The dress code regarding males is totally unacceptable, if in today's apparently 'equal society' males cannot wear a tank top to a NIGHTCLUB (where it is really hot inside) then there is a serious problem. I went in with a tank top and was told that I could not wear it and I would have to put something over it or I was to leave the club. I accepted it by putting something over and when I was in the club, there were multiple amounts of girls wearing strapless tops, spaghetti strap shirts, and next to no clothing. This I found was very discriminatory towards men due to the fact that they have to follow by certain dress codes while the women and wear almost anything. The club coat check and security guards were not very friendly and were rude about the situation. Further more, the place was very smelly and was extremely hot.

Awful Nightclub, extremely small and crowded, the staff is horribly rude and one of the bouncers even STOLE money from me when I dropped a bill on the floor, when confronted the manager took the bouncers side and refused me my money back with 0 compensation. Dont recommend this place to anybody.

Paid 7$ @ coatcheck and forgot my phone. Immediately turned back to grab it and was rudely told to wait in line by a bouncer (apparently it was too busy to do a minute long task that could've been done within the time he was arguing with me). Wait in line patiently for fifteen minutes. Arrive at the coatcheck and they give me my jacket which didn't have my phone, politely ask for my purse. Same bouncer told me I had to LEAVE if I wanted my purse. (These are my belongings I paid to have here and you're retaining it from me?) Let me remind you, I had just arrived to the club sober and calm. I explained I simply needed my phone, he once again said I had to leave, speaking down on me as if I were a rowdy uncivilized drunk. Coatcheck gives me my purse and jacket, I say firmly but calmly to the bouncer that I'm not leaving for such a ridiculous reason. He sends two security guards to PUSH me (again, I was sober and calm) out into the stairwell, which of course was totally necessary to add that cherry on top of my mere 20 minute scum experience. Overall a whooping 10/10 for EXTREMELY poor customer service and lack of general respect.

On numerous occasions, I have witnessed the bouncer AND the staff inside being racist, and this is coming from a white person. My friend and I are treated completely different when we go there. The bartenders don't acknowledge my friend, and I've had to order for her. The bouncer also denied her access even though I was being wayyyy ruder, but I still got in. I've also observed racist behaviour towards people other than my friend. While waiting to get through coat check, I saw the bouncer come back in, and yell at a black individual that he was holding up the line because he didn't take his jacket off yet. There were so many ppl in front of him with their jackets on, and he was in a group of friends (he was the only black one), yet the bouncer ONLY yelled at him. I could go on and on about the racism I have witnessed here, but I'm not tryna write an essay. To sum it all up, this is the perfect location for you if substitute teachers never had trouble pronouncing your name.

Bouncers and security are very aggressive. First time there I witness a girl getting kicked out by security pulling on her hair and pinning her on the ground. I don’t see why that could ever be necessary. This place is often described as “greasy” and I agree with that. The drink I bought was mixed very lightly so I basically paid $7 for a small cup of juice. I had a good time here but only because of the people I was with. Music mixing wasn’t good at all.

horrible place with horribly violent bouncers, who go by their own rules. first and last time i go will ever go there, the bouncer told me i was being kicked out for getting my cardigan from the coat check and putting it on. i ask if he was seriously kicked me out for this, he replied with yes, i asked to speak to his manger and he pushed me down an entire flight of stairs, half way down i smashed my back on the railing and now i have bruised rib bones and my back was bleeding. it is illegal for a bouncer to apply any force on you unless you have done so to them. also i had a small purse in my friends big purse in coat check when she got them back my wallet was taken out of my purse, put into her bag but my purse wasn’t there, along with multiple other i items that were in her bag.

I can honestly say this is by far the best ran nightclub establishment in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. Staff are professional & friendly. The ambience was great, drinks were cheaper than what I’m used to & music was on point. Nice to see management that clearly cares about the overall customer experience. No idea how anyone could honestly give this place a poor rating! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Music is good. Shots are reasonably priced. But fights often breakout.

Beyond horrible staff, honestly do not even know how this place still gets business because of how unprofessional and nasty the place is. Complete and utterly trash. Especially Matt Ward and Ryan Blondin.

Like already stated the bouncers are very aggressive and arrogant. The place is small and usually gets pretty crowded. Don't bring a coat that you aren't prepared to loose in the coat check (learned the hard way). It is insanely common to be given the wrong coat and if they loose your coat it is hard to get in contact with them because their phone number doesn't even work. You can have fun here but nothing that will have you dying to come back.

Great nightclub if you're not 19.

Worst customer service i had in a while

Went with my university and I have a few complaints. 1:Drinks were not always charged properly. My first 2 screw drivers apparently cost $5. However after going to a different bartender for my 3rd I was handed change back (I had given the bar tender a $5 bill) 2: A few people that I spoke to the next day told me that their drinks were mixed light or were undeserved in general. 3:As many other people stated there is very little in terms of seating areas.

The best place to get sexually assaulted in all of Canada! Ladies be on guard entering this club. You're better off going to mardi gras a block away. The bouncers could care less if you have an issue. Don't trust any good review they have as they're written by people that work for them. They got so many 1 stars on facebook that they took their reviews down. So many girls have had problems here i'm surprised they haven't faced a lawsuit. The only people that go here are underage ottawa locals and 18 year olds from out of town who don't know any better. Be safe girls!

Got my Canada goose jacket stolen...they did nothing about it also there was poo on the bathrrom floor

Got there 20 mins before 11pm for VIP. Line took SOOO long because the coat check staff didn't know how to do their jobs. By the time we got in, we were denied free access because it was past 11, and we didn't have cash on us to get in because we got there early (and anticipated getting in for free as usual). When we told the coat check guy we were there 20 mins early and the line took too long, he said that wasn't his problem. We eventually came back with cash. After a while of dancing, my friend went up to the bar to get water (because it's a sauna in there), and the bartender said "you're here to get drinks, not water" and didn't give him the water. If you're 18 and wanna go clubbing in Gat, just go to Mardi.

It is a small bar very cosy. Always something is happening in and outside. great place for the tourist to go. Close to the border Ottawa-Hull

Small club on an upper floor. Small dance floor but nice lighting. Awful DJ on NYE. Clientele is kinda trashy.
