Great front desk staff esp Kyle! Amazing breakfast with awesome touches and the staff are superb, quick to refill, clean up and just smile! Amazing Fitness center, rooms are quality and large. We cannot express ourselves on how much we loved this place. Nice pool. Housekeeping did a bang up job cleaning everywhere. Perfect size! Will def return and share our experience. Had some family come to visit and we all fit in the room. Thanks Homewood Suites and staff. Keep up the good work. Oh only problem, the elevators broke down as we had to leave. 6 floors was not much fun with a lot to carry down. hahahah The other elevator was not working at all during our 3 nights there.

Arrived around 1:15pm to check in. Was told by the front desk lady that no room was available and I needed to wait until 2pm. Then, at 2pm, she told me to wait until 3pm. I do not understand why it takes 2h to clean one room. She was always on the phone. Every time I needed to talk to her, I had to wait 10 mins. Very poor management here. So, I decided to leave this place when I was told to wait another hour, and asked for a partial refund. The staff agreed, but when my booking agency called them for the refund. They refused. Would not recommend this hotel...

I reached this place at 2.50 pm( just 10 minutes before the check-in time) and I was told by rude front desk lady that my room is not ready. The housekeeping has not cleaned it yet. When you kick out your guests at 12.00 noon or even before, then why the rooms are not ready even after 3 hrs? She rudely asked me to go and come back after 3pm. This hotel really sucks. I had to wait till 3pm with a baby to get the keys. A suite of 4 guests has just 3 towels provided. Now I wait for the management to apologize with a same copy paste reply like on all others posts. And they really don't care.

Comfortable hotel with efficient, friendly service! Spacious room (we had the suite) which was well equipped with everything you need. One thing lacking was the complete absence of any information about the hotel amenities or surrounding area (no brochure, no booklet, and nothing on the hotel website). We were disappointed that the social hour (Monday to Thursday) was cancelled because of COVID (couldn't they at least provide a snack or something instead?) and with the prepackaged breakfast, which seemed unnecessary now since all restaurants are now open (why do they need to give us prepacked food in paper bags when the rest of the country is eating out normally?). Pool is nice but cold and there is no hot tub to warm up in, so beware! If they brought back the full breakfast and weekday social hour, it would be a certain 5 star experience!

Large suites with separate bedroom made night time a pleasure. We could tuck the children into bed, close the door and still have access to TV, table, chairs, couches. Great place to stay. Rooms are very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking items, toaster, full size fridge, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and more. Great for a family stay if you don't want to be eating in restaurants all the time. Hallways and other common areas are clean and well lit. Staff is very friendly. There is a well stocked mini store open 24hrs per day. Candy bars, water, soft drinks, ice ream and even microwave meals available. Cash or charge to room options. Complimentary breakfast was a hit with our family. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Overall the hotel is nice and modern, the room was clean although could use some light maintenance as the wallpaper was starting to peel and was noticeable. The main issue was that the parking was full when I returned from dinner and the staff asked that I park in the parking of a hotel over 700m away. I was obviously not happy and when I got there the parking was full hence the staff had no idea what was going on, so I parked in a convention centre parking instead not knowing if I was allowed and had to walk back hoping that was permitted and it was. But now I’m parked so far away checkout was a pain. The staff were indifferent to the situation and when I asked to be compensated or they provide something to make my stay better they dismissed me outright .

Amazing hotel! We got a great deal, loved the free breakfast, WiFi was excellent, beds were very comfortable. Pool could have been cleaner and I wish they provided cleaning tools like brooms/dusters, but otherwise a very nice place to stay in Ottawa :)

Friendly and accommodating staff. Good hot breakfast. Clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The suites are wonderful for longer stays so you can have groceries and snacks and even cook meals when tired of dining out. Restaurants right next door.

