The rooms are too small and over priced. Staff is not responsive with any solid answer, they are very particular when the payment has to be done from customer side. I have been emailing them and also been on telecommunication about my refund but no response this is very disappointing. Neither they are providing a time line nor are they providing any guidance. I am still waiting for my refund since the month of May.

It's moving day for my son today and I'm walking through of noticed that this place has not been cleaned.. Kitchen counters are dirty their stuffed up to them there's food still on the kitchen floor the vent alone is disgusting. There is some weird stuff in the pictures on a wall outside the kitchen, and the bathrooms in both of them there's urine and stuff on the toilet still under the bowl the one sink is really gross there are toenails or fingernails probably toe on the floor in the bathroom around the toilet and on the dining room chair.. The carpets are stained throughout the suite the walls are all scuffed up ... and much more. Not happy leaving my kid and his roommates with this mess.

I lived at Severn for the duration of my two year program at Fleming and those were two of the best years of my life. I met some of my best friends here, one of which I actually live with now - 3 years after moving out. "Old Rez" was like a home away from home and the managers, Ashlee and Stephanie, were fantastic to me and my roommates. I actually went on to work as an RA for them in my second year and that was easily the most fun I've ever had in the workplace. I work at another college residence now and I wish I'd known what other residences were like when I was at Severn because there were a lot of things we got to do there that the students where I am now don't get to. I was treated like an adult, given privacy when needed and support when asked for. There were events held constantly that kept me able to socialize and get out of my room whenever I wanted to and the staff there (even before I was one of them :p) were always easygoing, approachable and very good at what they did. If you're thinking about where to live when you come to Fleming, you should really give Severn Court a shot. I was hesitant at first too but I'm very glad I did :)

I think severn is a lovely place, though it was quite dirty upon move in, and there’s some chips and burns on the counters and everything. Nothing some elbow grease can’t fix. One thing i have a hard time with is how expensive it is for what you get, the rooms are quite small and again the place is a bit dirty and definitely had some love beforehand. The hallways also don’t smell the best. The parking passes are quite expensive as well, and i can almost never get parking next to my building. The staff are very friendly and do what they can to help, repairs take awhile sometimes though. There’s a/c but it doesn’t work, i think for the price that is paid for rent, the a/c should be able to be used But other than those few things i think it’s a great place especially if you get roommates that you get along with well.

It's undoubtedly one of the most affordable student residence in town. It's close to many bus routes. So one need not worry about missing one.

@dreamscafe&bistro.. within 24 hours of moving to peterborough became my favorite place to spend time with classmates , friends and roommates. Its a great place to chill , have great conversations or do some work. The proprietor Gin... is amazing always so pleasant and friendly, always helpful, kind and professional... never gossiping. And knows his regular customers ,regular orders.

Lived here for nearly three years while attending Fleming and overall found it a very nice place to live. Interesting roommates, fairly convenient access to groceries, and within a short enough walk to the college albeit one that can still be fairly slippery in the winter, and a short walk to the wellness center for whatever exercise or sport (badminton in my case) one enjoys. Friendly staff to boot makes this a fine substitute for college dorms in my book.

This student housing facility is in an excellent location if you're wanting to be close to campus, stores and great places to walk/run/cycle. It's very safe - I was never nervous jogging on the paths in the area. I also loved the fact that everything was included because this is not easy to find in student housing.

A decent place to stay, particularly for students out on their own for the first time, or those experienced with living independently. Staff are friendly and maintenance/repair services are punctual. The buildings are all laid out essentially the same so wherever you end up, you’ll know your way around, and the courtyard/communal laundry areas are generally well kept and appealing. As for the living space itself, the suites have shared living area and kitchen spaces that are fairly conducive to living and sharing with others, as well as two bathrooms meaning sharing with really only two other roommates in that regard. The rooms are compact, but more than enough for a student to have the essentials; bed, workspace, mini fridge, closet, etc. They also all have lockeable doors. My only major complaint is the lack of A/C in the buildings, making personal fans/cooling units essential in the warmer months as the rooms do get humid, particularly on the top floors. Other than that, Severn is a pleasant and affordable place to live.

I'm giving a 3-star review because I honestly had a good experience for the 1st stay. However, I finished my 2nd was awful. I would not recommend anyone to live here unless it is their last resort, or they are a people person who is good with telling others what to do. If you aren't in those 2 categories, I'd honestly walk an hour to get to school and live out of town. Your stay depends on your roommates, if you have great ones you will be fine. If you have bad ones. You will wish that you lived in a cardboard box instead. Buildings Management is fine. I never really had an issue with them. But whoever decides on 'charges' after you leave has to be on some sort of power trip. Extremely disappointed with being charged 40 dollars for a chair that I left in the living room by accident, on top of a 'mattress' fee which says 'too dirty or too clean'. You can only have so many people sleep on the same mattress before it gets stained. Especially since I'm a big dude in the furthest room from the AC which did nothing to help me cool down. I wish the best of luck to people who want to move there.

I lived at Severn Court for only 10.5 months and I cannot stress this enough. Do NOT live here. Do NOT send your kids here. I cannot speak for RA staff as I have never had an issue with them, but the manager of the complex is on a complete power trip, the buildings are filthy, and they have SEVERAL insect infestations of varying degrees. Initially I did not have a problem with my original apartment, but my roommates were horrible and abusive. I was quickly moved into another apartment with roommates that I now consider my friends even after I moved out. I was very happy with this, and was hopeful that things would work out and that I would be able to resign my lease for the coming years until I finished my BA. Unfortunately, I had to break my lease after the appalling living conditions and lack of adequate action to rectify the situation. Severn Court has an ongoing cockroach and bedbug infestation. This has been going on for months and the situation had gotten so bad that there were several cockroaches found in broad daylight and bedbugs crawling up the walls in my apartment. If it were just bathroom mould due to poor ventilation or poor lighting and lack of space due to the amount of people assigned to each small apartment, I would have stayed and dealt with it since the housing market in Peterborough is so poor. However, for the outrageous price per room, and the disgusting living conditions, it is not worth it. Do not live at Severn Court. Especially if you plan on having visitors or want to go home to visit family. You WILL spread cockroaches and bedbugs to other buildings due to the inaction taken by management.

Great management and staff! Coinciding with all inclusive utilities, Severn provides students with the 8 - month leasing option allowing for cheaper rent rates compared to other locations.
