This hotel is clearly for new immigrants or arrivals. Staff members shown a major need for improvement on organization.. witness the owner and managers yelling and talking aggressively to new immigrant arrivals. they had us in a small room

Terrible! Bed bug infested! Dirty, old and unkempt! AC didn't work, toilet was dirty and even as little as light bulbs were missing in the room, so it was such a dark, dingy feel until the bulbs were fixed after some hours but room and bathroom still had the dingy smell because the room is poorly ventilated and the AC just wouldn't work. Staff were courteous though but the hotel itself needs to be revamped.

Really comfy bed. However, the upkeep of the tub and the furniture and lack of comfort lighting like a lamp made it feel like a basement rec room. Heaters are working great got a little warm. You can also slightly hear the rooms next to you little more than usual for a motel when it's "adult time". Service is good and the place didn't have a smell at the time. Pretty good for a 2 star motel. Takes cash deposits too.

The room stinks, it's small and my room felt like a basement nothing to look at outside the window. I asked to get my sheets and blankets changed a few times but the housekeeping never came. Walls are pretty thin so there's a lot of noise, doors are no good it slams or makes loud noises.

I had to award at least 1 star otherwise I would not have been able to post a review - my 1-star is actually a 0-star. The accommodations are barely fit for human lodgings, which clearly doesn’t bother the vermin, or indeed some of the unfortunate souls who have no other choice for where to stay! I would not be at all surprised if the building failed on numerous code compliance requirements. Domestic (or perhaps undomesticated) pets were in rooms; smoking laws in public places not exercised; general disrepair of rooms; I could go on. Traveller beware!

The lady that works there,Anne, is incredibly kind and made my stay there with my daughter as comfortable as possible. She did a great job and was so helpful, the room was clean and cozy. THANKYOU!

To be honest this place is not a hotel. First of all it is too old (1950s) and they never renovated anything. Everything in the room has a problem, some stuff don’t work and the people in charge do nothing about it. I would recommend any body looking for a hotel with good care and reasonable price to go to Comfort Inn West.

Cheap, affordable (i mean relatively anyways ottawa is expensive in general) the rooms have a weird design but does the job, shower was a little frustrating to figure out but everything worked.....bed was really nice, is close to my friend/girlfriends (not sure what we are) house

Honestly the stay was not bad it is what I expected and the staff was courteous. Well pros and cons, the TV has no remote that can operate it, the fan I'm the bathroom does not work, but despite these small inconvenience the heater works and the price and location works for me. I might definitely stay here again if I traveling on a dime. The place is clean in the inside and pretty quiet I am well surprised.

I cant even get my refund because I return the key I forgot to take my refund and I came back not even a month they say they have alot of paper to do so they cant do refund so what I have to do the hotel been thief for 100$

Basic l, really basic nothing fancy. It’s quiet, could be cleaner. If all you need is a place to sleep and shower then this is perfect.

Exceptionally friendly staff and very accommodating. Price was very fair. For the most part I have no complaints and it was actually much nicer interior wise then anticipated.

The motel was very nice inside! The staff are very accommodating! We checked in Saturday at 4pm and the gentleman who checked us in was awesome! I didn't like the shampoo/conditioner but that was my only concern. We will definitely come back!

When I got into my room at first glance it looked well cleaned, until I found baking soda in the drawer brillo and crack in the end table drawer the walls are badly scratched up and stains. Heat does not work in this room I have a little heater. No chairs at all the dresser drawers are broken and hard to open and shut. My room is paid by Cmha and my friend who paid cash her room was emaculate well taken care of pained recently, and my other friend the city pays her room same as mine needs a lot of work.