The hotel cleanliness was great but my god the beds were absolutely HORRIBLE! We booked two rooms and both rooms the king size beds were sinking in. Clearly you could tell that the beds and the pillows had a lot of mileage on it. Speaking to the front desk staff we were told they can't replace the mattress. One of the staff members mentioned that these mattresses have not been replaced in years.... We were excited to come and stay but after a tiring long car journey we were looking for a good night sleep, but instead we were up all night waiting for the sun to rise.

Stayed here a couple times. The rooms and overall quality of the place is quite good. Breakfast buffet is typically busy but I've never had trouble getting food. There's a service station, star bucks, restaurants, and a small shopping area with some services within walking distance. The free shuttle is handy and the airport is less than 5 minutes away. Anytime I needed assistance the employees were on it. A little far from the excitement of downtown but that's what taxis are for.

Homewood is a good hotel. It definitely gives you value for money. Rooms are clean and spacious and they have everythign you possibly need for a good stay. I loved the breakfast and the options they had. Breakfast was also very tasty. The service was good and wifi fast. The location is good. There is a gas staion nearby just incase you need to buy stuff and a couple of restaurants around. Overall, i would stay at this hotel again.

Good location and easy access to Ottawa airport. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is okay. The only issue is that they do not do any service during your stay, not even replenish condiments or change / put fresh towels

Excellent hotel. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable furniture. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Kitchen is well equipped enough for a short stay. Had trouble connecting one device to WiFi but tech support straightened it out remotely. Minor issues: There is only one chair at the kitchen table. Housekeeping replenished the coffee and paper cups, but not the creamer, tea, or dishwasher soap. They didn't clean the coffee maker. There is limited parking. Kitchen lacks an electric kettle for tea, but you can use a pot on the stove.

Everything was great. Great breakfast. Two things didn't work well for me, the wifi was not secured and too much chlorine in the pool. The rest was perfection 👌

I highly recommend coming to this hotel. Definitely coming back here again! The hotel room was clean look nicer than expected. I was surprised of how organized they were, and how they had everything a kitchen needed, which was nice. I will definitely come back again. Thank you !!

I booked a room for my son for 1 night as he had early flight from Ottawa Airport. I selected this hotel because it provides a free shuttle to the airport. They told my son that shuttles start only at 5am which means he will miss the flight. It is not mentioned on their Web site that the shuttle starts at 5 am, otherwise we wouldn't have selected this hotel. I called the hotel reception but they were useless. Very bad for big brand. We will not book their anymore.

Nice hotel with great staff. Although the breakfast isn't awesome but not bad either. Spacious rooms with great service. We enjoyed our stay here. Good value for the price!

Mattresses and pillows need to be replaced, way past their prime. TV was past prime too...dark could not be adjusted. Just time to up date technology like other Homewood suites. That being said it was a quiet hotel close to alot of stuff.

My next door people made so much noice for 3 days continue day and night (even after 2 am) with heavy music and loud noises. No one took appropriate actions not even help desk. Very bad experience. People should respect each other’s peace as hotels are not their home.

perfect for our family, we were 3 adult and 2 toddlers, and we fit largelly in the room. the kitchen inside the room is well equiped for making small meal. the leanving room is pretty big too and the bedroom with the 2 beds are large. bathroom was clean. the pool was perfect for us. we were the only one using it the 2 times we went there. and the odor of chlorine is light enough so we are not troubled by it.

Beautiful, large rooms. Modern decor, looks fairly new. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had hot items for breakfast. Only draw back was our room was beside the housekeeping room and ice machine, someone took at cart out at 11pm and it sounded like a train running through our room. Would have given 4.5 stars if possible

The hotel check in was seamless and the staff were very freindly and helpful. I had a large suite with a kitchen that was well stocked with even a dish washer. The furnishing was simple and the room was clean and confortable. I hosted my extended family and there was enough place to sit. Being located close to restaurants and cafés it was also easy to order in. They have a large breakfast with a big choice. I would definitely go back..

