Workers
of
the
Liberty
plant
live
in
the
hotel
and
now
Ukrainian
refugees,
mostly
mothers
with
children,
have
been
settled
here.
The
hotel
was
built
back
in
Soviet
times,
so
it’s
pure
nostalgia.
Hot
water
and
free
Wi-Fi
are
always
available,
although
the
Internet
connection
is
not
good
everywhere.
The
rooms
(not
all)
have
kitchen
areas
with
a
microwave
and
kettle.
Washing
machines
and
dryers
were
installed
on
the
ground
floor.
There
is
a
coffee
machine
in
the
lobby.
In
general,
the
plant
is
quite
environmentally
friendly,
but
on
foggy
autumn
evenings
the
air
has
a
specific
chemical
smell,
but
in
general
there
are
hares
and
squirrels
jumping
around
the
hotel.
There
are
tram
and
bus
stops
within
a
3-minute
walk,
transport
runs
strictly
according
to
schedule,
20
minutes
-
and
you
are
in
a
large
shopping
center.
There
is
a
shop
next
to
the
hotel
where
you
can
buy
urgently
needed
items,
but
at
a
high
price.
There
are
no
places
to
walk
around
the
hotel,
everything
is
an
industrial
zone.
But
a
few
stops
away
(Duul
Zarubek)
there
is
a
beautiful
park
and
the
Silesian
Ostrava
Castle.
