One of the best croquettes de crevettes grises I have had! Great place for grilled food and open much later than most restaurants in the area.

Nice place to visit if near Klein Strand in Ostend. Limited choice, but all cooked well, we had Ribs and Steak as well as a simple Croquette starter, all excellent, a great end to a long weekend at the coast.

The food was great, especially the tuna steak. I had a nice time with my family at this restaurant. Friendly staff and very nice ambience. A must to go place.

What a superb restaurant, lively eclectic interior which adds to the occasion. The four of us had a great evening here on our one night in Oostende, could not have made a better choice. The mixed grill and the ribs were both great dishes, cooked on the open wood burning bbq grill, fantastic.

First impression was very good because the place is very nicely decorated and the service is also very good. We ordered two soup of the day as starter and two meat dishes for main course. The starter was very nice. I ordered the giant ribs and eating them resulted in a bad night of sickness. Even as I write this review I am sick in my hotel room. I made a mistake to eat and not to complain because it immediately showed that something was wrong. They seemed over-cooked on the outside, somehow very hard to cut and not well cooked on the inside with some parts even showing what seemed like raw or almost raw meat.

The Gamba's grilled are excellent and for meat lovers the fillet pure saignent is the best you can get!!! The spare ribs are ok but there could be a bit more meat on the bone, it's not as tender as it usually is. Some people will like them done on the fire like here and other people will like it more juicy.

The place is spectacular. We just took a beer, prices are normal. The staff seem to be under a lot of pressure and their mood is not the best.

I had a lunch Wednesday the 4th of January and forgot a pair of gloves (black with fur) that are very special for me, a gift from my grandma. I called to the restaurant and one waitress said she saw the gloves and it was there. I said I will stop by the restaurant tomorrow 11am but I decided to go tonight and when I got there no one knew anything about it. Obviously someone from the staff took it. I will fly home tomorrow and I’m very sad with this situation, for someone it’s just a pair of gloves but for me it has a special meaning.

After multiple good things we heard about this place, we went there. Although my girlfriend and her friend ate very well, my friend and I were very disapointed. We had the least good ribs we´ve ever had. The whole table shook when we had to use our knife. I expect ribs to be soft meat and come off easily when you tear them apart. Will try again and adapter my review if it was better..

Absolutely love this place! The interior is charming and the food/drinks are amazing. The cocktails aren’t cheap, but they are so good. I did have a bad experience here a few nights ago. Our waiter was completely hammered. He broke 2 glasses, because he was too drunk. That was the only negative thing I experienced with staff though. Otherwise the staff is very friendly!

Service was good, beer was great, nice atmosphere and unique looking place. The fries were lovely but on a fillet steak there was a LOT of fat, still good meat but not the best steak I've had. Would still go back, friend had the mixed grill and that looked great.

A beautiful restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff. I highly recommend the scampis and the lamb.

Wonderful place! Super delicious, staff is friendly and quick on the spot! Great variety of food. Prices are stiff, but it is well worth it! The interior is very cozy and unique, easily can spend hours and hours here. Definitely try the shrimp!
