Nice bookstore with a cafeteria that is great and quite cheap in prices. There are lots of book related events in this place every week - authors visit and give autographs or hold discussions or author readings, other interesting people give talks.

We stopped here with my daughter for a hot chocolate and Chai Latte on a very cold day. Very comfortable, very friendly staff, lovely drinks.

A very comprehensive book shop on three floors. Of course virtually all Czech language. Very nice large cafe on the ground floor with excellent coffee and nice cakes.

Prices are much higher than presented online. Your argument is, that the costs are different for physical store and online, but I do not see this point. In case I order online and pick the book from the store, how is the cost lower, then if I come to the store and take the book from the exactly same shelf by myself?

The staffs are super lovely, friendly, and very helpful! I tried to order a book here but it was out of stock but I needed it quite urgently within the week. They understood my situation, emailed and even called around for me and was able to have one available in about 2 days for pick up. They kept me informed via email - very organised. A very spacious bookstore with a great selection of books from a variety of genres and languages. A perfect place for meetings too - they have a cafeteria inside.

Probably the largest bookstore in Ostrava and certainly the most pleasant and culturally active. There is a cafe, so you can immediately enjoy reading a new book along with a cup of coffee and a snack. Furthermore, many events are often held here - meetings with authors, autograph signings, workshops and lectures. With the exception of the pre-Christmas shopping frenzy, the atmosphere here is more like a library than a regular store, and even during the holidays it's relatively tolerable, thanks to the large area and the large number of cash registers. Thanks to the parking right in front of the entrance, but also around the entire building, elevators and barrier-free ramps, this store is extremely accessible.

Common bookstore, it has good administration, when I order something online, the next day I could pick up my book.
