Very nice atmosphere and environment here in the middle if the main square, but not full of pub types. We're drank quite a lot, and the music / vibe was very cool. The cocktails need some attention, as they aren't exactly what they're supposed to be, but it's not really a place known for cocktails, and they were nice anyway (don't play with cocktail ingredients if you don't know how- a cosmopolitan is a simple but classic drink - and a sex on the beach is so straightforward, it's very hard to get wrong.. but they managed to). Anyway, definitely recommended

Good for relax! Very simple food in my opinion. Czech restaurant without Kofola? One star less...

They actually refused to serve a group of polite, smartly dressed Roma Czechs. They called the police on this family which just wanted to enjoy their dinner out like everyone else. They spoke perfect English and did not react badly. Just left feeling sad. I felt most sorry for the well behaved children. Racism :-(

Nice and cozy cafe with good coffee, but very sweet.

Straight line didn't reached ( picture ). Stuffs only did their job. Seats at terasse direct at market place, that was fine.

One star down only for the slightly slow and very bored looking service (not the kitchen though). Otherwise the food and drinks vere great. Pleasant modern music, comfortable chairs and nice dim lighting. Perfect place to sit down, enjoy some nice food and chill.

Want a nice place to have a coffee or a drink out in the square? Polo is such a place. The service is very nice,it doesn't matter if you do not speak Czech, they want and they will find a way to communicate and serve you. The chicken salad is really nice and you must definitely ask for a pitcher of water flavored with fruit,it is tasty, refreshing and will want a second one.

Huge thanks for so nice attitude. This is very friendly place and it is very hard to find especially in Ostrava! Thanks once again especially to Marketa, one of the very helpful staff. I can definitely recommend!

Food is fine but service is terrible... 4 days in a row... Every time there was something wrong. One coffee missing, 1.5h waiting for a sandwich (after an hour i asked what happened, waitress told that chef forgot about it, and asked if I still wanted it, after another 30 minutes when I asked again i heard "oh... Do you still want it?" 🤯), 3 different waitresses telling sth different each time. If only service was at least decent, it would be 5*. Tip for an owner - fire them all and hire more competent people... Disaster.

Strange place, like everything in Ostrava (sorry). No one person. Absolutely empty. You have no idea what to do.

👍👍 Fancy and beautiful restaurant in the middle of the city. Very tasty dishes and good authentic Mexican touch. Amazing service. Only backs are small portions and a bit high price for the city average.
