We decided to stay at Byward B&B because it was very close to the American Consulate (our primary reason for visiting Ottawa). I was a little disappointed initially as the room was much smaller than I imagined looking at the pictures. But it was very cozy and cute and the mattress and pillows we slept on were amazing. We were greeted by Wendy the next morning and she fed us a simple yet nutritious and tasty breakfast. She is a wonderful host and we loved chatting to her. She made us feel at home and generously let us check out late. The location of the B&B couldn't have been better. Byward Market with all the wonderful restaurants was less than 5 minutes walk, The museum, church and parliament hill are all at a very close walking distance. I am very happy I chose Byward B&B and would highly recommend it.

Stayed here with my family for a couple days. It was very nice! Clean, well stocked with supplies, and had a very nice modern..art deco feel to it? I don't know, but it was cool in there. I would recommend staying here! Great location too, a very short walk to all that Ottawa has to offer!

A jewel in the heart of the Byward. Highly recommend. Super comfy beds. Very clean and amazing art everywhere.

Wendy, our host, was gracious and considerate. Her house is modern and functional and was within walking distance to everything we needed. I'd stay here again in a flash!
