Owner was nice despite us arriving late. Very nice and helpful attitude! Rooms are good and appropriate for price.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The worst hostel I stayed at on my 3 month backpacking trip. They charged me twice for the full price of my room, still haven't payed me back. My room ( Private double ) was smelly when I got there and overall unattractive. The kitchen was dirty, and there was no one at the reception for an entire saturday afternoon. Also, 30 minute walk from any decent restaurant. I was in a pinch when I stayed here so the only upside was that they had room !

I would give it a higher score but unfortunately there was a Ukrainian family screaming until 2am (door opposite kitchen on the 3rd floor). Making it next to impossible to sleep. Nice hostel for the money, otherwise.

Stayed here for 11 nights during the IIHF World Juniors Hockey Championship with 4 people staying in the Quadruple room. Early communication with the managers went well, however on arrival we realized that the hostel was a dump. The blinds on the windows don't work, everything in the shared kitchen got stolen (on multiple occasions), and there was absolutely no atmosphere as you would expect in a hostel during a busy time like this. No events, no common areas, just nothing. We were only given 1 set of keys (4 of which were needed to get in). I've stayed in hostels all over the world and this has to be the worst I've ever seen. Avoid.

So the beds might not be the most comfortable, or the kitchen the cleanest. But for a fair price you get to stay a stone throw distance away from the train station and right in front of a tram which takes you to the city (although the distance is also very walkable) Also, best host of any hostel I've ever stayed at, 10/10

Room was large with only 3 beds. It was in an ok location not far from bus/train terminal and very quiet at night. City center is maybe a 10-minute walk south but no problem.

Very hospital owner, who helped me explore the city and provided everything I needed. Big room with high ceiling. Good hostel for its price.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean as was the restroom. Especially the sheets were very comfortable. The man at the lobby was a very nice older man, who gave us a lot of valuable inside knowledge over the city and the best locations. I can recommend it completely. 😊

Very nice rooms, like a hotel with a bathroom, a comfortable bed, when travelling, good for rest overnight. George is a very good man. He can tell some interesting stories. Is close to the train station. Thank you.

The owner of the hostel is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I had arrived incredibly late, having had to cycle in the pitch black, unlit streets surrounding the city, and was welcomed with open arms by this kind man, who calmed me down and told me all about the city as he checked me in

As for me, great place to stay, primarily because of location. Some positive surprises, namely silence (exceptional in the middle of second-largest urban area in the whole country) and a really very helpful and very kind receptionist.
