Love having a park so close and with so many things you can do depending on your mood. A free zoo, a swimming spot, plenty of climbers for younger kids, plenty of beautiful places to walk, run or bike. Places to sit in a chair and read a book or just watch the things happening on the lake. When I need to get away from the noise of life, and don't feel like driving far away, I'm very glad I can just steal away to a nice place like Menominee to reset 😁.

Was a very nice small zoo. Had beach behind the zoo and a very nice playground. Would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect little zoo. Also love the free admission. Went before noon animals were very active. 2 awesome parks and small beach area all in walking distance.

Our visit was brief. Pretty nice area with free zoo. We saw different animals and birds. Giant turtle was moving from outside under supervision of zoo keeper back to her designated area. We watch big vulture kind of bird and not far in another area familiar big turkey. They had fox, donkeys and more. Good place to bring kids.

Kids love the new playground. Best to go during the week to beat out the crowd. The zoo is always a treat and the beach is icing on the cake.

Cute little zoo, had great time with kids. Playground looks amazing, will have to plan more time next time to check the playground out.

The place looked a little run down, but I'm not complaining because it was FREE. Yup, that's right folks, Menominee Park Zoo is a free zoo. However, the animals looked like they were well fed and they were also very calm which says a lot about the workers here. That's 5 stars in itself. I've also included a quick video on Google about this place, so hopefully it shows up. Anyway, if you're in the area, check it out!

Pretty nice for a free zoo. Plus after the zoo you can head over to little Oshkosh (play area) or the beach. The biggest hit is the petting area. The kids love to feed and pet the goats, sheep, donkey and mini horse. Today the wolf was walking around. Didn't see any otters. Got to get right up to the turtle (tortous).

Animals are well cared for. Several exhibits have a display that gives you more information about the animals created by a local Girl Scout, which is just so cool. Bathrooms are clean and always stocked. And it's free! Doesn't get much better than that.

Great little place to visit. They have a few exotic animals which are neat. Donkeys are friendly, but they will bite. Donkeys have big chompers and they love food!

Great zoo, adorable and well maintained. There are not many animals but it's FREE and fun for the kids nonetheless. There is also a great park across the street. Highly recommend. The only reason I gave 4 instead of five is bc of the amount of animals but otherwise no complaints.

Took our Grandkids here on a hot summer day. They loved the park and enjoyed playing in the lake. I didn't go swimming in the lake. It was very fishy smelling and not really liking lakes much for swimming anyways, that really turned me off. But, as I said, the kids really had a fun time.

Is an absolutely beautiful park. I haven’t been to the zoo yet but I’m sure going to be going soon. I found lots of gorgeous places to sit down and relax. The park is set up beautifully with lots of open areas. Lots of space to walk around with the animals. It has a natural beauty that I enjoy.

Love this park. Has equipment for both little and bigger kids. Also has a small workout area for youth and adults. And it's close to Lake so u can dip your toes in on hot days and has a sandy area to let kids play and make castles, search for sea shells etc. And added bonus free zoo is right there and has a snack/gift shop . Love this place so much to do with kiddos

Great park! Attended the 16th annual Battle on Bago. Great music and great entertainment. Awesome tournament too. Didn’t win a truck this year but we’ll be back next year.

Very happy we decided to stop in. My first time here was spectacular. There wasn’t a lot of people there, so I didn’t feel bad taking my time. It’s a cute little zoo with huge future potential. The future plans for this zoo look amazing and will definitely get my donation along with more visits. Nice to bring the entire family for a quick zoo visit. We spent around 30 minutes here and didn’t spend a dime. Great addition to a lovely Saturday.

I have come to Menominee park for decades now. Awesome park with a nicely taken care of zoo. They give the playground area a fresh look every few decades. Looks great. They have a little train you and the kids can ride around the park. Soccer fields and fire works for the Fourth of July!

It's a small zoo, but being free as well, is a wonderful experience for the kids and adults too, and for those pooped out parents it's not all that bad of a walk around, The otter was adorable, the kids loved it, always love coming here so grateful and appreciated to be able to come there, the nostalgia for the kids was happy, funny memories and cool since it's been a few years since they went

New playground that is currently my kids all-time favorite! There is play equipment for all ages from toddler to pre-teen, so they all enjoy it! The free zoo is also a fun spot to walk through, not always exciting, but it is clean and beautiful. The smaller animals are always the best part and the most fun to see!

Neat place to walk around and enjoy an afternoon with some animals.

The park itself was fantastic. Lots to do and great structures to play on. However the company that was there was horrible. It was a lot of teenage kids who were cussing and climbing inappropriately on things, which was a great example for the young children. There were also adults who were playing tag with their children, which isn't bad except they we're running around like maniacs, jumping fences, and not being safe around the young children at all. My daughter was playing in the toddler area and almost got run over twice by adults, jumping fences and almost running into us. I will not go back to this park just based on that.

Great place to have a day filled with variety. After doing a couple laps around the zoo we go to the amazing park across the way and take a dip in the lake if the heat gets to be too much. Many fun memories have been make and so many more to look forward to.

Took my 2 and 6 year old. It was the perfect size for them! Also, it was crazy how close we were to the animals!

Wonderful place to visit. Just a small zoo...thats full of education and fun facts! Peaceful like you are in a different work. Different programs every day of the week. Great place to stroll around and feel the slow pace! A must to experience at least once!

All of the animals were where you could see them. The zookeeper we spoke to was very nice! The only thing that kept this from 5 stars was the water in the wolves area. It's nasty. I hope they have clean drinking water elsewhere.

Super cool place to visit. I plan to visit again the next time I am driving by. The otter was my favorite animal there, the albino llama was really cool too. Too many other awesome sights to list them all!
