Pretty average pizza. Service is nice and some speak Italian so it feels authentic. But we were a little disappointed because this place has gotten a lot of hype.

Very friendly staff; great vibe. Completely full at 5pm, so expect to put your name down and get a drink elsewhere. Carbonara was very good but not excellent which I had been expecting.

Perhaps it was the jet lag or perhaps it was good pizza…the food was good. Having eaten in Italy last week it was a good time to compare. It’s not as good but still good. The crust on the pizza is a little too thick and the sauce didn’t pop enough but I’m being picky. It was good. We walked in with a party of 5 at 13:30 and was seated right away in the back. Our server did a good job and was prompt and nice.

Great pizza, pasta and desserts. Really good quality on the food and the restaurant has a nice vibe. Somebody may find the place a bit crowded. But I feel it got the right vibe and with lots of friendly smiles. If we had got our food at the same time, and not just 3 out of 5 meals due to some misunderstanding by the waiter, we would give this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars. But we’ll be back soon for a second try!

We were well accommodated as we didn’t originally book so we’re put in the waiting list. Thankfully, we got seated a short wait after and had a wonderful time. The pizzas are all completely fresh, and the pesto pasta particularly was extremely tasty. Would recommend! The service was slightly slow but our waiter gave us a discount and free drinks, would definitely come back again. Worth the wait by miles!!!!

One of the best pizzerias I've ever visited. Extensive range of traditional offerings - all of them can be made gluten-free (I'm a celiac) and the service is fantastic. The prices are extremely cheap by Oslo standards, and I always come back here every single time I'm in Oslo. Would really really recommend.

By far best Italian cuisine restaurant in Norway. Recommendation came originally from a very picky Italian. A true breath of fresh air in Oslo!

Brilliant Restaurant. We needed to wait outside for a place inside and it didn’t even took 5 minutes till we had our place. Everything clean and the atmosphere.. typical ITALIEN. Only 10-15 minutes till the pizza was there and it was as perfect as everything else. This is a restaurant for a nice rest evening in the capital of Norway.

The place is really nice, you can sit outside by small table with view on the road, great option in good weather. Although pizza was good but nothing more, I expected really good Italian style pizza according to other comments, but the pizza had definitely too much cheese, the tomatoes and other ingredients were delicious and good quality, except one sausage that seemed a little bit off, but this might be just my taste. Overall it’s definitely a good place for a good quality pizza in Oslo, but it’s far from a top shelf Italian style one.

Stumbled upon this place one evening working in Oslo. The place had a really buzzing atmosphere — even for a Wednesday night. Staff were super warm and friendly. The pizza itself was really good quality and lots of choice on the menu (the pastas looked good too). Would certainly recommend as a nice, relaxed spot for a casual dinner.

We got a table and wanted a quick pizza at lunchtime but we were put in a quiet corner of the restaurant and forgotten about. Half an hour later and we approached the till to order - we had to take out as we had run out of time. Other tables arrived after us and had been served drinks. We had the 50cm long pizza - with two toppings - the truffle special was delicious! So whilst service could do better - the pizza was good when it came.

The pizza was amazing and the caprese salad was a great start to the meal. The waitress was very attentive even though the place was really busy. I will definitely return if I visit Oslo again.

Real italian pizza with an excellent Italian touch. To get the perfect light texture, they make dough with four different flours, left to rise over 36 hours! I tried margarita with fungi and teally loved it!

The dough uses four flours and sits for 36 hours to reach its magical and tasteful state. So dough wise: 10/10 Pizza sauce: Red base 8/10 White base: 7/10 Cheese selection: Great mozzarella, Burata, aged Parmesan, Smoked cheese 🧀 9/10 The pizza 🍕 White it looks good and tastes good, it’s missing the finishing off element that makes a pizza great. Still the top five pizza places I have tried in Oslo but the flavour profiles of pizza is all an 8/10. Haha not asking for 🍍 on top as that is a crime, but more of the balance of flavours I have experienced in Italy 🇮🇹 NYC and other cities where pizza art is taken next level. So 8/10 overall experience. The staff are 10/10 amazing 🤩 Service is fast and efficient 👏 Venue has great setup and ambiance 😍 Toilets are clean enough, be sure not to get the table for two close to the Lõo)

Seriously one of the best pizza I ever ate. Truly italian. I recommend also gnocchi (vegetarian option). Moreover, tiramisu was amazing. Staff friendly and nice, despite the fact that is quite busy in there. Popular place with a lot of traffic, but it builds the atmosphere.

I had a vegetarian pizza and a caprese salad. Both of them were good! I only didn’t like the grated parmesan on both dishes, that was too much and did not go together in my opinion. The tables in the restaurant were narrowly arranged and when almost every seat is occupied, it gets very noisy in there. Service was friendly.

If you are looking for a casual spot to get a bite in Oslo this place is fantastic! We were greeted and our phone number was taken; within 20 minutes they texted and our table was ready! We ordered and split a pizza and a gnocchi pasta dish and it was quite tasty. The 2 of us were very satisfied. The crust on the pizza was just like in Rome!! We also ordered a bottle of wine and our total was $105, great price for Oslo. Would definitely recommend!

