Royal Hypermarket is one among the few supermarkets in Ottappalam. They have enough parking space, one in front of the shop and there is a parking space behind. All the grocery items are in the ground floor and the toys and other stationeries are on the first floor. The advantage we observed here is that, they have a vegetable and fruits counter inside, which is not there in Choice supermarket. They have a points system attached to the bill (but I have not redeemed it yet). Accepts cash, card and upi with 4-5 billing counter.

Limited parking space, very crowded, no proper queue structure, no express checkout despite acting like there is. Service from the management end is defensive so feedback didn't work. I wouldn't write this if it was a bad queue but this is worse. Any line could be a queue to billing. Most people waiting at cash counter are selfish so don't bother being polite or nice, if you do you won't get home before your ice cream melts.

Overall experience is not that great. Staffs even don't know the codes. Entire billing system is waste. Basically the attitude of staffs is most irritating one. You can't see staff which is required for a section rather they will be available for those products for marketing and they irritate us to buy the product. Even though we say no to them 3 or 4 times still they push. Missing bar codes in items ( when we brought knife and at billing they found no bar code - made us waiting for 15 minutes). If you take 20 minutes for purchase. You need to wait 40 minutes for billing. Very pathetic service

Decent prices and good variety. Would be great if staffs dont use the saliva to seperate bags. Saw one of them doing in fruits and veggies section. Other than that ,a comfortable shopping experience.

Need to avoid plastic covers. Can make use of old newspapers and make paper bags (many supermarkets in Bangalore use that) for fruits and vegetables. Also, need to have non-plastic carry bags without shop labels for customers who don't bring their own (You may even charge for it). Else, good to have a Hypermarket in Ottapalam town with quality items.

A place where we get all things u der an umbrella ... We get each and every thing there.. for vegetables we can select accordingly to our wish in quality and quantity... really nice service to.. we have good parking area too.... Over all it's an good place for shopping...

Th only Hyper market in ottappalam. Almost all house hold items are available here. They do have wide range of products with ample stock and selection. Situated on Cherplassery road nearly opposite to LSN school. They do have offers on prices at times

It's a good place in ottapalam. You will get everything under one roof. It has two seperate section, one is for groceries and one is for electronic items and toys. It has slight differences in price as compare to Reliance smart bazar.

Customer service and parking facility is good but need to enhance the parking area. Fruits & veg should be kept in chiller with appropriate temperature

One stop shop , u get literally everything , play area for kids is good but the balls within it are damaged, so it's better to check on it before the child enters ,as it may poke the children feet, I have informed it to the concerned authority,hope they bring some change

Good supermarket, less discount compared to other supermarket's. Variety & availability of items at any given point of time. Staff is very good, very good hospitality.
