I walked all the way here from Byward Market just for the coconut cream pie...and it was totally worth the effort. The pie was delicious and paired very well with a hot coffee. Service was fast and friendly. I would highly recommend Louis Pizza. I am looking forward to returning to try their pizza (and another slice of pie 😇).

Absolutely the best pizza joint in Ottawa. 1. Their pizzas are delicious, especially the smoked meat pizza (in the picture. They put the meat INSIDE the cheese which makes the pizza a whole lot tastier. 2. Their staff is the best. Very welcoming, always smiling, always caring. They’re always trying to talk and build rapport. Never are they in the “get served and leave” mood. 3. Their overall restaurant vibe is cute. A fun place to just sit and enjoy their wonderful pizza. 10/10 would recommend.

Outstanding pizza and people. The dough is second to none, despite what two reviews described as salty and undercooked? Must be the competition writing this garbage. Sauce, cheese is quality, dessert pies, breakfasts just WOW. Try the pizza kits as well to take home and cook in your own oven. They are AMAZING and budget friendly. We bought 3 of them, and they were a big hit over the weekend. My favorite pizza in Ottawa or anywhere for that matter.

The best pizza you’ll ever eat. It’s the crust - so buttery and delicious that I could just eat it plain! Lots of amazing topping options and lots of other great foods like their poutine, as well. Staff always go above and beyond! Truly the sweetest people ever. Jo even made a crust display for my son whose obsessed with “ABC” when we last were there!

They’re absolutely the sweetest family-owned pizza restaurant ever. We ordered 4 Large Pizzas for our year-ended office party and they gave us an amazing deal, taste 10/10, and perfectly on time. I don’t have any more words. Will comeback here everytime I think of pizza.

I went there often with my parents as a child. Treated my parents tonight because they haven't had Louis in 20 years. The smell of the pizza when the server put it on the table brought me back.....the flavor is like no other. We drove 45 minutes to get there and it was well worth it. The service was excellent, as always. They treat you like family with the quality of the food and service. Well done, we will be back.

The only things that's better than the food at this place are the people! What a gem. Unreal food and the most beautiful people. The pizza was authentic, homemade pizza and the freshly made in house garlic sauce and coconut cream pie were the best ever. I wish I could eat there every single day. Can't wait to go back.

I discovered this place a few months ago after my cat died. I was walking home with some of her clay paw print impressions in my bag after visiting my vet, and I thought I needed a pick me up...And I'm really glad I walked in here. I had been a bit intimidated to walk in before as I had correctly assumed they only make full pizzas and not slices. But when I asked, the ladies at the front were so welcoming and wanted to make my first experience with them really great. They were quite busy for a Tuesday afternoon, with half the restaurant full and tons of pickup orders getting made so I figured they were worth a try. They gave me a coffee while I waited for my pizza to go and my partner and I loved having lunch together when I got home. I told him about how waiting for my pizza was so nice, the waitresses were so sweet and I could immediately see that almost all their clientele are regulars, as the front desk was greeting everyone by name. It was honestly the most bustling, feel-good place I've discovered in a long time. My partner and I have now gone in to eat there multiple times and ordered Louis' from delivery apps a lot. We like to get the meat lovers pizza with feta and extra sauce, and I can tell you that all their homemade coconut/chocolate/banana cream pies are amazing. We want to try more of the menu but we can't not order their pizza, so it's been a slow process :P The food, atmosphere and service are all exceptional, and if you call in advance they have been amazing on the phone when it comes to setting aside the delicious food you want, or they can help you put a note to modify your online delivery order the way you want. Someone who sat next to us calls this place the Cheers of pizza restaurants, and I don't have to watch Cheers to tell you he's right. Thanks for making a bad day better, and a lot of other days really great since then.

One of the best pizza we ever had! They kept the look and feel of this authentic 60’s pizzeria filled with great stories about the relationship between the owners (the uncle who was the original owner and now his niece) and the community. And if your wondering about the food, the place was packed on a Tuesday night, and take-out orders kept going out. Definitely a site to see if you are visiting from out of town!

