I understand it is pretty much all re uolt after the destruction of WWII, but they've done a bloody good job of it. The town hall itself is pretty magnificent and it is worth going to the museum within to look around the interior. The restaurants/terraces are fairly priced, you could spend few hours just looking at people passing by, tourists with smile on their faces, kids looking for dwarfs ... just go and enjoy!

The square is enormous. It even has huge buildings in the middle with alleyways between them. In fact initially I thought the central palaces marked one side of the square, I hadn't realised they were in the middle and the square stretched on beyond! The coloured painted buildings are wonderful. Full of shops, bars, ice-cream shops, restaurants, etc., as well as the gorgeous Gothic town hall among the central structures.

Beautiful old town with a market square. It is full of colorful old buildings that are well maintained. There are several different types of restaurant with all kinds of cuisines. There are also 2 beautiful churches with old polish architecture. Souvenir shops are also there where you can get souvenirs of the city.

It’s a huge, elegant, very nice square in Wrocław old town! It’s a meeting place where you can listen music, see artists. It’s really nice to walk here! Recommend!

Great market square probally one of the most renovated ones in Poland, theres a great choice of restaurants around here and a galleria within a 1 km reach. Its not to busy on working days but it can be in the weekends havnt experienced this for myself but by the looks of a weekday this place will be packed. If you like your beer and food theres lots of accamodations to choose from but there are lots of places that are interesting for everyone

Gorgeous place with lovely restaurants, pubs, places to visit, and chilax with family or friends. It would be lovely if there were some public benches to rest when you felt like it.

I think all market squares are very similar in Poland. But Rynek in Wroclaw is the best one for me. I am totally in love with the city. And there is no more pleasure than to seat in Wedel cafe sipping coffee and watching people going through the market square 🤷‍♀️☺️

Visited whilst the Xmas Market was on and had an absolute blast! Beautiful lights, friendly atmosphere and plenty of wonderful stalls selling traditional gifts, crafts and food/drinks. The buildings are stunning too. Can’t wait to return!

Walked around here in the snow and cold for the Christmas market and it was magical. So much to see and do. Many side streets, small stores and eateries. Beautiful city full of character and beauty

Absolutely beautiful with the Christmas markets. The architecture in the square is also very nice. Hope to visit in the summer to enjoy the square more.

The squarenisnhuge, and filled with Xmas stalls offering food and gifts. A little more pricey than I would have expected for Poland, but very festive. The square is lined with colourful buildings which house, cafes, restaurants and shops

Beautiful part of the Old Town, dating as far as 13th Century. Market surrounded by a colorful, classic tenements. One of Poland's 'must visit' cities. Wroclaw is also known for one of the best Christmas Markets in Europe.
