What happened?! After two years of hyping up the new opening, this is sadly not the same restaurant and same flavour. The bulgogi ramyun had little to no beef with very little flavour, the dak balls were large pieces of chicken with so much coating. Disappointed as this used to be my favourite restaurant, but truthfully won’t be going back. Attaching photos of the new vs original bulgogi ramyun, which looks/taste nothing alike.

This seems like an authentic Korean place and it was near to where I was staying while in Montreal. If you can't take spice, do stay away from the spicy dishes! If you like spice, this is great! I tried the spicy Soondubu and it was spicy. I thought there was a little too much oil (chilli oil?) in the soup too. You'll need to crack the raw egg over your hot soup when it arrives. Despite it being too spicy, it was good comfort food. I will return again but probably try something less spicy. :) There aren't many seats in there so you might need to get it to go if it's full.

Ive been wanting to try the small Ganadara for a long time and i finally got the chance to. I was very satisfied with the big one across the street and its safe to say the small one is equally as great :) the food is fresh and tastes amazing. Its also very affordable, i only paid 13$ for the noodles and 5$ each for the appetizers. Coming back here very soon <3

only chicken katsu is acceptable. I don‘t recommend <Sundubu- soft tobu soup> and <Ramyeon>. Korean owned restaurant must be much better for Korean food!!!

Even though the restaurant is closed now but the love i have for them will never end. Hopefully they will reopen one day. The food is extremely good. Every single dishes are exceptional tasty and delicious. The waiting line can be about 30-45 minutes but it definitely worth the wait :)

I like the bulgogi ramen and the rosé tteokbokki but the yubu chobap are just so so to me. However I am still satisfied with my delivery order. I’m looking forward for more food choices in the menu sometime soon.

Perfect place for quick lunch or dinner. Menu super simple. We enjoyed the Ramyun and Tteokbokki with mandu (dumplings).

Okja poutine was awesome! Fast and friendly service, reasonable prices, and tasty food & drinks. Outdoor wooden chairs were a bit uncomfortable but I suppose it's done in the interests of not having people linger too long!

Service is a bit slow but it's worth the wait! The food was absolutely delicious 😋 the atmosphere is lovely 😍

The rose tteokbokki was absolutely delicious! Payment is made in advance, and you have the option to dine in or take out. I was thrilled to discover that Ganadara is back, especially considering their previous location where JaKo is now situated; I adored that spot. While it's not entirely comparable, I'm still quite content. It's worth noting that the interior space is quite small, but this is a minor concern.

Amazing korean food!! It’s way cheaper than any other I’ve visited and the food tastes even better than in korea. I ordered the teokkbokki and the noodles. The workers are all kind and I really enjoyed the food. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good, cheap korean restaurant in downtown.

I love the food! Space is small so it’s easier if you dine with 2-3 friends only haha 😅

Heard great things about this place and was excited to try it out when I started Uni in this area. They closed down and I thought that was it. But they reopened a while after and the wait was worth it. Definitely the best Korean Food place I know and best of all, it's definitely one of the cheapest. Been a regular for a while now and the staff are all very polite, and the food has consistently been phenomenal. Whoever picks out the music in the restaurant has good taste too.

It's a nice Korean restaurant near McGill station. I ordered the pork ramen and beef Mandu and chicken cupbap for takeout. The food was delicious with just the right amount of spice and some nice K pop beats makes for a great vibe. Big shout-out to the staff for accommodating me so close to closing time, Thanks guys!

My cousin recommended Ganadara so i could try their Korean version of ramen. It was 'ok' at best. But i did enjoy everything else. The menus dont have any pictures and the description of the dishes are vague and are basically just a list of ingredients. So what i did was showed the waitress photos from google reviews of what i liked to try. I was surprised how inexpensive it was to eat here, no wonder it's popular. And by popular i mean there's always a line to get in. We came in exactly at 11:30am when they opened and the place got packed instantly. The food is great, inexpensive, and very filling. But there's always and i mean ALWAYS a line up to get in.

The only downside of this is the long waiting line, especially if you're in groups (3 or more). Price is competitive, big portions, decent amount of meat and veggies. Service is fast even during rush hour. You can share it with friends to get to try more dishes. I came with 2 friends and we spend around $25 each, and we ordered food that's good enough for 4 people - but my friends are big eaters.... Be aware that the spicy food are pretty spicy!

Went here for a simple gathering of friends. Interior is small however it adds to the cozy ambiance, this restaurant does not take reservations but our group of 3 found a table very quickly (1400 on a Monday). The menu has a lot of variety and everything was delicious, service was relatively quick. The bulgogi mandu were juicy and crispy on the outside, and complimented very well with the sauce from the rosé tteokbokki dish. The bulgogi ramyum wasn’t too spicy and the broth and noodles had a little sweetness to them thanks to the beef marinade. The buldak chicken noodles didn’t disappoint! It’s spice level is significantly higher than the soup ramyum so proceed with caution.

Small, but brilliant food. Spicy pork is the best, followed by the fried chicken bowl. The spicy noodles are super spicy and I normally get Thai Hot for my dishes. The hot taste doesn't linger though.

The food is good and authentic Korean. It's affordable and well located. The place is tiny. So there's a line up if you arrive after noon. I got there at 11:30 today and there were only a few tables left and then by the time we left at least 20 people were lined up outside the door. The waiter was great though and accomidated a somewhat demanding friend with a smile. The service, food, and speed with which I was served was fantastic.

Honestly the first bite of the popcorn chicken had me wanting so much more. Every dish we ordered was so flavorful and if I wasn't so full by the end of it, I would have wanted more. I can understand why there's ALWAYS a line out the door. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but that really doesn't stop anyone from eating here. Service is nice and efficient and food arrived in a timely manner. All dishes ordered below are as named: - Cheese chicken katsu (you can never go wrong with this combination of food - fried pork dumplings (super tasty and the sauces drizzled on top make it even better) - tobboki (I really enjoyed the veggies and the rice cakes, note it is spicy) - popcorn chicken (by far my favourite dish, I could eat the whole plate if I wasn't with friends! Haha, very light and crunchy) The lineup is definitely worth it!

We enjoyed our meals. Their kimchi is amazing and the chicken ramen was very good. Also, very friendly and the food was served quickly.

Very fast and super well-priced! It was $13 each and we were stuffed The poutine is a really fun take - it’s got tteokbokki and noodles and lotsss of meat. I personally wish there was more tteokbokki and less fries, but it isss poutine. The poutine is big enough to share and really heavy. The fried chicken was a lovely texture but nothing crazy - kind of tasted like regular fast food popcorn chicken. They’re really friendly!

Nice atmosphere and decent service. I ordered the bulgolgi bowl and it was pretty good, although it could have used a little more seasoning. I'm not sure if it would be worth waiting in line for, but I came in during lunchtime, so it wasn't too busy. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're craving good Korean food

THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN !!! The wait can be very long before you get a seat, but it is totally worth it !! The food is tasty and authentic, the prices are good, and the menu has so many options now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

We went pretty late (9:30) for dinner but there was still around 20ish minute line up. The restaurant is small so it can only accommodate so many people. The food was very tasteful and really good. The portions were great considering the price. Really good prices for everything. Food seemed like good quality. And was pretty spicy which was great for me. The fried chicken was very good as well. The service was pretty fast. Servers were very nice and helpful. And the rest of the staff was very friendly as well. Overall, highly recommend it and would return.