With the exception of the disrespectful guests in the room next to us, we had a lovely stay at the Homewood Suites near the Ottawa Airport. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. We would stay here again without hesitation, but we would choose a room that did not have an adjoining door.

Came in really late on a Saturday night, and was not in the mood to be chatty and talkative, and the front staff was emotionally intelligent enough to not force the issue, and found a way to both be courteous and friendly without annoying me with over-the-top friendliness you might expect at a hotel reception. Kitchen staff and cleaning staff are professionals who were very kind and accommodating. Absolutely stay here.

Filthy. Multiple surfaces were sticky or oily. Cutlery with dried food bits. Condom wrappers behind the drawers. Ring in the tub. I had to clean the entire suite on my own. Awful breakfast with guests coughing into the buffet chafing dishes. Disgusting hotel. Unhelpful front desk staff when I had PREMIUM WIFI issues.

Safety Concern during Our Stay My family recently stayed at Hilton Homewood Suites from October 29th to 31st, and I wanted to share our experience. While our stay had many positive aspects, there was a concerning incident that warrants attention. Our son opened a drawer in our suite, and the dresser fell on him. Fortunately, he wasn't seriously injured, but the potential danger was clear. Subsequently, we discovered that the dresser was not securely attached to the wall, which highlighted a lack of necessary safety measures. This absence of precautions is unacceptable and poses a serious risk. We hope Hilton addresses this issue promptly to ensure the safety of all its guests. While this incident was unsettling, we trust Hilton to take the necessary steps to improve safety measures in their accommodations. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and we believe Hilton can rectify this issue to maintain the high standards we expect from their brand.

Homewood Suites by Hilton is all you would expect from a good chain. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the staff are courteous and helpful and the breakfast is well prepared. I would readily recommend this to anyone staying for a week or more at a time.

Homewood Suites by Hilton is an awesome place to stay. Our room was very spacious and clean. Free parking, complimentary breakfast, fitness centre, in room kitchen were perfect amenities. It was all we needed.

The suite itself is great. I checked in at Nov 23rd morning and the receptionist was not very friendly and welcoming. He acted like I own him money. 3-stars hotel should be better than this

Kitchen was fully stocked with items. Highly recommend this if you are traveling with a family as food can add up. You can being and warm up, even cook in the units. We went to the supermarket and for ready made food and ate like at home. It's like a mini condo

This picture was taken after the storm May 2022. Our suite was great for our family of 5. With a full kitchen including a dishwasher and full fridge and stove. The staff were very nice. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Content with the stay. Room is big and clean. It has a kitchen with full size fridge. Free breakfast and free parking included. Close to highway. About 20 mins drive to downtown. I prefer to stay here rather than in downtown with extra pay for parking.

Here for a basketball tournament, nice that they have a full fridge and 2 burner stove top. Plenty of room within the suite. Large breakfast area so no trouble finding seats in the morning.

My husband and I were in town for a conference and stayed here for two nights. We booked the king suite with the kitchenette and were very impressed! Room overall was very spacious, clean and well-designed. Kitchen came with a full-sized fridge and mini stove if you wanted to use it. Breakfast buffet had a great selection :). Lisa was very warm and welcoming each morning which made a huge difference as well! We also enjoyed the 24/7 coffee and tea that was available near the front reception since we had super early mornings. Parking was spacious and readily available as well. All in all a great experience and totally worth what you pay for!

The room was huge and very clean. The lobby was very clean as well. We had 2 issues. One was the comfort of the mattress. It was too hard for our liking. The second was that we were in an adjoining room and at about 2am the neighbours tried to break through the door. After that we did not sleep well. This is not the hotels fault. We just had ignorant people next door. I would stay again if we were staying longer to get use of all the amenities. The location is also very good