I've been a loyal customer at this pizza place since 2018, and it never fails to impress! The atmosphere is nice, the service is top-notch, and I've never left disappointed. The cozy seating arrangement, where you sit close to others, adds a unique charm. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at Mama's Pizza, and our server Isa, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was delightful, and the pizza was simply amazing. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience! 3 / 3

The food is extremely nice and delicious. I ordered arancini which were very delicious. The Limoncello Spritz was also very good. The service is a bit slow in taking orders but very friendly and nice. A place to visit and try very nice Italian classics 😍

This restaurant is worth the wait. When we got there, there was a waiting list. But it's digital so you leave your number, go to a bar nearby, and they message you to return when ready. For us we had to wait for 1 hour but that was perfect to have a beer and work up the appetite. I think we showed up at the height of a peak time. Once in, the staff were all friendly - the food was legit, and there was live music that wasn't loud, just perfect background music. Food is served fast and the decor is fun. The staff were passionate about their serving so much that we got given recommendation without asking, and was warned from pairing a glass of prosecco with their spicy pizza (Diavola) - it's true they don't pair well but we were celebrating! I like that in a service, they simply care about your dining experience.

As usual, an amazing place for Pizza/Pasta. The food is accurate, the staff are super kind and the atmosphere is great! Each time I visit Oslo, it is a "must go" place. Recommend to do the same😜

Mamma Mia what an incredible pizza! The quality of the ingredients were amazing. Just thinking of the tomato sauce wants me to fly back and eat pizza again. The dough was soft and crispy at the same time. Staff was very friendly!

Amazing tasty pizza in very cozy atmosphere. The prices are quite high. The service was fast and pleasant. We didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes on Friday night. One annoying thing was power socket right next to my seat which was very annoying.

Delicious pizza and lovely atmosphere! Might be extra busy during the warmer summer days, but did not have to wait too long for food. Overall an enjoyable experience and look forward to returning in the future!

As always the pizza was great, perhaps the best in Oslo. Expect the place to be crowded, even early. Only about 15 tables and not much space in the restaurant, but very rustic and charming. The staff are great but very unformal, service was fast. Prices are medium for Oslo, about NOK 200,- for a pizza fit for one person. Also offers takeaway.

Amazing pizza, one of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was really good and cosy. The staff was very friendly, even on a really busy evening. It was not at all that expensive compared to other places in Norway. I would recommend.

Visited this place around 5 pm today. We got 1 pizza to share. We ordered the Diavola. The base of the pizza was nice. However, the sauce has room for improvement in my opinion. I'd add more salt to the sauce or Parmesan to the pizza. The service was average. I had expected that the staff would come and check on us after the serving the food just to ask if everything is okay, but that didn't happen even once. The place itself is really nice. Nevertheless, not sure if I'll try it again.

  • 5/5 Mateusz H. 2 years ago on Google
Positively surprised! I enjoyed the service, interior, atmosphere and of course the food! Very good pizza, nicely presented, reasonable prices and the portions are very satisfying you can barely manage to eat it yourself alone. Looking forward to come back.

  • 4/5 Olivier B. 2 years ago on Google
Great taste. Bit disappointed about the freshness, the sauce already had a shift in colour which means it was already standing for quite some time. Had the Tortellini Bologna.

How could I pass on reviewing this one? Simply put, I couldn't! It has been 1 week or so since we've been there, and I still remember the waiters and the hearty food. Everything was great, from the appetizers to the main course and right through desert, they couldn't miss it either on the big doses or on the flavour. The waiters are amazing, always caring and right there whenever we needed something. They definitely bring the Mediterranean soul to Oslo, and us being Portuguese, felt very much welcomed. Save some space for the desserts! They are biiig and worth it. Oh the only thing they could improve: we heard that it would be a 45min wait for us, and then to another group, and another. And bottom line: all of us were being seated way sooner than that prediction. So don't be worried that you're going to be waiting for a long time, as the prediction isn't so right, and you can always grab some drinks while you're waiting ;)

In my month long visit to Oslo, I went to this place thrice, and they were consistently mind-blowing. Either I have never had a true Italian Pizza or all the places that claim to serve an Italian Pizza are a joke. Because pizzas here were the best I have ever had in my life. They have the best sauce ever!!

  • 5/5 Thomas P. 1 year ago on Google
One of the better pizzerias I tried outside Italy. We were there at lunch time and it was very busy. There both tourists, locals and Italian speaking guest. Several of the employees also spoke Italian which only added to the good experience. The food quality was very high and although we didn’t explore it the place was also a winebar. Definitely worth a visit

  • 5/5 Rob 11 months ago on Google
Pizza was great! Had to queue for about 15 minutes but it was worth it. The staff were friendly and the food was really good. I also loved the plates the food came on. The only negative thing was that my friend accidentally ordered a white base pizza and so he asked for some tomato sauce. They said no problem but actually charged us for it… that was wrong in my opinion.

  • 5/5 Екатерина 8 months ago on Google
Had to wait 30 minutes for a table but it was definitely worth the wait. Very tasty pasta and great ambiance. The staff is very nice and they have an online waiting system so you don’t necessarily have to wait in the line at the restaurant but can walk around the city until there is a table for you Came back the next day to try some more dishes and can still say that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Oslo!
