Absolutely blown away with the variety of plant offering and such good fast food. must try when in Scandinavian countries.

One star doesn’t cut it, service here was terrible, paid for milkshake, no milkshake, paid for chicken nuggets, no nuggets and paid for burger but no burger. Went back 3 times because they could follow a simple order. When we returned the incorrect items, they just put them back on the rack for someone else’s order and they passed around the burger to dig their fingers in between the bun to inspect they had forgot the burger like it was playing some professional game of hide and seek. To their surprise, the burger was not, and it didn’t exist, so they just put one in after the bread had been tampered with so much that diarrhoea looked more solid. They were surprised when we asked if we could have a fresh one.

Meh, burger 🍔 is pretty average, did not taste bearnaise sauce at all as it was advertised in the campaign. Chilli cheese is good as allways. Ps also got 2 bonus sticks of fried with my order.

Decent place and the only eatery open on a Sunday at 10pm. We ordered a chicken salad, drinks and a sweet. The chicken salad was tasty, although it’s served with a circular chicken plopped on top (it would look better cut up and laid over the leaves) Coffee was fine/average and the sweet was okay - portion is exceptionally small as you’ll see in comparison to a medium coffee in the photo.

The food taste like other max places. But my complaint is with the staff, my order took 30min before they started preparing it. When they noticed they forgot instead of apologizing they laughed around between the co-workers how long we had to wait

My friend and I came here at 22, when there was close to no rush. We had to wait 30 minutes for our orders. I ordered a plant based vanilla milkshake, but ended up with a strawberry one after 25 minutes of waiting. My friend ordered onion rings, a burger and a sundae, but ended up not getting her sundae but coke instead and ended up overpaying. She tried to tell that her order was wrong, but customer service was just as wrong. They only give a number on the machines with no evidence of what you picked. Tip: film what you are ordering. The onion rings were okay tho, but the milkshake I got was NOT plant based…

DON'T TAKE AWAY. Just eat in. The way they wrap the take away is atrocious. Coke spilled due to inadequate cover. Also, no proper way to carry their take away bags without handles.

Realized this is a chain from Sweden. This is my first time tasting this burger, I took the frisco single patty, and it’s surprsingly good. If I am craving junk food and am in Oslo, I would choose this over a Mcdonalds or Burger King since the latter you can find elsewhere in the world, but Max you probably can only find here?

I sadly do not know why this Restaurant has only 3,8 Stars. As a German ( knowing the High prices of Oslo) this is the best Place to eat. Prices are comparable to McDonalds, but the Food is very very good. I Norsk "det smaker!" But the seats are sadly not as premium as the food. But still best place to eat for a budget in Oslo

Burgers and fries were tasty and bursting with flavours especially creole fries. Price is on a higher side especially if you are coming from Asia! But it’s worth a try! Enjoy!

A piece of Sweden in Norway. I'd really recommend trying out their brand taste: MAX burgare and MAX dip. Also mozzarella sticks are fantastic!

Service is mostly good and fast. Usual wait for my order is 10 minutes, but there was occasions where I waited for up to 20 minutes (it depends on who's working I guess). Burgers are good, but my favourite (and mostly my reason to eat there) are the creole fries. And for the chicken nuggets they have this incredible Korean BBQ sauce, which is spicy and fruity. Hits my spot. All in all a good alternative to McDonald's and Burger King.

As a fast food meal is mad. Very tasty. Always we talk about Oslo we have Max in our memories

The one and only time I order the standard Max burger meal. You get what you pay for, but I wasn't expecting a child's burger. It was smaller than a McDonald's cheese burger! The girl behind the counter should have been paying more attention to the customers than chatting with her colleague. And a bit more frequent table clearing/cleaning would be appreciated. Apart from the size, flavour was great, I'll just order an adult sized portion next time.

Good location, fast service and burger good. Lot of customer but still not so long waiting time. First time to visit this brand so worth of testing if want fast food.

I was waiting 25 minutes for my meal and they gave me something else. When I reported it I had to wait another 15 minutes and again - I got something else. I gave up and ate what they gave me, because now the order was mostly correct, but in the end I got a cheaper burger then I ordered. I have an impression that the staff mostly didn’t understand english. Only one member communicated with me and tried to help me, the rest of them didn’t even look at me. Sorry, but can’t recommend.

The elevator is broken and full of garbage. You cannot access this place with a stroller. So if you have a kid, I don't recommend

A very dirty place inside and outside. Outside needs a good jet wash. We saw a coca cola spilt on the floor and nobody took a notice for a long time. Slow service and food came out lukewarm.Had Max in Liseberg and the food was much better and hotter.

Best burger chain in Norway by far, even if it is Swedish ;)

Max burgers is awesome. The food is great and when you have completed your meal, one feels fulfilled. Unfortunately, the good food comes with zero service. I never feel good about purchasing my meal because the service and staff feels so far removed from the dine in experience. It's hard to explain, but I don't feel good after leaving there. I am full, and satisfied yes, but I don't feel good spending my money there. If anyone has ever dined in at Chic Filet or a local mom and pops burger joint, there is an experience and level of service that makes me want to leave a tip and tell everybody about my great dining experience. Unfortunately, because there is no sense of appreciation for my visit, my presence, or my money, I am only left with the thought that I should go on a diet and avoid the joint completely. The experience eating there just inspires me to be more disciplined and avoid eating there all together. I hope that makes sense.

