One of the top, if not THE top tourist attractions in Oslo and justifiably so. It's absolutely amazing and every single sculpture is a true masterpiece as you can see in this review. Highly recommended!!

A fascinating and enthralling park in the city of Oslo. The sculptures in the park depict every aspect of human life - young, old, male, female, angry, sad, heroic, emotional, pensive and more. While the sculptures are naked, they do not appear vulgar or crass. It was a worthwhile two hours' walk around the park to appreciate the art pieces

A huge park with lots of walking and biking trails, and grassy areas for relaxing or picnics. Also, the central part of the park is the Vigeland Park and sculpture garden, featuring the largest garden collection of sculptures in the world. Park entrance is free. There are several subway and tram stops nearby, and it’s about a 10 minute ride in the tram from downtown. Be sure to visit while you’re in Oslo!

Sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy, The Monolith and The Wheel of Life. Vigeland was also responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park, which is one of Norway's top tourist attractions, with more than one million annual visitors. The park is free to enter and open all year round, 24 hours a day.

Best collection of granite sculpture by a single artist that I've ever seen. It's a credit to the people of Norway that entrance is free and open to everyone. Note that loads of group tours (cruise passengers) appeared mid-morning, but early morning was a lovely stroll with locals jogging and walking their dogs.

This was an awesome stop on our cruise ship excursion. Containing a number of sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. As it says in Wikipedia: Gustav Vigeland occupies a special position among Norwegian sculptors, both in the power of his creative imagination and in his productivity. Much of that imagination as well as productivity is on display in this park.

My goodness! The sheer size of the park with its art installation is a must visit for anyone who likes calm, peaceful walk. If there is a rainy moment, even better! Carry your raincoats , try and spot swans, squirrels and not to forget the endless flower display. The air is so fresh that you can’t have enough 😊

Great place to walk and relax. Lots of plant life and sculptures from the famous Gustav Vigeland. Be prepared to see a lot of phallic statues, it's Europe.

The most beautiful park I’ve ever seen from all our global trips. It has very powerful messages of art. It was absolutely epic to see jaw dropping sculptures installations by Gustav Vigeland in bronze and granite. You can take the hop on hop off tour bus here, local line 12 tramway or bus route 20 and enjoy art and nature in the park.

It gets too crowded sometimes in the center. It could be useful to explore the entire park to find some good spots to sit or take pictures. Generally, there are naked sculptures all over and some of them are quite famous

It was really nice experience. There are a lot of statues and sculptures. We went in the evenings but still there is good visibility and we were amazed by the talents of artists. Entrance is free and it is connected by bus and tram lines so you can easily get there from Oslo. Also there is a nearby car parking.

Expansive park with some deeply moving sculptures and other downright weird ones. Park is free to visit. The sculptures show a wide range of situations and many show a lot of emotion. The craftsmanship behind them is astounding within itself. Definitely worth a visit.

An excellent park full of valuable sculptures in the heart of Oslo. Everything is very well cared for and preserved. Ornamental plants decorate the environment, and a great water that calls for calm. Besides, a very well placed coffee shop where you can take a break after 11am.

Beautiful park you can walk around for free. There's a huge playground onsite for children as well. The statues are fun to look at, it's a bit of a walk but it's mostly paved. Enjoyed my time there, can't wait to go back!

Large park in the centre of Oslo, filled with sculptures - a FREE outdoor art gallery. Kept vlean and tidy, plenty of green spaces for games or sunbathing. Big climbing frame and swings for the kids. Restaurant at the entrance overpriced and poor value, so take your own snacks/lunch. Maybe try the one in the centre of the park, it may be better.

Frogner park is Oslo's largest park, covered with statues of sculptor Gustav Vigeland. Accessible for free, is kept clean and busy with a fair amount of tourists. The park also has the Oslo Museum, which, at our time of visit, lot of tourists skip. This museum is accessible with Oslo Pass for free.

Interesting sculpture park to walk around and have great views from the top via walking up stairs. There was a mini concert in the part when we attended so I guess there’s occasional events held. Tram stop rights in front of it.

While being there I wasn’t sure what to feel, there was so much in my head and it wasn’t all good ;) After visit I was reading a lot about the artist and his art and understood more his visions. I recommend to gather some information before you go there. Size of the whole installation is huge, I can’t imagine process of planning and making it to be real. Inspiring and making to think.

My visit to Frogner Park was a delightful experience filled with natural beauty, intriguing sculptures, and a refreshing open-air ambiance. The park's vast expanse provided ample space to explore and unwind. The park's standout feature was undoubtedly the impressive waterfall, which added a touch of grandeur to the surroundings. The sound of rushing water created a soothing atmosphere, and the sight of the cascading falls was a sight to behold. The park's well-maintained flower beds added a vibrant burst of colors, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. It was a joy to stroll through the park, surrounded by the pleasant fragrance of blooming flowers. The sculptures scattered throughout the park were intriguing and sparked curiosity. While personal taste may vary, I found them to be an interesting addition to the park's artistic character. One sculpture that stood out to me was the crying baby on the bridge—it evoked a unique emotional response and left a lasting impression. It's worth noting that there is a small fee to access the park's restroom facilities, priced at 20 NOK or $1.85. While this may be an inconvenience for some, the fee contributes to the park's maintenance and cleanliness. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Frogner Park. Its combination of natural beauty, captivating sculptures, and the opportunity to enjoy fresh air in an open setting make it a worthwhile destination. Take a leisurely stroll, appreciate the artistic expressions, and immerse yourself in the park's serene atmosphere. In conclusion, I found my experience in Frogner Park to be enjoyable and enriching. The park's stunning waterfall, lovely flowers, and thought-provoking sculptures create a unique and memorable visit. Don't miss the chance to explore this gem and discover its artistic charm for yourself.
