A good place if you just need a place to crash for a couple of nights or so. It has all the basics you need. Although an upgrade of towels and bedsheets would not be bad for the place. Cleaning should be better. I would give 5/10. The plus side it close to two bus stations and you ca access bus 5, 55 and 16. There is a subway close by if you are hungry.

It's pretty much as advertised. It's good value. The staff is very pleasant. Would be a great place to book if you had a sports team visiting for a tournament in Ottawa. You're not going to get a better deal at a better location anywhere. My only criticism is the beds are incredibly soft like the box spring needs to be replaced.

Very affordable rooms, kept nice and clean, and not too far from downtown. It's most certainly further than you would think though. The staff here has all been very friendly and welcoming. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. 90$ for a two bedroom room with a kitchenette is a wicked price.

Bang for your dollar! A great place to stay if you are vacationing in Ottawa due to it being so close to downtown. There's a subway, pure vegan restaurant, gas station, a small strip mall close-by. Staff during staffed hours are very friendly and generous. The only suggestion to the management would be to provide some kind of breakfast option for an extra cost. This would be the icing on the cake.

room was 'ok'. However, on a really rainy day, after I had paid for parking ahead of arrival, I was told I couldn't park in close proximity to the rental unit. I had to park almost at another block. Carrying my luggage in that rain after I was asked to pay for parking did not make sense to me. I spent two hours looking for an alternate place to stay. If you charge for parking, make sure there is ample and convenient parking.

We stayed at the Residence & Conference Centre for four days. It was very clean and conveniently located to downtown. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with questions on what to do and where to go.

It's nice and quiet. We got the two bedroom one in the busy August. Has basic supplies. Staffs are friendly. In a University campus, feels safe. Clean. Do need drive to parliament hill. Would come back.

Keeping in mind how cheap the rooms are, they are well above what is to be expected. Rooms are quiet and spacious. 4 people (2 couples) can comfortably share a single accomodation. Only negative is the parking situation, but that still is overshadowed by many positives. Would recommend!

I recently stayed a night here in a two bedroom with my two kiddos and fur baby. At first the mixed reviews left me uncertain about me booking here but I kept an open mind. These are dorm rooms that students on campus usually stay in so don't expect to be walking into a five start hotel. The location is a mix of residential and industrial, on a campus and near construction. I did not hear any construction though and our stay was pleasantly quiet. The building in my opinion wasn't hard to find so I'm not sure what others in the reviews were talking about lol and I'm not from here I'm from BC originally. The staff are very nice and check in was a breeze. Parking was $10 bucks a day and right out front but in their busier months if that lot is full you have to park in their other lot which is farther away so keep that in mind. There are a few good resturants nearby and we found it to be fairly central. It wasn't right downtown but it wasn't that far of a drive to downtown either. My son had to have surgery done at the cheo hospital and it was only six minutes away which was very convenient for us. So hospital patients keep this place in mind! They don't do a discount for hospital patients but still way cheaper then the ones that do. The building has some ammenties like a laundry room, gym and movie theatre which you can bring your own movies or video games to play on the big screen. We paid $95 a night so $107 with tax. We found this to be the best deal around. We don't have a credit card and they didn't request a cash deposit nor did they charge us for our dog to stay there too. The dorm room was huge! Two nice sized bedrooms with desks, flat screen tvs and dressers, kitchnete with a full sized fridge, microwave and dining area. There is no coffee pot or coffee so bring your own or go to starbucks or timmys. The bathroom was quite large too but no tub ours had a big shower. The place was very clean!! Good job housekeeping! Our only complaints are the beds were a little small and no breakfast. The carpet did have a couple old stains nothing too bad and the top blankets were a little greasy feeling so we didn't use them. The sheets and soft blankets under those were clean and comfortable just the top blankets on the beds felt like they either needed a good wash or to be replaced. We stayed on first floor and we felt really safe in the area. We originally had two nights booked but we didn't need to stay an extra night after my sons surgery so we asked despite it being hours past check out that if we could get refunded for that night as we wouldn't need the room and they said of course! They refunded us no problem. Honestly we're very impressed with this place. We for sure will stay here again if in the area. Thank you for our lovely stay. 5 stars!

Best value for your money. Rooms are clean and tidy. Includes kitchen area with sink, fridge, microwave. Its not fancy or high end, but I highly recommend this for travellers with high standards and tight budgets.

Great place! I've stayed here many times. I always come back because it's clean, safe, friendly (especially Joel the Manager), centrally located near the downtown area and the price is right! The suite is 2 separate bedrooms with doors, kitchen and bathroom. It's very plain inside with minimal decorations. Beds are comfortable and cozy. There is a large park like area in the back to sit or walk around. Excellent for a pet as well. My dog loves it!! Complimentary fresh coffee and tea is available all day. There is also a fitness room and vending machines. The Residence and Conference Centre a separate part of the St. Paul University. Plenty of parking too! Just a short drive to the downtown area or about a 15 minute walk. Hope you enjoy it. Have fun on your vacation or business trip! Tami :)
