I had the pleasure to know this accommodation in occasion of the delivery of carbon road bike rentals provided to their guests by my own company (velocerental.com) The crew of this hotel was very professional and welcoming, moreover I believe this is one of most bike friendly hotels in Otranto who give the possibility to store the bikes in a safe place. Very suggested if you are looking for a bike friendly hotel in this area.

We have been here 2 days and have come as a big party for my Sons wedding . Very good service and quite reasonable place. Part 2 After 8 days with 20 of us here I think we have a much better idea of this place. We did start to get some issues about some of the rules they have such as wanting to charge 5 euros just to borrow a wine glass or a small plate. Eventually paper cups or plastic cups were found..... On one day we had to leave early for a day trip and they said it was not possible to do a few rolls whereas another couple did have breakfast early because they were leaving on an early flight. We had ants in our luggage in a couple of rooms and they seemed reluctant to tacle it but eventually sorted and all fine. Room service was not straightforward. Breakfast was fine but they put themselves under too much stress by not having a toaster that customers can use themselves like every other hotel I have ever been to in my life. Also 2 coffee machines are a must. Quality of food was always excellent I think location is fantastic if you want to explore this part of the world, some staff did lose their tempers. When you realise that they are not sn international hotel and primarily cater for local visitors it makes sense. Overall definitely liked it but could be absolutely amazing with a bit of thinking around staffing and just copying what other hotels do.....

We did not stay at the hotel but did use the pool and ate dinner twice at their INCREDIBLE restaurant! The food is probably the best we had in Otranto. The entertainment on Friday night's with local folk players had The entire crowd involved and "allegro" all night long. Wonderful, wonderful evening! The lobby, lounge, restaurant, garden and pool areas are exquisite so if that's any indication the rooms must be very well appointed. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

I booked this hotel for my parents 50th wedding anniversary trip. We have stayed here before ourselves too. They loved the hotel, the spacious room and the fact that there is a restaurant with good and tasty food. Even though they are 70 years old, they could easily walk to the city centre and boulevard. Our host Alessandro helped me with organising their stay, a suprise and all my questions. Thank you Alessandro for making this a stay to remember for them!

Had a fantastic time during our five night stay! The room was spacious and we were able to store our large luggages in the large wardrobe (we had the smallest room type but it wasn’t an issue!). All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful - they helped us get discounts on bike rental, laundry recommendations and were an absolute delight for any need they arose. Pool was great, beach was a 5 min walk away and the gym was a great plus (small but convenient). Internet worked fine and large laptop safe accommodated multiple electronic items. Restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner - great selection of local delicacies! The garden was also a great place to relax, read a book and have a chat. It is an escape from the city while being a stones throw away!

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff. Brilliant location near the town and seafront. Spacious rooms and lovely pool area. Giuseppe and the team were amazing and accommodating our large wedding party. We had the best week here with tasty breakfast, evening beers and loads of great restaurants a short walk away 👍👍

Stayed for two weeks. Restful resort with helpful friendly staff. English communication is limited, but workable. Building & facilities are starting to show signs of age. The area outside of the resort has very limited if any English. Use the staff for assistance.

Very well located, enjoyed the spa services that are included with the superior room but I wouldn't pay €20 per person otherwise for the spa. Great breakfast compared to most hotels in this price range.

Aspires to be better than it is.. Yes it has a pool, which is a Godsend after a hot day at the beach but one of the showers at the pool doesn't work, there are weeds sprouting from the drains and both times we went to the pool there were no towels - the first day I got fed up of waiting and after 40 mins went to reception and asked for some; the second day they did arrive pretty quickly. The rooms - h'mmm.. they're very tired. We were lucky to book one overlooking the garden, the other ones overlook the carpark. The room we stayed in, and various others, had had the locks replaced haphazardly, so much so that we found the door open one morning after definitely closing it the night before. The TV didn't work, lots of people have mentioned this in other reviews, it didn't bother us too much but still.. The bathrooms were ok, shower in bath arrangement. Bath was a spa bath but the jets looked so filthy I was never going to use it. Also it's the details, if you claim to be a 4 star hotel then don't leave old bits of shower rails still attached to walls and make sure soap dispensers work.. The rooms have a balcony, but there's nothing but containers of dead laurel separating each room's balcony from the next and 2 basic plastic chairs, not even a table on the balcony - 4 star, I mean.. come on!! Breakfast.. blimey, where to start. It's awful. The only 'hot' option was scrambled eggs, The juice was some horribly sugary concoction. At times there was no milk, no bread, no ham, no eggs, only ever 1 small plate of sad looking rocket and green tomatoes, tons of cake though if you want to stuff yourself with sugary stuff in the morning. I don't personally.. The staff were generally pretty good though. With a bit of investment this place could be great, it's a really good location for the old town and probably the nearest / only hotel with a decent sized pool but I think it plays on that - it's definitely not 4-star and at over £200 a night is a clearly a rip-off for the standard of room, breakfast, everything really..
