Amazing authentic Czech cooking. We were visiting Ostrava from the UK for a football game, and came here as our first dinner. It was amazing! We came during St Martins day weekend (which we didn't know was a thing haha!) We had smoked trout, beef tongue, and then an amazing roast goose leg main. It was incredible, excellent authentic Czech food and exactly what we wanted to experience. The wait staff were awesome, they really looked after us. I put my empty glass down and it wasn't 15 seconds before the waiter came and asked I'd I wanted another one. Yes, yes I do haha! They spoke English too which was awesome because most Czech people don't, so we didn't have to point at the menu like idiots haha! I'd 100% eat here again if I'm ever back in Ostrava.

Pretty good 'home cooking' style restaurant. We sampled quite a few dishes, all tasty - some a bit less than others. I thought it was very good all round, but did find some better places around, so have marked accordingly. We had Beetroot Carpaccio with goat's cheese - which was excellent, & smoked beef tongue - which was a little bland but nice. Followed by Minors Speciality (pork tenderloin etc)‐ the pancake was really special with this dish, & Rabbit with potato gnocchi - which was also delicious. To follow we (reluctantly) had Fried plums in egg liqueur, this was great and beautifully presented (if you can stomach egg liqueur that is). Service was pleasant too. Not sure I'd go again cos, you know.. been there done that, but recommended for traditional cuisine

Fantastic traditional Czech food at moderate prices. We stopped there on the way back from skiing. 5 min drive from A1 (weekend).

Food was top quality no doubt. Decoration could be improved. It looks way to basic 90’s style 😩

The food (pork tenderloin) was great. The server asked me whether I want to replace french fries with potatoes or grilled vegetables. I said grilled vegetables. Later I found from the receipt that they charged additional 99 koruna for the replacement. The server didn’t disclose this and she should have informed me of the additional charge when asking me about the replacement.

The garlic soup was very strong and delicious, and even though our first three choices for the main course were sold out, the fourth option was still satisfying. Although we had to wait for a free table for 15 minutes, it was worth it. The service was kind and the prices were affordable. Highly recommended!

Quite strange place. Nothing really interesting. Very boring interior. You can find many more interesting places with traditional Czech food outside of Stodolni. We didn’t catch the vibe with the waitress… or maybe she didn’t catch it with us…. But that’s fine, we came over there only to eat and the food was ok. Nothing special but tasty enough. Prices little bit higher than in many other places around. Acceptable but I’m not planing to visit back.

Good place to eat and have some beers

This restaurant is worth to visit as it has climate of local cottage with local Morav cousine.

Great czech cusine, extraordinary service by Jan. We tried rabbit in cream sauce and meat made on lava stone. For dessert fried plums and sladkie knedliki. All came with nice choice of moravian wines. Hidden gem!

Very good restaurant on a side street off Stodolni The food is very well presented and tastes as good as it looks Managed speaks excellent English Beer selection small so I had the Pilsner Urquell I will be when I am next in Ostrava

Good food. The waitress was not so nice. She knows a little bit polish but it was easier to speak in English. She wasn't polite. That's look she hates the job and does everything to check it from her own list of to do things. I would not come again to this place, but if you only want to eat something good the place is okay. If you want spend some time on eating and get relaxed don't go there.