Tried the coconut pie amazing. Nothing like homemade foods. The pizza reminded me of my childhood. Highly recommend and staff super friendly. A lovely experience ☺️

I came here for the first time with my boyfriend and it's almost like the waitress knew it was our first official date. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing and the chef made us a pizza in the shape of a heart. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I highly recommend Louis Pizza to anyone.

Tonight was my second time visiting this location. I haven't tried your cream pies yet (but i worked at a pie restaurant [Country Cousins where i served Pete Wence, Ashley Simpson and more in the future restaurants]) but they look beautifully. Beauty is deceiving and i know that you use an oil based whipped topping. How long do those display pies sit? Are they mouldy under neath? Do you know how to make and display and "overly showy fluff"; but for these reasons i will avoid your deserts. As for the pizza: Delicious but lacked the golden broiled look. Your employee's tend to stand and talk while my Boyfriend, Thomas and I (my plate empty and his as well. One slice left on the pan) waiting for you morons to learn your alphabets and put 3 + .0014 together. 0.314 is calculus for PIE. 0.314 = PIE. I'm pretty (33) and he's older (+60) but i act my age. Can you please put you're careers and professionalism before dying thirst to satisfy your inner critics (google this. You probably have PTSD). Do your job or please go on welfare. Sincerely Addams

This place is a legendary institution and has some of the best non-chain pizza in the city. Great staff, very friendly atmosphere, fair prices and quality food. You can’t ask for a better experience.

The first time I had Louis Pizza was during my Air Canada days at 355 River Road, 40 years ago. To this DAY, it is still my all-time favorite pizza in the world (any kind, any combination) and we've been everywhere. Heavenly taste and very addictive. Great service; when you walk in there it's like family! No wonder there are over 2,250 excellent reviews. Other restaurants would kill for feedback like this. Love it.

Had not been to Louis Pizza in ages since my newborn son was intolerant to eggs and dairy. I was so happy that they were able to accommodate us without reservation on a rainy afternoon. The food is as good as I remembered it 😍

Let's start from the beginning. Once you walk in you notice the amazing vintage decor and then you are welcomed by the most pleasant ladies I've ever had the pleasure of speaking to. We just got a small pepperoni and a slice of coconut cream pie. Pepperoni pizza- From first glance you wouldn't think much besides ours was in the shape of a heart for valentines which was the cutest thing. Then you grab a slice and notice the perfect cheese pull with the nice char on the crust. First bite you will notice the sauce, cheese and pepperoni. All the ingredients have a very high quality flavour about it. You can tell it's elevated by the care they put. THEN you get to the crust and really start to notice what they've done here. I can't pinpoint exactly what they do differently. I personally think it might be added egg yokes. Just wow though. Best American style pizza in Ottawa👏 Coconut cream pie(famous)- This one was hard for me because I work in a restaurant that makes these so I consistently try them. This was a really great pie but I did have one mild complaint. The average person would not notice these things but again I make/eat this pie on a weekly basis 🤣. The cream was chef's kiss but the pie filling had a tad bit too much gelatin in it. AGAIN this was still an unreal slice of pie and based on the price your really robbing the place. I also didn't sit down so I can't say much on the service except for the multiple amount of smiles all the employees had which really made you feel comfortable.

Great staff, great food, told them we haven’t been in 10 years and they brought us out a heart shaped pizza! To top it off , they sang us happy birthday and gave us a free desert !

We don't get Louis often because it's out of our price range but for a treat we have always been happy to pay the extra! I was so excited to try the gluten free crust. It wasn't great a little Doughy. I had ordered the hamburger pizza thinking it would be like the cheese burger pizza with other things but it was just dry ground beef. The spaghetti was small and instead of garlic bread we now get buns (that were hard) and butter.

Listen, this is THE place to grab a slice of pizza or pie. The staff is super friendly, the food is fantastic, the prices are incredible, and you can tell they genuinely care about their business. Support this local shop, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Ate here for the first time, had a large pepperoni pizza, it was ready fast (15 minutes) I barely had time to drive to get it. I am not disappointed. This is my grandmothers favorite place, she has been eating here for 40 years and recommended it. I will also highly recommend. Best pizza I have had in a while.
