Nice atmosphere, good cocktails! My favourite bar of the street

Meistens gute Musik verschiedener Richtungen, manchmal ist ein DJ da. Lockere Atmosphäre - gemischtes Alter der Gäste. Grosse Auswahl an Bieren und Getränken. Die Einrichtung gefällt mir besonders gut.

Below expectations place. Portion cheese very overpriced, mute service. Might be fun when you’re already drunk.

Fun place! I enjoyed the ambiance. Older crowd, and only one man was dancing, but I still had fun.

A big sorry to the proprietor. I was already tipsy by the time I arrived. I got drunk pretty quick after that. Then v stupidly got aggressive. Ahhh single malts!! Again humble apologies. I deserved all that I got. Perfect Sunday tho 👌 🙌

[october 2023] I offer you 5 stars because my first time in this bar was magical, a timeless and intercontinental meeting place, even unique in its genre, a place where DJs mix on vinyl and where people like to dance like I do. have rarely seen in Europe! Quality beers, even rare, can be found in local bars (my favorite Saint Bernardus apt 12 of course, but in moderation). A big thank you to the big boss for his hospitality and his good manners and good humor. Ps :When the bosses are not there, the little ones gain power! or it was a most distressing extra. I hope not to reach the reputation of Marvin Gaye's bar and its extraordinary charmed

Very unpolite Barkeeper(a young student), continues to speak in Flemish although he realizes that I do not understand it. Serves an Amaretto instead of a Mojito. Can‘t recommend at all

The place to be from Oostende. From beer wine to cocktails . With music 🎶 to become joyful Where Marvin Gay was a famous guest.

Stopped by midweek,so wasn't busy, excellent choice of beer's, Small bar with tables out front, Good atmosphere with some decent music playing,Imagine it's a great place to be at weekends.

I was the only person in the tiny bar. I walked past the bartender as she talked outside on the phone....she carried on talking and talking and just left me just standing there. I could understand if it was an important call but it wasn't. Service was certainly without a smile. The seating is pretty poor too. There's plenty of great local bars but sadly this is not one.

Nothing extraordinary from outside. However as a local I start to like it, tye inside has a nice vibe, good music and possible to chat while still enjoying music. Get your drinks at the bar !

Great looking bar. Extensive drink menu. Loved the music, but in the evening it was so loud that we couldn't converse at our table without shouting. We had to leave and most patrons were outside probably for that reason. Fairly empty inside during the winter and the service was slow. I give it 4 stars for the atmosphere and drink selection. 3.5 would be closer.

In this little authentic dark bar, the DJ plays well curated American soul music from the 70’s. Definitely worth popping in for a few brews. Not a Hugh beer selection but that is not why you come here.

Very nice place for drinking beer and relaxing. Cosy atmosphere and calm music make this place ideal for loooong evenings ;) Lafayette offers a wide variety of Belgian beers' types and ofcourse other alcohol and no alcohol drinks. For sure it is not last visit here