I stayed at the Airport Ottawa location for 2 nights. The hotel says 3 stars but it truly feels like a 4 or 5 star. The room we were booked in had a king-size bed and was super clean. It had a fully functioning kitchen complete with every single item you would need if you were staying in your own home. Pots, pans, utensils, extra towels, hair dryer, iron, and all bath & body goodies; everything was already in the room. The hotel had all-day complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge available to us. There was a pool and gym fully accessible throughout the day for everyone. Our stay included a free breakfast buffet and there were options of meat and vegetarian. They had 24/7 wi-fi and it was super fast. And lastly, the hotel is built super nice. From the entrance to the lounge to the hallways, everything was looking elegant and gorgeous. If you are in town and want to spend your night at a quality hotel, I recommend this place 100%. I will say that the hotel is quite expensive but for all the amenities provided, it's worth staying in.

We have stayed at this location a few times before. The staff are friendly and accommodating, from the front desk to house keeping. Rooms are clean and spacious. We are a young family of 6 and enjoy the amenities, pool, putting green, breakfast. Will be staying again.

Nov 5th 2022 One quick night in this hotel and service was 5 star all the way. King suite with Kitchenette just because we like the extra room. Comes with a full Breakfast Bar. Nice indoor Pool. all the amenities you would ever need. Very clean hotel.

We travel to Ottawa a lot for overnight medical appointments and we were worried when our regular hotel was suddenly unavailable and they sent us to their sister site. Our son doesn't do well with change however from the moment he entered this place, he loved it. It's become his happy place and we agree. It's extremely well equipped for long stays, families and general comfort. The suites are large, clean, well stocked and have perfectly set up kitchens. The free breakfast is amazing, the pool and fitness room is one of the better we've seen, the stocked "store" is packed with something for everyone even gluten free, keto etc. They have laundry machines too. Pets are welcome too. It's a must stay. Airport shuttle too. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We loved staying here. Everything was clean and thought of. One of the best places for the price too, definitely recommend choosing to stay here! (Bonus, the complimentary breakfast was really good too)

This hotel is wonderful, breakfast was fantastic so much to choose from. The only one thing we traveled 7 hrs. And we tried to check in a bit earlier their policy you have to wait after 3pm for check in. And window no drapes for black outs the sunshine! Overall it's a great place to stay.

We chose this hotel for a one night stay in our own neighbourhood during a renovation because, of all the hotels between Uplands and Paul Anka along Hunt Club, it is the furthest from the higher traffic areas. We also wanted a kitchenette. Our suite on the south side of the building lived up to our expectations of quiet, and we were pleased with all aspects of our stay.

Rooms are amazing. Especially with kids. The separate bedroom is genius! And separate bathroom away from the sink. My kids and I loved it. The amenities were great. Great fitness area and oool is a good size. I loved that it’s close to everything you need. It’s right beside Starbucks and Lonestars Texas Grill and A&W. the breakfast buffet was impressive as well. This is my second Homewood Suites location. I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

We booked a clean and spacious suite with a large bedroom, 2 queen size beds, and a living room with a kitchen and high-speed internet for a family of 5. Other amenities include 2 televisions, a dishwasher, a fridge, a dining table, a hair dryer, an ion and ioning board, a writing desk, and sofas. The rooms had independent heating and cooling. The hotel had ample parking spots, and the location was close to all major outlets and a gas station. The bathroom was clean and well maintained with hot water and other amenities. The exhaust for the washroom was not working, and there was no resolution from the hotel staff. Our kids enjoyed the gym and swimming pool. Complimentary breakfast was available, but food options were limited. The service was quick and courteous at the breakfast lounge. I wish they had more food choices. Check-in and check-out were smooth and overall a good experience. 👍

I stayed for 4 nights this past weekend with my husband and our 3 kids, and was very pleased with everything! The room was clean and comfortable, the food was great, the staff were super helpful and friendly. The highlight was when we went to go swimming an hour before checkout, and it was closed for maintenance. They quickly offered to call the hotel across the parking lot to see if we could use their pool, and we ended up enjoying an hour of swimming. They also had a highchair in the dining room which is rare to see! Definitely recommend!!
