This place is dreamy. Soft music playing, super cozy inside given that it’s 55F/12C. The banana pancakes were so light, flavourful and fluffy - not too sweet at all, even with the honey on top. The fruit on the side was more than I expected and was fresh! I wish I could have breakfast like this everyday. The service was also good and the price was what I expected for the area. I was able to communicate even though I don’t speak Dutch. Do not hesitate to come into this place for breakfast or lunch and to warm up. I can only imagine how nice it is in the winter time (if they’re open). Adding this to my list of places to revisit when I’m back in the area.

Small place with a terrace and a main hall. The interior is very artistic, additional heaters in the terrace make the place really cozy. The service is very friendly but be prepare to wait your order for a long time. And the food itself does feel way-way overpriced, mediocre and overall menu selection quite boring.

We had a Robin’s breakfast and a Healthy breakfast combo for brunch and we were both very happy with our choices. For the brunch combo you get a base, common for every combo on the menu, and choose the supplements. The base was simple but of very good quality. It had anything somebody would need for breakfast, and there were great options of supplements on the menu, including vegan and vegetarian. The hot chocolate was exceptionally good. Great service too, and cute interior. Do book in advance. I was sitting next to the door and saw a lot of people trying to get a table being bounced. It’s a popular place.

What a warm welcome in a very beautiful and very cozy restaurant. The dishes were real gems. Not just for the eye. They were also delicious. They already have several good reviews and they are all true! Top address, definitely recommended. We also ordered breakfast and nothing but positive words about that. Definitely worth it!!!

We went for a brunch but couldn’t make it on time and hence ended up having lunch here! I would flag this as an expensive place for a casual lunch! The poke bowl I had was 26 euros which I found expensive coming from Luxembourg 😀 over all good food, nice ambience! Wish I could give 3.5 though

Can’t say anything about food because we were not allowed to sit though there were free table. The reason was: now we are just for lunch not for coffee…. If there is a coffee in the menu why can’t we order it? Who knows maybe other stuff would attract us as well and we order more. I understand that every cafe can have own rules but to be customer oriented is the key. Anyway cafe has a lot of customers so they don’t need more - my impression

A cosy hidden gem in the heart of Ostend which we discovered by accident. Very friendly staff, fresh delicious meals, ig-worthy. And coffee lovers please check them out, they have a wide range of different coffees. We will definitely visit them again next time we’re visiting Ostende.

We can't say much about the atmosphere, because we went for a takeaway breakfast during our end-of-year weekend at the seaside. Everything was ready at the agreed time, and it looked warm and atmospheric, so you get stars for atmosphere. Friendly, helpful and above all what was in the boxes was tasty, fresh and plenty of it. A nice tasty breakfast on the last day of the year, which kept us going until dinner. Satisfied customers !!!!

all looks very nice, but overpriced. looks like a good place for sweet 22€ breakfast. guacamole ok. but we needed more meet, sorry. PS: after the answer I get from the place - its clear to me, that nice place and food can be served by unprofessional people. A cute little restaurant. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful (We picked the busiest time of the restaurant but even so, the staff was navigating around the place with precision) The Normal and the Healthy Breakfast we had were both very tasty.

Expo & Kafie seemed like a cozy place with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, you cannot just have a drink there with friends, but you are obliged to order a main course. Moreover, the price is higher than in other eateries, and you are only allowed to order a dessert after you have ordered a main course. I find this concept strange, and I have never experienced this before. Too bad, but I won't be coming back here and I'm not a fan of it.