I always liked Max Burger at Karl Johans Gata in Oslo. But this time the "restaurant was dirty" my 2 cheeseburgers were cold and I keeded to wait for 3 burgers (no fries) 20 min. For a fast food restaurant, it's not really that good. The taste of the burger was always good, but this time, the taste was 🤢🤢

I loved this place, it made me feel like home. Definitely worth a visit! Their Ringnes beer is on tap and only 104kr, what a steal! The food made me really happy, i dont have to eat anything even remotely as good as this for a week now.

Nice food, not quite expensive for Oslo. Even do there is not much space to sit

If you love McDonald's you can go to Max Burgers. They serve you very fast and the food is good-as-Mc.

It was okay, a little bit expensive. Food tasted good. The burger meat was a little bit weird. But very good taste and look, food looks fresh. 👍 But the price pulled the stars down to 4.

Definitely the worst MAX Burgers place i have ever been to. Extremely dirty, full of trash, seems like floor has not been cleaned for at least a few days. Tables are also a mess. More importantly the quality of the food is really poor, it was honestly sad to eat. Huge disappointment.

Delicious burger, I ordered the Umami Bacon Burger without bacon and it tasted amazing! The sweet potato fries could have been a bit thicker but still good with the Aioli dip.. I also got a large drink instead since they were to lazy to fill up the medium one 😂

Nothing premium about this experience. Burgers are just as soggy as your average McDonald's, which is fine by itself, but not when advertised as "premium". Sweet potato fries was soggy and partially raw. The Fanta dispenser was evidently empty, got water and some bubbles. Barely decent grub when hungry. Would have to be paid to come back here.

Make sure you check that you got the right food you have ordered at this restaurant. I don't know what the problem is but the employes here aren't doing their job correctly. Third time I a row now that I get hamburgers without dressing, sloppy burgers put together by someone who seems to hate their job. There's always something missing, every time. I wouldn't say you get the experience you pay for if you order from this restaurant. I would recommend to make them redo any meal that isn't up to their company standards.

My first time getting a burger in Oslo and it is a good place for filling fast food. Definitely a step up from a McDonald's in terms of taste but in all other respects very similar.

I always visit Max when I go to Oslo. I think it's a way better option than MacDonalds and Burger King. The burgers are tastier, the fries are usually great and the shakes are good. Some times the staff can be a little unfriendly, but I have only experienced that when I've visited late in the evenings, and when the place is very crowded. Usually they're very friendly, and alwayd enjoy my visit.

It's very cold inside. The toilet is very dirty. The food was cold too. It's a shame that there is such a disgusting establishment in the center of Oslo

Max has great vegan options. They are delicious. My favorites are the nuggets with korean bbq and siracha ketcup dips. And the strawberry milkshake 😋

I came from Sweden and have tasted Max before, it’s delicious. But about this place, I take out one star because of place which is not clean (unexpected), another star because of toilet. It is locked for customers but not usable. (Very dirty) another star because of staff, there are kind and I’m sure they do their best to provide everything according to the order. I can also see how they paid attention to the details but they might need to train a little to be faster, it called “fast food” it shouldn’t take long time to prepare. Any way, might not recommend this branch but surly you should try MAX somewhere else 😁

Scrap food, dirty place, terrible service. I have ordered a burger and fries today, it was very difficult to find a place where you can eat, because everywhere was very dirty. Then I had to approach myself to the desk and ask my order to be prepared. Finally food has been prepared and I was shocked. Fries had terrible taste, obviously the oil that they fried them hasn't been changed for long time and it is very low quality oil. Burger's meat was disgusting either. Just wondering how in the center of Oslo such places are operating, why they are not being audited? How people still go to this place and eat? If you say that price is low, no it is not. Price is a lot higher for that quality. Terrible, disgusting!!!

In many ways I prefere max burgers as a good alternative to other fast food restaurants, but recently I have been served cold food. The meat is not prepared well enough and the staff should get proper training or just use common sense. You don't serve a cold burger. There's a lot of tables and seats, but most of them dirty or you will see that from all the stains it has been cleaned with a dirty cloth.

Awful place. Having eaten at Max in Sweden & Denmark this is the dregs. Staff are slow and inefficient. 20 orders waiting to be completed and I waited over 20 mins to receive mine. To the surprise of no-one the burger was cold because it had been sitting in the rack for so long. Very hard to find somewhere to sit because no one cleans the tables/seats/floor. Very disappointing.

Yes, it was fast, but man, it was bad. The loaded cheese fries were cold and not tasty. The burger with cheese was cold, and I don't think it was ever warm, as the plastic cheese was not melted at all. Half of the ordering screens were not working, either black or frozen screens. Usually MAX burger restaurants are okay, but not this one.

Maybe they, I mean stuff had bad day, but for me service in this place was at lowest possible level I would expect from fast food.. for me it was long long waiting for some drinks only. Don't recommend this place

Filthy! Fruitflies on the walls and booths. Food on the floors and seats. So dirty and dusgusting. Food is flavourless and overpriced. Avoid this place.
