Taste is missing, today the risotto was plain, was just a persistent taste of.. fish. Salmon was baked, spices were missing. The other dish, same situation salt, a lot of it. Not talking here about portion size which was tiny for a lunch menu. I also do not understand their claim "Fresh from Italy" since they are importing from Italy it cannot be fresh in the same time! Fries from frozen potatoes are not considered as being fresh!! Anyway, a place to be avoided especially for misleading customers.

The food was horrible. We had three pizzas. It was dry and very expensive for that kind of food. One of the pizzas was literally just the dry pizza dough without any sauce or anything, covered with a lot of pre-bought salad and a bit of burratina. The place was decorated nicely and the service was really good. We felt bad for the waitress as we didn't leave the tip, because with that prices we expected a lot more. Also we had some weird charge on the bill, 19 czk per person. We have no idea what it was. Do yourself a favour and go to McDonalds instead. It will be cheaper and better.

Coloseum is a popular restaurant in the centre of Ostrava city. The place is good and the dishes are tasty. The waiter was very attentive and polite. On request he brought the amount of grams in the food. Waiter Lukaš was really good.

We came inside because we noticed large terrace and we were with two dogs. We set few minutes and nobody came to us, so I went inside and asked for menus. They told us that terrace is only for drinks and smoking, they will not bring food there. But they let us in with the dogs, so it's pet friendly :) The waiters are very friendly and the food was amazing. Highly recomment to come in!

Pizza wasn't bad but they charge you extra 25 for the bread that they give to your table. Funnily enough it's portion for one person but they apparently charged all of us for that. Beer is very expensive here about 20kr more than in other restaurants. Overally this restarant seems really overhyped and does not stand up to 5 star standard's. Staff didn't speak english and seemed annoyed when we tried to communicate with them about splitting bill.

We are always pleased with our experience at Coloseum, especially when Aleš is our server. We love bringing our kids - it's a great experience for the whole family. Try the pizza with bufala mozzarella!

Nigdy jeszcze nie zdarzyło nam się wyrzucić całych dań. To była strata pieniędzy i to nie małych. Nie polecam - strata pieniędzy, czasu i nerwów. 🙁 Przez tę restaurację cały wyjazd nam się nie podobał.
