Nice bakery cafe with some yum cardamom buns and cortado. But I must say, Swedish cardamom buns were better compared to the ones I've tried in Oslo.

Came here because of the film The Worst Person in the World (in the film, Eivind works at this cafe). Love the brunch here. The toast is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Chicken is seasoned well. Coffee is nice as well.

Nice, modern bakery with awesome food. Came here late for breakfast an still got lots to choose from. The avocado sandwich was super delicious and the smoothie was great aswell. Can definetly recommend this place and will come here again.

Very cozy place. They had friendly baristas with good coffee, good sandiwches and even better skolebrød and cinnamonbuns. Will definitely come back here when we visit Oslo again.

We went for breakfast this morning. It was the best thing I ate during my trip to Oslo. I had the Chicken & Avocado (+Bacon) open top sandwich. Delicious! I wanted to get up and shake the Chef's hand it was so good.

Super friendly staff taking good time to help out. The food was very tasty and well balanced. The coffee was very aromatic, just what i needed. Very cozy interior with oak furniture. Definitely worth a visit.

Modern bakery (with a little hipster touch 🤣). You can just buy their products (bread, sandwitches etc) or stop to have breakfast/brunch. We had brunch with americano coffee, bread with eggs and salmon and bread with eggs and bacon. Overall great quality food, beautiful ambience, very nice staff. I would return here for sure!

We ate some great desserts and drank a good cappuccino but I ordered a large cappuccino but they gave me a normal cappuccino Italian size. Very busy place not easy to find seat

Asked to have an alternative to bacon since I don’t eat pork. The cook came to the register and told me it’s a Norwegian cafe therefore they only make Norwegian food. I would recommend going to one of the cafe’s by the water with a better view and kinder service.

Recommend pancakes 🥞, we were looking 👀 for them and at this place they are amazing and very big, but we took one extra! Avocado 🥑 and eggs 🍳 were also amazing 😻 . 10 min from train station and 5 from Oslo opera house

EXCELLENT pastries & sandwiches. The people behind the counter are super patient and nice! So glad I saw this place my first day in Oslo and went back to every day spent in the city! Ambiance is wonderful as well. Outside seating available if it’s nice out.

Sehr schönes Café in Oslo. Die Einrichtung ist mega und wir wurden als Familie auch sehr herzlich empfangen. Kinderstuhl war vorhanden super leckere Pancakes für die Töchter. Wir hatten die Stullen mit Ei und Avocado oder Bacon. Richtig gut!

Zero gluten free options. The excuse is that they «cant guarantee that the produce was made in an absolutely glutenfree environment».

This was the first bar I entered when I got in Oslo. Really comfy and felt at home. I fell in love with the pastry with apples, that was really sweet. The fact that you can refill your bottle for free is top notch

Very nice patisserie and bakery by Barcode! The atmosphere of the interior is great. Try the coffee which is really delicious, the sweet rolls are also tasty :)

Nice, wide open, location (daylight through the almost 360° glass surrounding). Close to the water, bus & train station. Very charming & lovely staff, delicious "plain natural" sourdough breads (tried the rug one and it's real treat) + good, locally roasted ☕. Plantfriends -> oat/havremilk available 😻

I love Åpent Bakeri and the Barcode one is no exception. Delicious sandwiches, really good coffee, amazing pastries. The interior of the cafés are all different each has its own unique style. This bakery has warm wood interior and large windows for maximum scenic views of the Barcode area.

Stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was very pleased! I ordered a croissant and a cardamom bun, which were both very tasty. Coffee was solid as well. Overall not too expensive. Very relaxing atmosphere for a calm weekend breakfast, and a plus given how close it is to the main train station.
