Great beers, great food, but service is probably not for tourists as we received some attitude from the server caused by a misunderstanding due to language barrier. I'm sure it has happened before, so I don't get why she got really upset about it. I liked ight beers, and I was given about three choices from tap. I ordered the popular one and really liked it. After a few mugs, they ran out and had to try another brand, which was also good. About food, I ordered the pork knee, and I got what I imagined. It's not for the weak bec it is fatty, but I've ordered really fatty dishes, and this is not at all near the "dangerous" level. I really liked it and finished it, too. It has flavor and not just the fats ;)

What a fantastic place! Very local, full of people, good vibe, wide selection of craft beers and tasty Czech food! A place to come back with every return to Ostrava. Screw the Stodolni street and its bars. This hospoda is much better!

This version of the pub is more tidy and better decorated than the original one, but it lacks some background music. The kost important thing here is beer that is the best selection of craft beers from random microbreweries all around Ostrava. In my opinion best place to taste why Czech beer is so prestigious without spending a fortune.

Very nice typical Czech pub having the feeling of the old times. Wide variety of beer selection on draft and even more in bottles. Good beers that are treated well and served properly. Either from small Czech breweries or from foreign ones. The atmosphere here is very authentic and one can fell like moved in time. Also offering some food. The selection is not big but the quality is nice. I enjoyed our stay here very much.

Very interesting beer. Nice decorations and interior. And you can eat there. Worth a visit if you are in Ostrava. Favorite language is check, no other languages was offer, but details Go outside the tourist paths and visit this nice drinking establishment

Kurnik Šopa pours a new selection of outstanding beers every week or so. Get there and spend your night discovering unknown local brews accompanied by homemade traditional pub food in a cosy atmosphere. There's also a backyard with few tables.

Cozy place with various beers from smaller breveries and stylish railway-themed decorations. Not a mainstream place, definitely worth to visit.

Really really nice beer selection changing daily or often. Drafted about 7 at the time. Non smoking even “inside block beer garden” is meh. Smart visitors and barkeepers, usually crowded, call for table if you dare.
